The vets and staff were very friendly. They made us feel like we had been coming there for years....it was Mac (cat) and my first visit. They diagnosed what was going on with Mac's eye and kept me posted along the way. We will be making a follow up visit soon.Temperance Animal Hospital, upon first impression, which means a lot, is the best bet clinic in the area. I will update this review, if needed. But I don't see that happening. 🙂

I took my elderly cat there and all of the staff members were AWESOME! They were very friendly and nice. They also let us come without a appointment. My cat was very ill, and within 10 minutes the doctor was caring for her. They were also very informative and taught me how to give my cat fluids through an IV. They saved her life. They even called me the next morning to check on her and work on her health plan. I'm making this her new veterinary clinic.

I made an orthopedic consultation appointment for my dog. I took time off work to drive here and have my dogs leg checked out and brought x-rays from my regular vet. I did not see the ortho vet, but was told he looked at the x rays briefly and didn’t see anything. He did not examine my dog. The main vet saw my dog, she was nice but really didn’t have any new information for me, it was a total waste of my time and $82 to just get another basic look over from a vet when I specifically made an appointment for an orthopedic consultation. They did not even walk him down the hall to check for the limp, he trotted about 10 ft and back despite me specifically saying it is a lameness that only occurs while walking.

We rescued our dog Tobin two years ago, and the vet he was seeing while at the rescue was awful. After looking up vets who would be good with fear reactive dogs we decided to take him to temperance animal hospital, and so glad we did. They go above and beyond to make sure he is as comfortable as can be, and even make sure to bring him in once the waiting area is clear. On top of that every vet and tech we have had has been so patient and kind with our scared guy. His last visit recently he even was able to be relaxed enough to have the vet rub his belly! This was a huge win for us, and meant so much. We love the staff here and will never go anywhere else.

Both I and my doberman (Hagrid) LOVE the staff and his two doctors. Dr Motoligin and her husband Dr polins are wonderful.The staff is always so kind, caring and accommodating.I wouldn't Trust anyone else with my fur child. Thank you all for always going above and beyond

Our normal vet completely left us hanging in an emergency scenario and these guys were able to make the room for the emergency. Incredible!!This will be the new vet for all our pets! THANKS

Dr. Mitoligion saved my cat, Luna. No one else could figure out what was wrong with her (I took Luna to my previous vet probably 15 different times for almost 2 years with no answers) and it turned out she had lymphoma. The vet at Temperance had her diagnosed and starting treatment in two weeks after our first appointment. Her recovery has been amazing. I have a happy, healthy Luna again. Worth every penny and the long drive for me. Amazing veterinary clinic.

We tried to get our cat into our normal vets office after he was attacked by a dog. Our vet wouldn't take him but Temperance Animal Hospital did take him. They stitched him and treated him and cleaned his wound. They did an excellent job within the week he was mostly healed. The vet was very gentle and seemed to care for our cat even though we had never been here before. We are going to change vets.

If your pet needs routine care or a vaccine, you may be okay. Anything more than that and you may find yourself in the wrong place. Don't hesitate requesting a referral to a specialist if you truly care about your pet and the eventual outcome. Don't make the mistake we did.

My doberman and I LOVE it here. I’ve brought him since he was a puppy (and previously my family brought my childhood pets)… we absolutely adore Dr Motoligin, and all the techs. She gets right down with him and gives him love… this to me is the best because it shows she truly loves her furry patients and I couldn’t ask for a better doctor…The front desk is also so kind, caring, and helpful as well. They always get me in when needed or in an emergency and whenever Hagrid walks in they all smile and tell him hello. Both I and my fur baby appreciate you so all much. Thank you for all loving my baby as much as I do.

Well , our dog Forrest first went there and first visit was ok , The lady vet said he was fine and he got his first shots (Shih-tzu ) second visit she tells me he has a testicletjat moves a little & said she told us about it first time , well no she didn’t ! I also told her b4 second shots thst he really was in pain first shots so they said they would give him a little pain medicine, Also told her my concern that he had a little runny nose & she examined him & continued to give him his shots , well he does not act sick at all but I was really upset the fact she did not make us aware of the problem with his testicle! Also I looked at second bill and seen she didn’t give him pain medicine and he showed no signs of even getting shots which made me wonder ? Because you can’t go back where they do anything ! It was odd and the bill should been less bc he didn’t get as much done as first time , No it was just as much we got him his flu/ Covid shot even bc we love him & 100/ 💯! Don’t want him ill , we did not expose him to no other dogs or cats bc he needed time for vaccines to in his system , The amount of time she spent and the costs and not telling us the first time about the little problem , it upset us , I feel they are not very in it for the pets but for the money , she said he needed a good grooming well we knew that and it’s been done ! But couldn’t do it bc he wasn’t fully vaccinated! I’m not sure I pray if they even have his shots to him second round bc he showed no symptoms at all ! I thought was odd , And didn’t recommend anything for his little nose running or anything! Something to me was off he acted very scared , so we have decided to take him to different vet that does take the time to give the information correctly & be helpful maybe with or if he has allergies or not , you have to care about the pets well being not just collecting the money ! Even b4 they do anything they collect the money , money is no issue we love him to pieces but being told correct information is very important to us and what we can do to give the best care for our puppy , 🐶

We had to have end of life services for our fur baby and could not have asked for a better place that is filled with caring and compassionate people. Our decision was painful but they guided us thru everything and we know we made the right choice.

love the staff. they take great care of my fur baby I wouldn't go anywhere else. they definitely take their time with each and every animal that comes threw their doors to make sure they are receiving the best care possible!!! my dog with be having a surgery soon and they will be doing 4 different things in 1 surgery, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with Mt dogs life!!! thank you Temperance Animal Hospital!!!!

My dog is now blind for life after bringing her to this clinic!This “emergency” clinic ruined my dogs, life forever. I brought her in with an acute eye injury I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes before she was triaged at all, then brought back to an exam room where she was seen by a vet tech. As her eye began to swell and bulge from the socket I begged for a doctor to come into the room to triage and treat her.After waiting in the exam room for another 30 minutes before a doctor came in the entire globe of her eye had come out of the socket And all but severed the optic nerve.Myself being an RN, I told the doctor it would have been appropriate to leave one of her routine exams to come in and have treated the patient as an emergent visitThe doctors response was“Maybe that’s how people are treated, but this is a dog“Absolutely disgusting!

My cat was very ill and I brought him here many times. Each time I felt the techs were good listeners and the vets really cared about my cat. They even reduced my bill a couple of times because I brought him frequently due to his poor health and also because I had a very long wait once. This will always be my first choice to entrust my precious fur babies.

My dog is 4 and had been diagnosed with cancer. We called so many places. They were able to get her in right away and start treatment that didn't include surgery. Prices were cheaper than expected and my dog was comfortable. The staff was very nice and Dr.Smith has been great! Very clean, saw someone cleaning constantly, just overall great experience and my dog will start chemo soon.

We had a sickly kitten dropped on our property. I called around and they were the only ones that could see her quickly. I've since taken her in a few times as she recovered. Everyone I've encountered there has been great. I am moving my other two cats to them. There is a dedicated cat waiting room, which I love. I highly recommend them .

Staff were very patient with me when I called about having my fur baby euthanized. Then going in, they took such care of him and I was allowed to be with him. I have been going to Temperance Animal Hospital for years, they are very professional, kind and caring for your animal. A couple years ago I moved further away from Temperance Animal Hospital but kept going there for my pets needs. Today was a sad day as I had to help my long loved dog cross that bridge to the other side and the doctors and staff at Temperance Animal Hospital were amazing at seeing that everything went peacefully. With the new building we went right into a private room where we could spend the last minutes of our beloved Coopers life as a family, they gave us as much time as we needed. It was beautiful.

Not a good vet, and definitely not the place to go if you have an animal that actually needs help. Used to take all of my animals here for years, but now I won’t even walk through the door for a check up. One of those places that’s clearly been streamlined to empty pockets, and not help animals. Recently my dog Argus 17-1/2 yrs. transitioned to his afterlife with the most compassionate attending Dr. Motoligin and her assistants. We were offered several options, plenty of time to reflect and spend time with our boy. Dr. Motoligin explained everything to us. And then we received an expression of sympathy card signed by all of the techs. as well as Dr. M. Our hearts may ache with our loss but we are comforted knowing Temperance Animal Hospital cares for all of their clients. Thank you so much.
