Very disappointed in their services. Very poor customer service.No compassion shown after passing of my cat. Very uncaring and rude attitude expressed by front desk person when I picked up my cat's ashes. Not one iota of condolences offered by front desk staff upon picking up my cat's ashes. I think they prefer dogs. Coleen is wonderful! She's not the front desk person that I'm referring to!

Definitely recommend, they take their time and don’t rush the appointment like most vets I feel do. Weren’t afraid to actually touch and inspect my dog even got on the ground to get the skin scrapings they needed. Leah was really nice too and was good at calming my boy down.

Exceptional veterinarian care. Warm, friendly staff. You are greeted with smiles and help for your concerns.I'm an owner of 3 very active Doxies. My boys have received all their vaccinations, and healthcare needs from Dr. Tammi Lons for over 12 years. A few of the services my fur kids have experienced are an emergency cesarean section, urgent spinal issue consultation with ASAP Veterinarian Neurosurgery, lab and pharmacy services. Doggy Daycare is available as well, I haven't used this service.I can honestly say I would NOT take my boys to any vet service, Takonsha Animal Hospital does not disappoint. I would also rate this veterinarian and staff AAA+++++.

They have always teken the best care of our pets. If you let them know your on a budget they break down your best option for your pet and still give the best of care too. Honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else.

They let my family and I come in after the day ended to put my dog to sleep in a peaceful and quiet manner. Afterwards the staff sent us a card with their condolences as she had been a patient there for many years.

Every single person in this fantastic animal hospital was so attentive to my dog. It was very stress free and they did a great job on Lucy's surgery. She wasn't happy about the cone but who would be? Lol

Friendly staff, very good with pets of all sorts. Our dog was attacked by two pot bulls a couple of years ago and can be quite skittish in foreign settings. The vets and techs are very loving and caring. Thankful for the care they provide!

Dr. Lons and her staff have been my vet hospital since 1997. Everyone there is very caring. I am seen as soon as possible. I have never been turned away during emergencies. As a breeder of Purebred Salukis, I am thrilled to be able to call them my friends as well as my veterinary hospital/practice. Thank you for being there for me, no matter what day or what time of day.

Dr. Lons and her team are absolutely amazing! We moved to the area 10 years ago and almost immediately, two of our cats got into poisonous plants. Her team treated them, loved on them, cared for them, and saved their lives. Since then, all of our cats have gone to Tekonsha. From anxiety to rectal prolapse to hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, Dr. Lons and her team have taken care of our cats! When something concerning comes up, they always get us in right away. We always feel welcome! Their level of care and love is bar none, and I recommend everyone to TAH!

Got in and out quickly. Everyone was very nice and treated me and my dog perfectly and right in the room. Dr. Emily is amazing and explained all that needed to be done. The technician Rachel was great with him and they arent afraid to get right down with them on the floor. Would recommend going there in a heartbeat as you can tell they all care.

It is hard to find a vet that will treat my german shepherd without acting like she's a giant monster! The whole staff was so nice and the vet explained everything in such detail, it was very helpful. The vet techs showed both my animals so much love! I'm glad I found this vet!

I want to thank this animal hospital. Not only do they take on emergency but they are a great longterm vet clinic as well. They not only treated my 19 year old sweet boy for many years (Helped him pass onto the rainbow bridge as well BIG Shout out to Ginny Sue that day!!!). They currently take care of our other animals as well. They care, they listen, and they love every animal they take care of. They will update you before and after surgeries. They explain step by step everything they do before they do it. They are affordable. They have been wonderful, warm, and friendly with both of my pets. They are all very knowledgeable and reasonable with treatments and problems. They were amazing to me and my pet when my kitty was suffering with a brain tumor and I tried to keep him happy and comfortable, struggling with when is the "right time." I have been with them for about 6 years and have always been happy.

The staff is outstanding; they are compassionate, friendly, efficient, and organized. They notify you of your pet's vaccination dates and make scheduling easy. Evening hours are available, and my dogs actually ENJOY going to the vet!

They were very nice and fast. I never spent more than 15 minutes for the whole visit. They were very affordable and took care of my little Oreo and got her a clean bill of health. Now she has no worries and neither do I! She is a very happy kitty. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

I'll never step foot inside this hole again. First person through the door and staff wouldn't even see a dog who was in dire need to be seen with bad breathing and seizures for the third day straight. Nobody else was there to be seen. The dog was at another vet the previous day. No improvement, so we came to the closest "animal hospital" there is due to it being Saturday morning. Well this so called animal hospital won't see a sick pet. So it's a vetinary hospital that only does check-ups on a 2 week out scheduled basis! Thats absolutely sickening being turned away by an animal hospital. He was just seen by my regular vet yesterday. No morals or ethics at all to be found. Just go to Fort Wayne on a weekend. Stay away from this place.The so called Reply from Tekonsha Animal Hospital to my post above is merely an Excuse for Terrible Business.. Businesses who are supposed to "care about an animals well being no matter what", But Give you nothing But Excuses to not see the animal get the worst of me 👿.All he needed was seen for an hour. He ended up getting prescribed anti seizure meds, an anti vomiting med, and a med for stimulation of appetite. Your staff is and should be more than capable of doing that.The Emergency Place I ended up taking him to, didn't need to look at his med records, even though they Let Me Know They Could see them from his primary care vet. Even in another state, so the fact that you claim you can't is probably false too. Either that or your terribly behind in times as the vets all use the same portal for records and visit documentation now.F.Y.I the place that took him in like he needed, saw him right away, and simply ran blood work when we walked in. They literally needed him for an hour and had him back to @ least 60% stable after fluids through I.v. as wella as prescribing and administering the same meds listed above.I'll never forgive Tekonaha Animal Hospital for this atrocious immorality. Say what you want on here to make yourself feel good about yourself, BUT YOU JUST SHOVED AWAY A SICK ANIMAL, IN NEED OF WHATEVER YOU COULD OF DONE FOR HIM, WITHOUT A SINGLE STAFF DOING ANYTHING ELSE BUT SOCIALIZING! There is No Excuse for this.For anyone who wants to know the seizures and breathing problems have ceased and he has fully recovered ❤️ No thanks to Tekonsha Animal Hospital though.
