Most importantly, our adorable puppy is healthy, sweet, cuddly, fluffy, and at the same time, a little feisty. Update 7/23/23. I just picked up my third puppy from Wynne Erickson/Great lakes Poodles over a five year period.The reason I keep returning GLP is a combination of very healthy puppies with incredibly good/well bred temperaments along with excellent critical stage conditioning. Every puppy I have purchased from GLP has integrated with my family flawlessly. Getting a puppy that is great with people, kids and other dogs right out of the gate is incredibly rewarding.I am one very happy customer.*We've gotten two dogs from Wynne over the past 3 years. The first one was so wonderful we didn't want to go anywhere else. Both dogs have fantastic temperaments, are super trainable, and are very healthy. Highly recommended.

My puppy, Wallaby, is currently six months old. She is more wonderful than I could have ever imagined! She is good-natured, athletic, smart, easy to train, well-socialized, and very affectionate. She does not meet a stranger and loves everyone. We spend a lot of time together daily. I am grateful for Wynne and what an exceptional job that she does preparing the puppies to.transition to their forever home. Wallaby walked on a leash our first go at it and no training was needed. Same with the crate - she was crate trained when I received her. Everywhere that Wallaby and I go people comment that she is the most well-behaved puppy that they have ever met. We go to coffee shops regularly and hang out. She has brought so much joy to my daily life! I feel quite lucky to have found such an exceptional and ethical breeder as Great Lakes Poodles!

I have had four standard poodles but have never adopted one as an adult. Andi (Pandora) who turned 4 in June is a retired GLP breeder. I've had her just a little over 2 months and I can't express appropriately how wonderful this girl is! If all of her puppies have her personality I'm sure everyone is extremely happy! I hoped to have another therapy dog to do visits with at the nursing home. Andi went on her first visit this week and did a great job! I look forward to many more wonderful years and experiences with this beautiful girl.

I'm an old lady & have had only poodles all my life - 6 of them. We purchased our Kofi (was Wyatt) when our 17+ year old poodle passed away.There are no words to express how easy & pleasant the transaction was. Plus....our sweet boy was house trained in less than a week, he slept in his crate through the night with no issues the very first night, he had been taught to behave, travel in a car and he already knew how to play fetch and return. He is SUPER affectionate.Everyone that meets him adores him. He is a phantom poodle and his markings are BEAUTIFUL.I am too old to have another furbaby in my lifetime, but I 100% recomment GLP!!!!!

I decided to get a puppy as a gift to myself for graduating nursing school. After months of research I decided on mini poodle. After more months of looking through breeders sites that were unprofessional and sketchy and almost giving up on getting one, I finally came across Great Lakes Poodles. It was Tuesday February 24 2021. I messaged Wynne and she replied within an hour asking for pics of my yard. She wanted to be sure her pup went to a home where he could be properly exercised and not cooped up 24/7.She called me, and after explaining to her that I wouldn't get my first check until the next week (so I couldn't pay the deposit till then), she still put me on the waiting list! (Fortunately my mom loaned me the deposit so I ended up paying that night, but Wynne was so so friendly and understanding and definitely didn't have to do that.)Over the next several months she updated me on the mother and eventually the pups. In July I visited them at 5 weeks old and got to meet Wynne in person and talk for about an hour. The next month I brought my baby boy home! He has added so much joy and laughter to my family's life and I would recommend Wynne's Great Lakes Poodles to anyone who wants a dog bred by someone who knows the breed inside and out and truly loves what they do.

I purchased a miniature poodle puppy from Great Lakes Poodles several months ago. Our puppy is happy, healthy, affectionate, and energetic. She loves people and has been easy to train. Wynne was also very helpful and generous with her time and knowledge, and clearly cares very much that her puppies are happy and well cared for. The care package was great to have and helped set us up well from the start. I would highly recommend this breeder.

Choosing a puppy always need to start from choosing a breeder! This is our Third poodle, and the best breeder!Wynne professionally organized the nursery and breeding process is clear and open. Updating website with pictures is a great plus.Puppies are raised with a structure! So when I brought mine home, she was already sleeping through the nights and was asking to go outside.Nursery is impeccable clean, puppies have a lot of space to run outside and are taken outside often.Wynne is including packages with all the puppies. At first I did not particularly like it, (we have another poodle and have plenty of "stuff") but it is very convenient, having puppy needs additional supplies. It is great that Wynne allows switching items from the package (she has a complete pet store there)I was utterly impressed with the quality of the nursery and care puppies get. Thank you Wynne, for setting the puppy for success, enjoyment and healthy life!

Wonderful place to find a new family member. Our puppy was awesome from the beginning as the owners of Great Lakes Poodles do so much work before we picked her up. She was acclimated to grooming, almost completely trained to go outside. to potty, we got lots of information on how to take care of her, we feel supported by the owners every day. Anytime we have a question we can ask them. Our puppy is healthy, happy, well adjusted, loves other dogs and people. Really just the perfect breeder. Our Jackson is such a joy and very easy to train. He was obviously well socialized from the start when we adopted him at 8 weeks old. He was the star of his obedience class at only 5 months. We’ve had Standard Poodles over the years, but this is the first Moyen Poodle we’ve ever had and he has far exceeded our expectations. He loves hiking with us and is sociable and all other dogs and cats. He listens and comes when called. He’s a hit with our grandchildren who love to romp with him. We brought our mini poodle Zydeco home a few days ago, and are head-over-heels in love with this good boy! He has such a sweet temperament, loves to cuddle, plays an exciting game of fetch and with his toys, and handled the 3-hour car ride home like a pro! Wynne Erickson and her family does a great job with the poodles they breed, and their home and facilities for the dogs are top-notch and the dogs are well cared for. Wynne has always been helpful and responsive to any questions I've had, and we were provided with all necessary information for the vet. She obviously loves the dogs, and goes to great lengths to provide socialization and crate training before releasing them to new puppy parents. I highly recommend Great Lakes Poodles!

I purchased an apricot / cream moyen poodle (Bonjo) from GLP.My experience from first phone call to picking up the puppy was AWESOME. I live in Texas and decided to drive up and get the puppy. I am so glad I did. I got a first hand look at the operation, meet the owners and meet the puppies parents and was impressed with the entire operation.Our puppy has been home 6 weeks, she's 15 weeks old now. She is an avid swimmer, learning sit, stay and come, and walks on the leash 3-4 times a day logs over 2 miles each day. Bonjo is the smartest and most inquisitive dog I have ever encountered, she amazes me daily. If you are in the market for a miniature, moyen or a standard poodle contact GLP.

The puppy was well cared for and prepared to transition to my care. She was well groomed and crate trained. It’s clear that she was kindly and frequently handled as she is friendly and confident. She went to puppy day care 2 days a week for socialization and the staff are impressed with how smart she is, how well she interacts with dogs and people and how well she is able to read other dogs and adjust her behavior accordingly. She has begun intro agility and is a shining star. I credit Great Lakes poodles for making all of this possible. She is the best puppy ever!!! I recommend them whole heartedly.
