First of all, i am reluctant to voice my opinion about this dollar store here in Swartz Creek because i wouldn’t want to offend anyone. I believe this is very important. First of all I don’t believe there was over two isles you could literally get thru. So cluttered with merchandise, boxies stacked almost as high as the shelves. Things on shelves scattered about, etc. seen one employee, a young man very unkept. Personally he needs to be talked to about his appearance. I love the store have a lot of good things and would hate to see it closed. Needs desperately a manager that knows how to keep it shining.

Run down, not a lot on the shelves and the guy had a hard time making change for a custom. Said he didn't have enough money to break the bill.

Great selection. Dairy and frozen food just inside by the registers. Easy in and out. 3.25.23 went in for supplies to make slim and was in and out in 5 minutes. Great location.

Manager, when approached, very rude and blantently exibited absolutely no interest in answering few questions, as well as young man, who's new and appeared she's training. Very rude and aloof, behaving as though I was bothering her. Time before, couple weeks prior, when shopping there (I'm a regular customer- live nearby, my experience w/ her worse. I had all my items on countertop to check out and she right their, next to cash register, was on the ph ( obviously a personal one, as I was standing there, and cldnt help but hear conversation). She ignored me completely , ( only, glancing at me 2 times, perterbly, as though I was interrupting her conversation on ph, again, obviously not a business call, she stayed inphi for almost 5 min, while I was standing there trying to check out. When she finally hung up, didn't apologize, and, 1 item I had had not tag, so she sd to me, " Run back and get one that has a tag for me to scan", verbatim. There wasn't anyone, other than myself checking out. I will never go back to the Family Dollar in Sw Creek, Mi. to do any of my shopping because of these experiences.

Good for quick party supplies as in cards and gift bags and inexpensive cute gifts. Looks kind of messy and run down but staff is kind.
