Been a customer for many years. Have gone in multiple times with one of my insurance removed from my file for no reason and have had to readd it multiple times. Recently went in with an issue and was repeatedly cut off while trying to explain my situation, was on the phone with my mother in law at the time and instead of speaking directly to me (the human in the room) spoke to my MIL and told her to tell me what to do instead of giving me directions myself, went home with barely any answers.

The best staff. You are always treated with respect. I trust their knowledge and experience. They are flexible when it comes to accommodating winter travelers. They make you feel as if you are their most important customer. Online refills are easy and convenient. I previously had glitches using a mail order pharmacy and even had a serious health issue once because of their misinformation. Never a problem with Hometown Pharmacy! In fact it was correct information from Hometown that corrected the error with the mail order service. Our insurance encourages us to use the mail order service but my husband and I opted to get our prescriptions from Hometown even if it meant a difference in our copays. We have not noticed an increase in our cost and no more worries in getting the right information. It is great to be able to talk with knowledgeable staff without a run around and several “numbers” to press to get there.

I always get great service at this pharmacy. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They do a great job of guiding me to the product I need. They have even mailed drugs to me when I was out of town. They are the best. Also, I have found this local pharmacy sometimes has vaccines that the pharmacies in Traverse City are out of. This last fall I got the senior version of the flu vaccine at Home Town Pharmacy in Suttons Bay when all the Walgreen locations in Traverse City were out of the senior version.

Like a lost puppy of a tourist, I wandered in today looking for ketchup of all things (stupid, I know), and three sweet ladies playfully directed me to where I needed to go. So many locals hate us tourists up here but these sweet ladies were so kind and such a breath of fresh air. Safe to say, I kinda feel like going back tomorrow and just buying whatever to do it all over again.

Great personal service and superb pharmacists. Very helpful with insurance coverage for medications. Happy to provide expertise on new prescriptions. Will contact your provider for a renewal when you need a refill and the prescription is expired. Automated system for ordering refills by phone is extremely convenient and they have refills ready quickly. They also provide many immunizations.

HomeTown Pharmacy in Suttons Bay is the best! I've never found a pharmacy staff so willing and happy to assist. If there's something complicated they always find a way to make it work for their customers. HomeTown's staff is always helpful.

this pharmacy is just so wonderful - it is almost like one of the past where people are friendly and go out of their way to make sure that filling a perscription is prompt and priced correctly. aside from that great service they now have lots of gifty things and items that other drug stores don't have - and the quaint small atmosphere makes it SO easy to shop!Hometown Pharmacy in Suttons Bay is such a gem in so many ways!

At this pharmacy they understand that everyone who comes in is either a patient who may be feeling ill or is a caregiver of someone who is ill. Unlike other pharmacies (even other Hometown Pharmacy stores), here they know your name and care about each patient. The pharmacist will actually stop and come around the counter to help an elderly/confused/ill patient or caregiver regardless of how busy the store is. No question is scoffed at or treated as annoying. They will graciously contact insurance companies with coverage questions instead of throwing it back on the patient. I can’t say enough positive things about their customer service....and when it comes to dealing with sick people, customer service is what matters most.

We travel a lot. Making sure we have all the drugs we need until we return can be complicated. Home Town Pharmacy in Suttons Bay goes out of its way to make sure we have what we need and frequently mails us prescriptions in route. They are the greatest.

Moved from Suttons Bay, so thought I LOST HomeTown Pharmacy service... NOW, 4 years later, we have moved across Traverse City to Glen Eagle... way out 14th St/Silver Lake Road, AND exploring the other day, FOUND THE TC HOMETOWN PHARMACY Shop there in a little shopping center at Barnes Road. I am delighted and my next prescription goes there! Yay!

Coordination by phone to cancel / reverse the order and making a way to get the meds where we were went smoothly and simply. Fastest prescription filling ever, no hassle, they aren't snobby about your meds like most pharmacies are, and they have a really great discount section that just cannot be beat. I hate when I have to go anywhere else. This place is THE best.

This little pharmacy is just a stone throw away from home with all the box store pharmacys have to offer . Shopping at hometown pharmacy is a plus for me and my family as we don't have to drive thru the big city and the headaches it comes with . With all the construction and traffic. Hometown pharmacy Sutton's Bay best little pharmacy in our area located in downtown Sutton's Bay , Michigan. The big plus for us is as soon as you walk thru the doors they know you by name.
