They have new company policies that pop up every other day that make it convenient for them to get out of work. The people at this store are very smug and rude. Please don't take any recycling cans from the state of Michigan here. You're only allowed and maximum of a $25 allowance from the machine and you as one person can only cash in one gift receipt at a time. So if you're like me and you have over 500 cans that you are depositing, since you only do it once a year, you are unable to redeem all of your money at that one instance. Unless you have somebody else with You. Half of my state of Michigan cans did not even get recognized or able to redeem. Very unpleasant experience

The employees working customer service need to be trained how to treat customers and are extremely rude and lazy. Management is a joke, if there is even a manger around. As close and convenient as is, I’ll go elsewhere

The employee was rude. The store is ugly. The experience is terrible.Meijer is literally next door if you want higher quality, a wider selection, and a better experience.Aldi is down the road if you want better prices.

the employees are rude when they get ready to close the other thing is your plain clothes access protection guy is very rude stares at you for no reason at all i work as a security guard and i was an access protection and ur not suppose to follow people for no reason u have to have probable cause to do it. he needs more trained to do his job correctly. but vey bad experience

I have always enjoyed going to this Walmart. It's one of the cleaner and neater of their stores, including the restroom. I think that they have a bit better produce, and a larger variety of foods and other products, because of the competition (Meijer) next door.Unfortunately, yesterday's visit, 3/10/2024 made me sad and concerned.I buy the Tofurky Chi'kn Chunks that are located in the produce department. This Walmart has the lightly seasoned flavor and the Thai basil flavor. I was wanting to purchase packages of each flavor. I check the expiration dates on everything refrigerated that I buy.I had to go through around a dozen of the Thai basil, and found two packages that weren't expired.I then went through about two dozen of the lightly seasoned flavor. I found quite a few that I could buy, and quite a few that were expired.There were dates as far back as November 3, 2023.It appears that the person stocking these just keeps putting new packages in front of the old......for 5 months.I suggest checking your expiration dates when you shop at this Walmart.

I was in town, so I decided to drop by to this Walmart. The main purpose I came here was to purchase dog food, but in the 14lbs bag. (They ran out of it at Walmart, which is closer to me in Indiana). They didn't have it here either. SmhThis is not the first time that I've come to the Sturgis Walmart, and they don't have what I'm looking for. I always see people stocking, which is a good thing. This means that people are purchasing from this store. But to me, it seems like if this store is going to be closing down, or maybe it needs to be updated. This is just my opinion.

The women working at the meat counter fri. after noon, is a pain in my back side. she was rude and so was i. She waited on 2 other people before me and i was there first, so i told her that and she said i need to wait on them first, I have been shopping there before she every stared. She pointed her finger at me, and she one of the slowest people working there. I would have a talk with her and tell her to ask who was first, if she worked for me she would be FIRED.

I went shopping at the Sturgis Walmart and spent around $150 bucks in your location the experience was good till it was time to leave. I work as a professional in the area and as me and my family were leaving we were ambushed at the door by an employee asking for our receipt. Not only did this make me feel embarrassed it was a bad look to the community who seen me stood at the door being checked. I have never stole in my life nor will I ever. My 1st reaction was to argue with the man but I choose to leave instead. I hate the self check outs because of many reasons 1st off I don’t work there nor am I paid to do your staffs jobs, another thing if your going to trust me to cash myself out don’t police me at the door. I felt profiled and singled out really made me feel uncomfortable I shop at local stores to keep the money in the community of Sturgis . This experience made me feel unwanted and unappreciated. My comments to you is how are we going to fix this situation so I am no longer upset because of it? If this is not fixed I will take my hard earned money to a store that doesn’t single me out in front of everyone. I am tempted to do a few things return all my items I bought that day and demand a refund and never shop at your location again. I am also debating blasting this on my social media channel and turning this Over to my legal team for them to pursue legal action for the unnecessary stress and damaged it did to my character to those who seen me being checked like a criminal . This experience happened at 510pm on 10242023. If this isn’t resolved in 3 days I’ll reach out to my legal team and go forward with my concerns. I will also be reaching out to other Walmart in the area to see and get answers why I was treated like I was. Again either give me a W2 for working there most times I shop and trusts me to leave with my stuff without policing me or open up more registers. It is illegal for a staff member to detain me like a police officer to question me about my transaction, I will push charges if I have to unless a fair resolution is found. I am leaving this this up to you and your store director to fox before I go public with my issues. I have a copy of my transcript and ready to communicate with you . Feel free to respond to me via email so there is a paper trail if you plan on calling me be warned the conversation will be recorded for my league team to review thanks in advance. I do hope things get resolved there are several other stores nearby that sell the same stuff you do that do not illegally detain customers and embarrassed them as I was.

Spoiled produce! I usually do my shopping at Kroger, but I made the mistake of stopping by Walmart earlier this evening. I'm a commercial truck driver and needed to do some quick grocery shopping before getting on the road, and I could park my truck and trailer in the Walmart parking lot. When I got home, I immediately began preparing the food I had purchased, and I rinsed off the grape tomatoes that i had literally just purchased. As I inspected them and added them to the dish i was preparing, I found that four of the tomatoes had white mold on them; they had clearly been moldy in the store and I simply hadn't noticed when I glanced at the package. I certainly won't be returning for any grocery shopping, or likely at all.

If you buy any kind of returnable bottles or cans from here the machine will act like they don't sell it the 2 times we have returned bottles and cans we have had cans not get accepted by the machine the 1st time we were able to go to the front seat to get the rest of our returns and now we had 4 people tell us they are not allowed to do that and they will have some one down to the bottle room to assist us and it's been almost a hour and still no one have fixed our issue.Highly recommend if you are some one who needs the money from bottle returns don't come to this Walmart.
