Love that this is a drive through! I am doing "ice cream research" this summer Checking out and comparing "soft serve ice cream chocolate and vanilla twist small" and The Tin Roof really hit it out of the park! Delicious ice cream. The portion size is better than most and the price is most reasonable. Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Yummy ice cream! They have a HUGE banana split boat i might add, i got the peanut parfait which was delicious and It was all reasonably priced. Also we were helped by nice staff. We will return im sure!

Usually this place is pretty good which is why I gave 3 stars instead of 1 for today's experience. Ordered a banana split along with my other family's orders. Took 20 minutes or longer to get it. It was mostly melted. I drank more than I ate. On top of that, there were no bananas even in it. I was going to go back up to the window but there were a dozen people in line and I'm not waiting another half hour to complain.

I’m understand going to a business after it’s closed but when I am in the window a minute before hand and I told the “machines are off” and they turned them off right at 9? Then I’m told when I ask how that’s possible when I got here a minute before 9 and it’s only 9 right now- so then I am told that they shut everything down 20 minutes prior to closing! This is two nights in a row now that they’ve been closed early this weekend!! This is ridiculous and any other place of business would be expected to stay open until they close with the product that they are serving! Guess next time I’ll just pocket my tips

Our first visit to this wonderful neighborhood ice cream shop. Great selection of ice cream creations. There's sure to be something for everyone at this place. Definitely will be back and would recommend.

Hand dipped ice cream tasted of freezer burn and was the consistency of soft serve. Yuck!Our order was messed up and the server blamed me for her mistake. Bad service and bad ice cream equal no return business.

Girls working there are friendly and quick. Business comes in pulses, one minute no one and then a family of 7 shows up. Same grade ice cream as anyone else but have a trash can concoction that I get everytime.

This place has such good ice cream treats. Friendly staff,great ice cream. The only complaint I have about this place is that I wish they were open in the winter as well lol. I highly recommend this place!

Ordered a banana split flurry which my husband orders everywhere he goes. This was not a flurry, it came out like a extremely melted milkshake (can only order large size almost $5). We told the girls on 5/25/18 that it was not right. They said that is how they make them. They remade it, better a little thicker, edible, but still not even close to what it should be like. They were not apologetic, more like annoyed at us. Then my son ordered a boston cooler, he said it was not good either. We will never go back there and will be sure our club doesn't visit them on their ice cream runs during the summer.

We have always loved going to the Tin Roof. Their ice cream makes the 40 mile journey worth it. All the staff were wearing masks, and they we're careful to disinfect counters before and after us. We will be back again.

I was so mad I couldn't see straight, I drove out there from Jackson to get Hershey's cappuccino crunch ice cream because it is my favorite and it is one of the places I know I can get it, went up to the window and ordered one scoop, when I got back to the table and begin to eat it I could tell something wasn't right, I went up to the window and said to the girl is this cappuccino Crunch and she said no, we don't have that anymore, WHAT!!!!!! I said why didn't you tell me that when I ordered it, she said well what I gave you is very similar, what has happened to the character and honesty in our society today? I sure do hope the owner of the Tin Roof reads this. 😤😭😥😫😣

They had their open sign on at 8:10 pm on 9/15/15 but when drove around to order something the two there were cleaning up shop and acted like l was inappropriate to be there and ignored me .I don't mine if somone closed shop if things are slow or whatever at 8:10 pm even if the web site says the open hours are to 9pm thats fine with me , but if your sign says your open don't be a smart ass to a customer .I am glad my wife won't be talking me into getting ice cream for her ever again it was over prived anyway .

UPDATE: I am very sad to say that this summer they've switched to a lower quality Ice Cream (they used to carry Hudsonville). Although it's still a decent ice cream shop, the reason we'd drive out to Stockbridge instead of hitting a local joint was in part the ice cream itself. It's still a fine shop, but not the "OMG you need to go" it used to be.
