Lots of great finds in the store but I am disappointed in the Corporation and can not understand why they treat their staff so poorly when they obviously are dedicated. There has not been air conditioning since the 'REMODEL' took place. There is no room to walk in the store because the employees are overwhelmed with supplies to put away and always short staffed. I walked in again today and walked right back out for the last time. I can not support a business that has no respect for their staff. Love and Peace!PS - the reason there is one star is because I had to pick one. 5 stars for employees and -10 for the business!

The staff are exceptional especially considering how much work they are expected to do!The selection this store carries is amazing considering the size of the store.The prices for the most part are good, some even better than the dollar tree.

It amazes me that there's a dollar general on every corner. And they can't fix their sterling locations AC that's been out prior to the 4th of july. It's clear that their corprate office doesn't care and there employees at this location deserve better. There closed more than their open. Or there hours are all jacked up to where they close way to early.I dont know how your employees can make a living on probably less than 20 hours a week.It sickens me. I know this location is losing business especially being around 5 canoe and tubbing places and camp grounds...YOUR EMPLOYEES DESERVE BETTER AND THIS LOCATION NEEDS TO BE CLOSED.Amazes me it's a brand new building practically and this is how they work.I'll take the scenic route into town and avoid dollar generals peroid!

This place hasn't been open for over a week now. Is it really that hard to fix the air conditioning? Staff is always friendly and helpful, but disappointed in how long its taking to fix the AC!

So gross!!! Saw creepy crawly on the floor wasnt getting close enough too it a few were hanging in some clothes I looked at. Understand this place is a mess. Clothes every where in piles on the floor open packages hidden inside the clothes and why not leave it a mess since the employees don't care. Asked someone about the mess they said they didn't it wasn't their problem

Nice store! it was jammed packed of items. It was sad to see the local store market closed not sure if the dollar general put them out of business. It seems like anywhere you go up North you always find a Dollar General. Some of there stuff is okay quality and others that are junk.

Fair prices, good selection. Some locations staff are cold. Some locations staffs are friendly. We were at kawkawlin and it was clean, and staff member was nice.

Sterling dollar general is a new store and has a large cold section. It's also very organized with a lot of stuff for camping and outdoor activities.
