Super friendly and helpful staff. We bought their Clark and Kensington paint for the first time to paint the interior of our house and it is the best paint we have ever used and we have painted a lot of homes! Highly recommend you give it a try.

Saw that they had a pool vacuum in stock. Drove all the way to Canadian Lakes to get it. Had the associates look everywhere for it, to be told the Manager took it home and was buying it later, which is why it's still showing in store availability. Very distasteful and seems a bit wrong? Thank you to the two associates that TRIED to help. They were kind.

It's always fun visiting Ace Hardware in Canadian Lakes. Always helpful staff on hand to guide and direct you to what you need. Very helpful and knowledgeable answering questions also. It's amazing how much is packed into this hardware store. They also sharpen lawnmower blades, cut keys, fill propane tanks, and also have a nursery selection in tents outside the store. Fishing licenses and bait also available. Nice selection of boating supplies also. Free popcorn available on your way out is also a nice touch!

They have been reworking the store racking which looks like it can hold more merchandise but for some reason is taking forever. You can not find much right now and it’s way way over priced. Might as well drive to Big Rapids

Great selection. They do offer help each time I visit. I dont think they've ever not had or been able to get what I've needed. Highly recommend for hardware, sporting goods and more

Fun to shop "Ace"!! And, finding items you don't think you would find at "Ace". Last year I got a kinetic Spinner that I just love. Who would have thought this item would be in a hardware store!! Browsing is so much fun at "Ace" and finding various items you need is darn great. I have to say: "Ace", you are an "Ace" of a store!!

This place has gone down hill since new ownership. They have been retrofitting the store layout for several months. Very difficult to find anything with merchandise still in plastic bins.

A little cluttered in some areas, Remins me of the good old days and a family hardware that had its quirks. Everyone was helpful and most did interact with guests, and treated you like a neighbot or friend. Great place.

Awesome staff. We had our little boy with us picking out paint and one of the employees took him up front and let him pick out a free toy. Great people!!!

Ace has everything needed! My mother's house has 4 cordless phones for her landline, and Ace had the AAA rechargeable batteries I needed for all 4 of her handsets. My cousin left her key for her luggage lock at home in Arizona, Ace had bolt cutters we could rent. The team is knowledgeable and very helpful!
