I walked right in and was able to get my dogs nails done.. they were great with Harley Quinn, Gus Gus and even Miss Rebel who is terrified of having her nails done. I definitely will be bringing Rebel back for her nails again, along with all my other fur babies 💜🐾

Super awesome place. I was greeted by a smile as soon as I walked in the door of the beautiful and what looks to be new facility. I chatted with the owners for a minute or two and they are both very proud of their work that they do and how they run their business, and it shows. My Pom got a great looking cut and I couldn’t be more glad to Support’s such a great local business in the beautiful city of Sparta.

Our German shepherd Rose does not like going to the groomers or the vets and fights us all the way. Katie has been absolutely awesome with her and we have been 100% pleased with the work she puts in to grooming her, Rose looks, smells and feels so nice when we pick her up. We would definitely recommend Katie to anyone looking for someone they can trust with their fur babies.

This was Rex's 1st time, ever, going to a groomers. He's 4 years old and he's always been bathed and brushed at home. They were SO patient and kind, with him, even though he screamed at her the whole time (he's a shepherd/husky mix). They were able to do everything I asked for plus (I told them whatever he would allow them to do besides what he needed done). He went in looking like a ragamuffin and came out looking like the handsome boy he is. He'll definitely will be back for future grooming. ♥ ☺

This was my 4th grooming place my dog has been to. I can tell ya this is where she will be going till the end of her days. The staff was great, the place was set up nicely. My dog left happy and not hurt bc her nails got clipped short, wasn't pulling hair clumps off her still. She smells great, ears are clean, teeth brushed. She got the works and the price was fantastic for the Quality. This place is nothing short of amazing for your pets. Kudos to The Barkery and there staff!

I love love love LOVE this place! I love the new management! Harley does amazing! The other girls are amazing! I tell them my dog has dandruff, they take care of it. I say she has a bug allergy they sell me a HOME MADE repellent that actually works!!! I will always recommend this place to anyone who wants to take their fur baby to a beauty shop ❤️

This place is amazing! Our dog gets nervous with new people and new settings so we were worried about bringing her to a new grooming location but wow; did we have nothing to worry about. The Barkery is super friendly, inviting, and they do an excellent job. You can tell they care about their work and the dogs. Our dog came out looking like a stand-in from "Best in Show" - in all the right ways. The haircut was perfect, she smelled great, and best of all, she seemed at ease and comfortable. We can't recommend Katie and her team enough! It's so great to finally have a groomer who we can trust. We will always bring our dog here and will recommend to our friends and family as well. Thank you Katie!Edit: It's been over a couple years since we've been going to The Barkery but I wanted to give another shout out to Katie because the most recent cut she gave our dog was the best one yet! She is incredibly talented and our dog looks beautiful. Do yourself a favor and take your dog here for its grooming. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing company, brought Rex, my retired explosive detection dog in today and was very well accommodating, both schedule wise and to my baby Rex, he looks absolutely stunning. I want to thank Kate and staff at Barkery for taking care of a sloppy grooming done elsewhere. I gave them a call and she took him right away and in minutes Kate cleaned up the clipping around private area's (including glands) and clipped his nails and paws and even put a handsome scarf on him. They are the new owners since September 2021 and go above and beyond. Every dog I saw today was perfectly groomed and happy too.

Loved the work they did! My dogs had not been to a groomer in over a year. One was not bad, but the other has such a thick coat and it is impossible to keep up with. They explained what they needed to do, and have a sample board to show different coat lengths. They took time during drop off and pick up. Both dogs look great and were very comfortable with all the staff who loved them up before we left. Thank you!!

I’ve exclusively brought my 6 year old yellow lab, Benny, to see Katie for years! We have been going to the Barkery since Katie took ownership and there isn’t a more caring and wonderful staff. They truly care for your pet when they are in their hands. I have them give Benny the Bathe and Brush every 3-4 months and he stays smelling fresh for days! It also saves me a few vacuums during the week with all the Labrador hair - I notice way less shedding!! We live all the way in downtown Grand Rapids and I make the trip to see Katie and her staff - I can’t recommend them enough!!

My dog Finn was been deemed difficult and unable to have his nails trimmed by his vet unless he was drugged. We came to the Barkery and they were fantastic! They took the time to understand Finn and he did great! The B&B package was perfect. Thanks again to the Barkery for their great work!

I took my boys A German shepherd and Black Lab i got the dates mixed up but they were more than willing to take my boys still even though I got the datss wrong, very reasonable prices, very friendly, also very helpful with my shepherds sore spot that he had. My boys usually don't like the groomers but they loved this place and did amazing. Definitely will be going back!!

I have worked with these groomers before and I have used them for many years. I had a very stubborn and anxious cattle dog/aussie shephard mix they used to groom and they did great with her. And I have a stubborn and sassy husky that they worked with before and currently and they always do a great job with her as well. I have seen them groom just about everything and they always do such a wonderful job! I highly recommend them!!!!

I take my golden retriever here and he always comes back looking amazing and smelling SO good. Katie loves the animals that come to her and my dog loves her too! I recommend her to all of my friends!!
