We just left your store with no groceries or bottles returned!My Husband stood half an hour while I shopped with NO HELP in Bottle Return. When I got to checkout my Husband was livid! He put bottles back in our vehicle & I left our groceries. Will NEVER step foot in your over priced store again! Customer Service was nowhere to be found!

I have been shopping here for almost 11 years now and love it.Last week was exceptional. Had to stop by and pick up pop for my company party and I left my wallet there. I was going insane looking for it because I didn't use any off my credit cards there just the company card. I didn't put two and two together until someone from the store called and said my wallet was there.Everything was still in my wallet and I was very happy there are still honest people in this world. =)

They need to teach there cashiers to actually bag your groceries if I wanted to bag my own groceries I'd go to self check out

It's "convient" 4 sure; however EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE and their produce will rot within 2-3 days after purchase!! This apple was in the bag the day I bought them!! & that was after going thru & putting 3 bags back because I seen VERY bruised ones in those bags!!🤢😬🤢....Most of the 5lb bag was no good due 2 this apple, it's unfortunate, I'm a single mom & didn't have my receipt 2 be reimbursed so I just lost out on that $6 dollars!! 😡

My experience at Family Fare is always positive. They always seem to have everything that I need. The staff is always very cordial and helpful. They have the greatest pharmacy, bakery area, and Produce section. This store is top knotch, and they provide excellent and quality customer service in comparison to other Family Fares. I love the warm atmosphere.

This was one of the bigger Family Gates. It was very nice. Even was easy to find . Fruit was fresh. Shelves were orderly! Reasons were very clean. The staff was very nice and took care with the handling and bagging of my bread, which I'm very picky to make sure it doesn't get smooshed.

Over all store was cleaned & well stocked. But wasn't greeted by anyone in store. I used the self check out & had rude lady behind me who my sonic speed self wasn't fast enough for, scanned her stuff while I was still bagging 🙄🙄

Edit to add 6 years later it’s still a terrible place to shop. Consistency is key and they consistently suck. Check the dates on all of your milk/dairy/meat. Because it probably expired 4 months ago.

I had a problem with an order today I went into family fair and needed cold medicine and Bethany wouldn’t let me buy it for the customer because it’s “age restricted” when my food delivery service takes the customers ID before even letting them purchase it online use your brain Bethany

We refill our gallon jugs with water from the filtered water machine but it's been out of order most of the time this year!!! When you make a special trip to the store for water it's upsetting when you can't get the water.

Throughout this COVID shutdowns I have yet to boycott a business,but after the way I was treated yesterday I am done with this store. The employees are rude and not helpful at all, I've tried to be understanding with what I'm sure they are going through right now but I'm done. Today I stood in line for 45 minutes waiting to get inside to return my cans/bottles. There was only one person ahead of me when I got there and he went in 5 minutes after I pulled up. There is no way he took 40 minutes to return his bags of cans/bottles. I'm sure whomever was in charge of coming to get the next person forgot about us. When an employee came out to get the carts, she apologized in a very condescending manner then told me NOW is not really a good time to be returning cans/bottles. WHATEVER! I usually shop there at least once a week, not anymore. Went to Leppinks in Newaygo last night...returned my cans/bottles with no issue, cashed them in with no attitude and spent another $75 in groceries after that. Also on a side note, the manager offered to walk me to my car because it was getting dark and I was by myself. They now have my business...

This is okay if you just need to pick up a couple needed items but I won't shop there for everything. Produce is less than fresh and chicken and steaks I have purchased were tough and chewy. Not a huge selection of items in general since it's not that big of a store. They also don't enforce mask requirements despite the signs when you come in the door.

We go to family fare alot. We shop between this store and meijer. We buy our salad here, im not a dole fan.The girls love the starbucks at family fare, while i shop they go there.The pharmacy is great here, the staff is always helpful and kind.

Pretty high prices compared to some grocery stores. Oh, you'll need a YES Card in order to take advantage of their deals. In self checkout, you have to scan each item separately and you must place everything, big or small, on the belt. So 12 packs of pop or water, etc.. You can't just scan one item, several times and place it back under your cart, like I'm used to. Inconvenient if you ask me. Other than that, they seem decent.

Love the fresh produce and the deli. Small-town friendliness and good selections. Love the directory provided on every shopping cart so you don't have to wander for hours looking for where the peas might be. I especially like the personal attention from the pharmacy staff. They truly make you feel like one of the family.

Literally everything is marked up compared to Meijer.Location is convenient only because it's the only store in the area. Personally I'll take the hit on gas to save more money in the long run on food.

I've been really dissatisfied with the self check out and customer servicelately. No one is ever around to help which leads to extremely long wait times. The prices are also very high and my yes card does not always take off the advertised discounts. I think more staff is needed at this store to help with customer service. I wish Great day were still around!

One of the only grocery store's that has a regular lane open along with self check out. Never spend too much time in line, usually don't have to wait. The store is also really clean. It's the cost that usually gets me which is why I gave only 4 ⭐'s. Other than that great employees and great selection of food and other necessities.

I really save with the yes card and digital coupons. They also mail me paper coupons for things I regularly buy and text me savings like save $5.00 when you buy $50 or more. Also I really like saving at the gas station. I sent $80.00 and I received a gas coupon for $1.88 a gallon up to 20 gallons. The stores are clean and the staff are friendly & helpful.
