The store is always messy and the customer service is horrible. I went in there the other day and the cashier was so rude to me. I've never been treated so poorly because I didn't read a sign saying the lane was closed and when I left, she made some snide comment to me because I rolled my eyes and she said "nice eye roll". Really? If you hate your job that much, find a new one. It's dollar general lady.

Dirty store. Cashiers not very knowledgeable about their jobs. Can't push a cart down the aisles because they are filled with giant carts and garbage on the floor.

Store is always messy and unorganized. Grab a few items rang the bell had a employee walk to the register. Once they got to the register they literally walked away didn't say a word to me. Waited a little big rang the bell again. Employee say in a rude tone I'll be right with you. Horrible customer service don't see how they are still open.

The staff here are usually really nice and friendly, but I feel bad for anyone who works here. Things are never in stock, and they are unpacking boxes and stocking shelves every single time I come in, but there are still carts with boxes on them in multiple isles. Maybe they are short staffed like everywhere else right now but they need more workers or just new management. The store itself is also just unorganized and things are shoved in random places. I rely on Dollar General for certain cheaper items they have compared to other stores but I want to go there less and less because of the state of the store. Hope things can get better.

Great customer service . Just recently they got a new manager new crew and they've been doing a lot of cleanup when I first went into the Dollar General store 2 months ago it was filthy things in hallway my husband's handicap and he couldn't shop down the hallways. Just went to Dollar General the other day they have a new crew and the place is getting cleaned up I was very impressed with their customer service and their hard work to try to keep the store clean and organized good job I will continue on shopping at the store because they are working so hard to get things cleaned up and it is looking good

This store has cleaned up a lot, instead of being cluttered with everything sitting in the isles not being crowded. I can shop much easier with the isles open and you can see what's on the shelves and how organized. Keep up the great job !!!!

Definitely not some place I go unless running in for 1 or 2 items. Never stocked, or even close. Seems that their not givin enough man hours to do ANY except pull things off u boats...if your lucky enough to see what you need. Not employee fault in my opinion.

This store is an absolute disaster every time I have went in there. It is very dirty, disorganized and they always only have 1 cash register going, making it for a long line to just grab a few items. There are always carts of items in random isles and the floors look like they haven’t seen a broom or mop in years. There are ceiling tiles that are rotted and hanging in spots. My husband and I actually now refuse to buy items fromThis particular Dollar General and take our business elsewhere,as there are plenty of their Dollar Generals that are way nicer! Perhaps this store needs new management to take better care of it.

Have all the little things you need without having to go to a big store. This store however is small and packed with items. Not really easy for disabled person to get around in. All said though the cashier helped me carry my purchases to my car! Never had that done at a Dollar General.

The store was messy with one aisle impassable. Cashier was friendly and quick, even making suggestions to customers she knew. Decent prices, but not huge savings compared to Meijer or Walmart.

Filthiest store always. Big tall carts of whatever all over the place. Can't hardly get to the limited stock on the shelves. Every time I come out of the store I start sneezing. Onlygo there if I absolutely have to.

Convenient to shop at, although this store is always overcrowded with inventory being put on shelves. They go through employees every other month it seems. Current employees seem great! Dollar General in Sparta needs a new building not a bandaid makeover, I'd shop there a lot more if so.

This is a decent store, for when you need something quick. Some of the people are friendly, and others... well act like they don't want ya to be bugging them, or your interrupting their conversations. That part bugs me. Over all ive just accepted to go here just when I need to.

just your average dirty, blocked aisle Dollar General Store, only go there for cheap fines, and some basics at discount prices. If you don't mind dirt, crowded aisle, goods still in shipping boxes, slow service, for an occasional good price on things then this is the place.

This place is a joke. Really dirty looks horrible. The management there is rube doesn't do her job always on her phone in the back FaceTimeing friends always going in the back to eat and leaves her cashiers to do lines of 20+ customers alone. She picks favorites and if you do one thang wrong she makes your job a living hell. That's why so many quit there and there's always new employees.

The Dollar General in Six Lakes is awesome, as they have home decor, food, crafting items at decent prices. Friendly employees. The store is always nice and clean.

Newly remodeled, looks bigger and neater, but the floor is still disgusting. Employees are always talking really loud about other employees when they are not around, and complaining about their job. Nobody wants to hear that!

If I could give negative stars I would. The store was dirty, with products thrown everywhere. There was no social distancing, no limit on amount of people in store, and only 1 employee was wearing a mask.. around her neck like a choker, as she cashed out customers 2 feet away.

The store was a complete mess!!!! (As usual) I was walking around trying to find what I was looking for, I had to go around a huge hole in the floor covered by a cart with 2 very little pieces of caution tape. When are they going to shut this hazardous location down?!

Not the cleanest store but still good selection. You can tell its not in the best area the employees are unprofessional and getto! Do what you will at home but don't bring the getto to work with you. My lord its common sense!

This local DG store takes forever to restock everyday essentials. Not days Not weeks. Months! It's a joke to call it Dollar General when you have pay the higher price of name brand items, if they even have that on the shelves.

I noticed that the store is looking cleaner and more organized!!! I shop here alot and i think if management would give managers more hours to get the extra things done sparta would have a great doller general!!!!!

The Sparta store is usually cluttered. Not enough clerks to keep up with their deliveries. Sometimes you have to yell for the clerk as they are stocking and pretty much on their own. The DG Itself is at blame for this. The workers try but its not enough. The company also regulates their heat and in the winter its like being outside. In the summer I don't think they are allowed to run it. The company is at blame not the employees. Watch out for outdated foods.

The workers were pretty rude and barely cared about what they were doing that they forgot to give us half of our things then we came back to get the stuff they didn’t give she has it on the floor and told us to get it from the dirty floor in very rude manner. Wouldn’t recommend.

Store seems dirty, especially the floors with broken tiles. Stock blocking the aisles, difficult to navigate with a cart. Disorganized, lots of non-clearance items on clearance shelves.

It's hard at times to find what you're looking for. Lack of order. I like to purchase some things at DG just wish they could arrange things better at the Sparta store. Messy..
