Surgery for a foster from Detroit Dog Rescue. They were very kind to both myself and the dog. Very helpful, as this was my first time having a dog with any surgery, but she had 2 major surgeries at the same time. She is doing Amazing Now!!

Thank goodness I found Greenfield! The entire staff and doctors are simply awesome. I had to put down my “Mentos” 20 years old and they gave me so much time throughout the process along with the emotional support needed. My Daisy girl is now a patient with the practice🐾💕.

After two misdiagnoses and lots of vet bills, we decided to try out Greenfield. Many of our friends and colleagues had great things to say about them and I have to agree. Their staff was caring and kind, our cat was very comfortable there. The same day, we received the correct diagnosis and medication. He is feeling much better! For a urinalysis, Greenfield was a whole $200 cheaper than the last vet we went to.. wish we had gone here all along. It was also very fast and easy to make an appointment. We were seen just a couple days after calling. Thanks so much for the expert care; this will be our go to from now on ❤️

My cat has a history of kidney disease, but when he stopped eating and looked ill last week the vet I had previously been going to wasn't going to be able to see him for at least a week. I had heard about Greenfield from the Ferndale Cat Shelter (my mom recently adopted a cat there) and when I called I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day.The staff member who I spoke with to schedule was very kind, and I was impressed with the exam rooms designed for cats. Gabby was the tech who worked with Lenny, and she was wonderful. She took a very thorough history and truly cared about helping Lenny feel comfortable. Dr. Martines saw Lenny, and I was very impressed with how thorough, kind, and caring she is. Lenny needed to be started on subq fluids, and Tracy (I think that was her name) was very helpful in teaching me how to administer them. The quality of care provided to Lenny has been over and above anything I've experienced previously, and I can't say enough positive things about Gabby, Dr. Martines, and Greenfield Animal Hospital.

I've really enjoyed taking my cat, Ahsoka, to Greenfield Animal Hospital. We are new to the animal hospital, but I think we've found our permanent place for her.The lobby is always clean (and I love seeing Puff Daddy the puffer fish, so does Ahsoka when she's not being extra) and my wait time to be roomed with my cat is usually very low. They also have a variety of treats and calming pheromone sprays in the room. My one request is that they carry some hydrolyzed options for allergy kiddos! If your pet is on an allergy diet and needs treat reinforcement at the vet, be sure to bring some of your special ones with you!I've seen Dr. Schencopp and Dr. Doolin, both very caring and thorough. They've taken the time to listen to all my concerns and questions and also let me participate in the appointment (Dr. Doolin so kindly let me use her stethoscope to have a listen at a murmur for myself) and they genuinely seem to enjoy spending time with my dopey cat.I find the deposit system a bit odd because I've never been anywhere that does that for surgery or first time visits, but also recognize that in the veterinary industry no calls/no shows are prominent and a waste of time where another pet could be getting quality care. So overall, I support it. Just be aware that if you're new you have to pay a deposit for your first visit, and if you schedule any surgeries or dentals you will also need to pay a deposit for those visits. Their cancellation and reschedule policy is very reasonable though, so don't worry about losing money if something comes up.Overall very happy with my new veterinary home. Makes the 30 minute drive worth it! Well, Ahsoka doesn't agree, but we will discount her carrier grumpiness. Once she gets there she feels right at home.Oh also their social media is really fun to follow on Instagram, so many cute babies posted, so be sure to follow them there and Facebook too for all the best puppy/kitten pictures and good free advice.

We recently moved to Detroit and needed a new veterinarian. Greenfield was highly recommended across a few platforms. They were able to complete a new patient exam and complete every vaccination needed the day after I called. I was then able to bring him back for a grooming appointment and quite frankly he looks amazing- I didn't know my dog could have a fluffy bottom! I was anxious not wanting to try multiple veterinarians, but now we don't have to!

Greenfield only cares about money and that was obvious after a few recent visits. I've since closed my account due to the way I was treated. They blame the owner when they can't afford to come back after spending $1k already. If you care so much about their health, then do the service for free. No? Then get off your high horse. It's pretty obvious what they're doing here and the way they act like it's to help is disgusting. You can't have it both ways.PSA: Those looking for affordable vet care, please check out APAWS Vet Hospital in Eastpointe. They are a nonprofit and actually care about animals and not the money! My recent visit was 85% cheaper than Greenfield because they didn't oversell me. I wish I went there originally but at least now I know.Edit to respond:My statement about providing free service was facetious, I did not want nor expect that. What I wanted was to be respected as a client, which you failed to do. Instead of treating me like I was lesser because I couldn't afford a return visit (a day after spending $400 there), maybe actually offer solutions? You could have communicated concerns and spoke with me about alternatives? Maybe mention local nonprofits, humane society, etc. But no, instead you bully your clients until they feel like they have to pay no matter the cost. When someone says they need time to save up money for the next visit, just say okay and go about your business until you hear back. Do not shame and blame the client for the inability to pay immediately.

Our girl Penny developed some anxiety at the vet as a puppy, and we decided the switch vets at 2 years old so we could try to re-structure her experiences and decrease the dosage of anti-anxiety/sedatives we give her prior to appointments. I did some research on offices in the area that take extra steps to make anxious dogs feel more comfortable. This place is great! They cleared the office before she came in so she didn’t interact with other animals, they gave her lots of yummy treats, and didn't force interactions/let penny come to them when she was ready. For her vax appointment they even came out to our vehicle to administer her vaccines where she felt a lot more comfortable! We aren’t off of the sedatives, but the staff is wonderful with helping us strategize how to make Penny’s experience the best it can be!

My pets are new “customers” I went INTO the office and made 2 appointments and a grooming appointment. I’m glad I did. The office was very clean I saw 2 girls cleaning the waiting room twice! Very cozy waiting room-nice fish tank which was also very clean 🙂 The girl I spoke with at the front desk was very knowledgeable and helped me with all the things my dogs needed- no confusion. Our first vet visit was VERY thorough. Dr Sewick and Heidi sat on the floor and made my nervous nelly terrier so comfortable. They answered all my questions. Very efficient. Then I got a tour of the facility! I’m very pleased with my first two interactions. Thank you.

Jasmine is my first puppy after a long time and Greenfield makes sure that I dont feel bad or guilty with the “teething problems” that come with being a new pet parent. They are always compassionate and supportive, making sure to put both Jazz and me at ease. Highly recommended.

We rescued our pit mix 12/26/22. After clearing up the kennel cough, parasites and ear infection, his personality really started to come out...good and bad! He is a very sweet and affectionate boy, but he started to display aggressive behaviors towards me and my husband. Our other vet was not able to address these behaviors and stated we needed to work with a trainer and a veterinarian behaviorist. The trainer referred us to Dr. Sewick at Greenfield Animal Hospital and she and her team (Chelsea, LVT is great) have been AMAZING!!! It is still a work in progress finding the right combination/dosage of medications, but Weller has not had an aggressive episode in over a month! Dr. Sewick is very knowledgeable, patient, takes as much time that is needed during a visit (never seems rushed to get to another patient), and is very understanding. She has also been very accommodating to address our needs over the phone. I highly recommend Dr. Sewick and Greenfield Animal Hospital.

Greenfield Animal Hospital and its vets and vet techs do an amazing job at accommodating my reactive and fearful dog! She is terrified of the vet and it has made it so much easier on us both to have a vet practice with amazing staff who understand and do all they can to support reactive dogs.

The entire staff here is amazing, competent, and friendly. I had to find a new vet for my 11 year old German Shepherd in the midst of the pandemic when her other vet (the only one she ever knew) retired. I am so impressed with the care she has been receiving. She turns 13 this week and I have never written an Google review before, but I had to say thank you to the staff here for treating my girl so well.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about this place and had intended to make a switch, but sometimes inertia wins. However, when a serious concern came up with my dog and cat, I called because my other vet couldn’t get us in for nearly 2 months. Greenfield offered us an appointment the following week, for which I was so grateful. We’ve been to Greenfield once so far and it’s been much better than at my previous vet - from scheduling, to communication (they offer phone, text, and email which is so helpful) to how the waiting room is set up, to the care and treatment from Savannah and Dr. Sewick who got on the floor with my sweet anxious senior doggo. They were gentle, patient, kind, and thorough. I’m very pleased and would highly recommend GAH and wish I had made the switch sooner.

Greenfield animal hospital has taken great care of my two dogs for the last few years. Today I had an experience there though that finally prompted a review. I had to take my almost two year old with me for my dogs well visit. Both the dog and the toddler were behaving poorly. My dog was so anxious she peed while Dr. Doolin was examining her. Both her and the technician Ashley were so kind, and Ashley even brought in an extra stethoscope and a toy dog for my daughter to also play doctor while the exam was happening. They made my day by being calm, kind and understanding. Thanks to you both

A bit concerned that the Pet app and text message had my grooming appointment for Monday, September 26. However upon arrival I was told my appointment was for Wednesday, September 28. Some type of app problem, I was told. I just hope that it gets corrected because many times working people have to arrange their work schedules to accommodate available appointments. Fortunately, Liz was able to work Chewy into her schedule for the day, otherwise I would’ve had to return on Wednesday, the 28th. I so do appreciate Liz being able to make the addition for something which was not my error. Liz did a fine job with Chewy!!

My dog has been going to Greenfield Animal Hospital for the past 2+ years for all of his care. Yesterday I took him in because I noticed something going on with one of his eyes. Long story short, the veterinarian prescribed him a prescription eyedrop for a mild case of conjunctivitis. I noticed once I got home that the prescription I was given expired in January 2024.In hindsight I should have looked. When I was in the examination room the veterinarian informed me that she was sending us home with a prescription ointment for his eye, however, when we got to the counter to check out, I was informed that the prescription was changed to a drop to make it "easier" for me. Now I know it was likely to purge these expiring drops.Anyway, I phoned the office to see about getting a fresher bottle with an expiration date further out and they rudely refused stating that my dog was only prescribed for 7-10 days and what was provided was sufficient. Not the point! If this issue comes up again, or if it spreads to his other eye requiring that the eye be treated, which I was told could happen, I will have to repurchase the same drop! That's absurd to me. The girl then went on to try to tell me how dangerous it could be to use this drop if my dog had a scratch in his eye as if I would try to self-diagnose him for a totally different condition. The entire exchange was extremely offensive and completely unprofessional. Additionally, this was the second time I was given a prescription nearing expiration, the last instance I purchased a year supply of flea and tick prevention and had to return a box because it expired within months of receiving. This wasn't noticed prior to being dispensed to me.Yesterday I left the office paying $619.00 to Greenfield Animal Hospital. Examination $75; Annual Bloodwork $105; Heartworm Test $68; Yr Supply of Simparica Trio $352; NeopolyDEX $19 (expiring in Jan 2024). I will be finding a new veterinarian office. If you choose to take you pet to this office - the vets are great - PLEASE check the expiration dates of any prescriptions you take prior to paying or get them filled elsewhere.

Slightly misleading billing practices. great staff and service but please discuss your pet’s services in detail before agreeing to anything. Evie, the office manager, needs to work on her professionalism and customer service skills if she wants to keep her long time clients around.

My husband and I brought our newly adopted rescue dog to them as he was experiencing some behavior issues. They were EXTREMELY supportive and are reaching out to the rescue organization and the trainer who will be working with him so we can all work together to give this wonderful dog a much deserved wonderful life. The doctor actually sat on the floor with him so he felt comfortable. The Vet Tech that was there was outstanding as well. Love this place!!

A++ - Attentive, accepting, and actively involved in making sure your fur baby’s needs are being met in a biopsychosocial and behavioral way. We’ve been going here for nearly three years - even after moving 45 minutes away. They have such a kindred and loving staff that wants nothing but the best for your pets - reception, techs, and veterinarians alike. Even through the “shelter-in-place” order, their standards of care (for both pets and people) and their adaptability in meeting those needs went above and beyond. They’re always available for questions and consultations and are very flexible whether we need a prescription refill or a puppy weigh in or to reschedule an appointment. I was recommended this place when I first got my rescue pup by three different people. There is definitely a reason for that!

Exceptional service. These people have mastered the art of exemplary customer service! Dr. Jackman is such a dedicated, concerned and thorough veterinarian. My puppy simply gravitated to the staff. Yes, they are THAT welcoming. I highly recommend this place to anyone with a "furry". Your pet will feel at ease, at home.hey, take a look at the first thing you see when approaching the building. How cute and welcoming is that?!

The care and consideration they have for animals is admirable. The staff go above and beyond to accommodate my cat Ramone and answer any questions I may have. Ramone is a sassy boy at the vet and they take such good care of him. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to the staff at Greenfield animal hospital. We are so grateful for you.
