As of today, Dollar Tree gets a 5 because they updated the store. 1). The floors look great. 2). The shelves are very neat and organized. 3). They added new products and brands. 4). They expanded the food, decor and seasonal items. And the workers are generally nice. NOTE: Before today, the store was junky, floors dirty and cluttered (boxes all over the place). PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE CUSTOMERS*** HELP KEEP THIS STORE CLEAN AND PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU GOT THEM (If you’re not going to purchase them)!!! Thank You!!! It’s not just a store anymore, it’s an Experience!Note: The store cleanliness is headed in the wrong direction - let’s keep it Clean people!!!

Be careful using the self scan station at this dollar general ..I last used my ebt card at this location on March 17 around 6:31pm I swiped my ebt card and left the very next day someone were able to withdraw over 1100 in food stamps off of my card ...the scammers are skimming and putting things into the payment devices that will show the pin number you used as well as card number ..and that person used 1100 at a canton Sam's club the very next morning around 9:36am I was nowhere near canton and don't have a Sam's club membership..I had to file two police reports I'm just warning others so yall won't fall victim like I did ..ppl out here is shady as hell

I would give a 5 but, I have one small issue. I just left this location, me and my mother come in almost everyday. We speak to management, we are regulars. There is a lady their right now on register and someday nice some not so. It's only 2 women that force you to pull out your ID. She was so rude. I told her "you ask for the ID and you know my age. I've seen her not ask the customer before me then smiles and says ID. Games at work.I understand that you ID. The management don't do it because he said I know you your a regular.You must be careful these days. I tried to explain she raised her voice loud and said go to corporate. Nah, Google better! What's up owner! I buy a mad dog orange and a 2x Dutch berry everyday. Cory is the man! Pls give him a raise. Be blessed. When you ask the customer how you been, their a regular.

This store has changed. The cashier charges 1.98 each for 3 packages of peanuts that clearly state the price of 1.29 on the front, each not 1.98 each. I didn't notice this on my receipt until i arrived home smh...

I've shopped at this location for many years. Although the store could use a larger space to accommodate their inventory...I am impressed with the courteoussness and professionalism of Corey, the store manager. His dedication and willingness to offer great customer service is an asset to our community.

It's dollar general... you know what kind of experience you're getting at dollar general lol. That being said, the elderly man at the register was extraordinarily kind and mild mannered. He brought a moment of calm to my hectic evening which did not go unnoticed... I hope he sees this and if he does, thank you! Giving it four stars cause the crowded spaces made me want to give it a three, but the customer service earned them an extra star. Thank you

About what you would expect. Waited in a single line to check per cashier's orders, then they opened another register and took the people at the back of the line first. We'd heard next in line for over 20 minutes and then the manager(?) cuts to the back of the line?

Working with Dollar general for first experience was unprofessional. The store manger couldn't understand or property talk the employee. When you on a schedule 2 days out of a week. It's hard to survive when you have a family. Also as a manger you suppose to care about the employee when something is wrong with the employee and when it's a family situation. The store manager states he's doesn't care and more

Been going here for years always have a good staff very professional. Need to have more people on duty because it seems like the cashier is putting stock away and attending the register at the same time,with that said the staff maintains a good attitude in spite of putting stock away and attending the cashier 👍

Very unprofessional and not knowledgeable on their coupon policies. Staff needs to be trained on how to provide good customer service. The store needs to change it's closing hours via public domain, online the store closes at 11pm. While I was in the process of purchasing my items I was miss in formed on how DG doesn't except more than one coupon per transaction and how I needed to hurry up they closing. The last time I was there, right after I paid for my items the cashier took his hand, waved his hand at me and not to say good bye. Just Rude. The men employees give the store a bad reputation and bring the morale down. Cont. Paris, the manager who rudely told me hurry up and buy the night before closing not only rudely greeted me the following after noon while I made a return, for my own personal reasons couldn't fathom why I would want to return an item and re purchase it, gave him the right to retain the item I wanted to re purchase so I could utilize all my discounts that weren't given prior to, called the police for no good apparent reason, he had personal issues with me repurchasing the item, I guess, told the staff to ignore me when I asked for the district managers name, lied to police, told them and he asked me to leave the store, and I asked why was it necessary to call the police he lied to me and said he asked me to leave, the police show up for no good apparent reason, Paris then banned me from returning to the store. What right does he have to abuse his title as management and or authority, causing unnecessary grief, embarrassment, and humiliation to respectable customers like myself.

Absolutely filthy store!!! From floor to ceiling. There’s so much unpacked stock in the aisles you can’t search for products. It is a shame. This area used to be great for the City. Going down fast.

It has everything you need, prices can be a little steep, wouldn't consider this a dollar store as much as I would a convenience store. They have name brand food, snacks, cigarettes, even cell phone plans, gift cards, and even some clothing and other basic necessities. Not bad if you need it.

Great place to work and shop for virtually every product you need. The products range from toiletries.. office products.Beauty and kitchen items. Clothing and other house needTelephone accessories... greeting.cards..And they are cheaper than others in big shopping complexes...

Quick stop convenience stop with affordable prices. I usually go when I really don't have time to go to the larger stores. They're fridge items contain most of the usual products such as milk eggs and cheese.

I just left this Dollar General. The store is not organized. It looks like it was hit by a tornado inside. Empty shelves,boxes blocking the isle. Didnt have any stock of Scott Comfort Tissue that was advertised for a sale that started today December 29 2019. How can they advertise something that clearly was not on the shelves. I would not recommend this particular Dollar Gerneral to anyone who likes a well stocked and organized store to shop in. I would give 0 stars but couldn't because the rating dont go that low.

dollar general should check IDs of the people who use stolen debit cards they let a theif steal money from a army veteran debit card without even check for I'd dollar general failed to stop this person instead they let fraud happen warning to all southfield residents keep your credit cards protected there is a theif in southfield who is getting away with fraud that needs to be caught

Worst dollar general ever!! Very cluttered, Rude staff!! No order in the store line whatsoever, I asked a clerk where did the line start he said he did not know! Items are stocked incorrectly horrible customer service They dont even deserve 1 star! I'll take my hard earned money elsewhere.
