I was New to the area, looking for a groomer in July. I simply asked for a summer cut, my Shih Tzu has a really thick coat. The groomer was friendly initially, but demeanor changed once she started grooming the fur babies. My dog was cut and placed in a cage where she intended for him to stay until she was ready to call. I arrived to find my pet looking like an alien, her idea of a summer cut was to shave his legs too! I was horrified as to who would do that and Why? Businesses are often destroyed by the ppl hired to do the job of grooming.Save yourself some grief and try another salon! 😡

Took the family dog (Bichon Frise') to Doggie Styles Pet Salon in Southfield, for the first time, for her routine bath & grooming, and they did not disappoint. Jennifer and her crew handled their business & did an excellent job grooming our furry friend. In fact, their grooming was better than expected & our furry friend looked just as good as she did from the first day that we brought her home. Kudos to Doggie Styles for a job well done! 🐩

I brought my long haired Chihuahua here today for the first time. The groomers were so nice and so loving with the dogs. It is cage free and when i went back to pick Annie up they showed me a video of her running all over and playing with the other dogs. We will be back!! Thans Ladies

My dogs were new customers. Jen and the gal who groomed my dogs were very friendly. They handled my temperamental terrier just fine. He was calm and good for them to my surprise. I was on a schedule and had to be home by a certain time. They accommodated me. I was so pleased. They even called and asked if I wanted to come in 2 weeks earlier due to a cancellation they had. From the moment I contacted them on the phone to make the appointment I just knew they were going to be great. Thanks for doing such a great job on Duke and Indy 🐶🐶

The owners are very nice and responsive. They were able to fit my dog in super quickly before the holidays which I was so thankful for. They explained everything they were going to do prior to me leaving. They did an amazing job on my Newfie and I will absolutely be going back.

Just brought my recently adopted poodle in for his first grooming since he's been with us. The ladies in the shop were all very nice, straight forward with me about a quote, and-- best of all-- they were able to fit us in to their schedule when 3 other groomers I called said they were booked up through the holidays.My once scruffy little guy now has a nice, tidy haircut and I can't believe how soft and fluffy his coat is! Thanks for the great work ladies!

I've been coming here for about 15 years, so that should tell you something. Jennifer, is absolutely a wonderful person who has a way with all of these animals. We are all human and have our days and with that being said I have never ever seen Jennifer, mean, nasty or rude. They do an absolutely amazing job on these 🐕 they look good, smell good and the bandana is icing on the cake. I don't think she would have been in business this long if she wasn't good and didn't care! Love you Jen. PDE

Always great service. My first dog Travis went to doggie styles and when we pulled up to the salon he knew the salon and he was so happy. The owner Jennifer was his favorite he left me to get to her he was so loveable he has passed on but now I have TJ and he does the same thing. Bring you dog here you will be very happy great staff, and great dog cuts. 😁😁😁😁😁😉😉😉I will be soon informing the public why I no longer support Doggie Styles Pet Salon after 13 years of being a Loyal customer coming soonWow how things can change in a matter of moments I really cherished and loved this facility only trusting two of my most precious docs to this facility Doggie Styles I promised that I would tell what happened and now my story will begin I brought my dog to Doggie Styles and he had received a great haircut however one of the staff went too far on the nail instead of stopping the bleeding and then informing me that the nail had been cut a little too short Doggie Styles gave me my dog bleeding and did not call nor did they apologize looking at the overall I really feel that this dog salon does not respect the longevity of their clients I would have never said anything negative but giving me a dog that was bleeding and not even apologizing and explaining to me how to stop the bleeding on my dogs paw was unacceptable I called Jennifer and informed her if in fact the bleeding did not stop I would take my dog to the dog hospital and I would be sending her a bill instead of apologizing and explaining how to stop the bleeding she decided never to groom my dog again I never said it in a disrespectful manner because of the relationship that I felt that we had with the salon I cannot tell you not to bring your dog to Doggie Styles however I can say that I felt discriminated against because of my nationality and disrespected so bring your dog to this facility at your own risk now I must find a doggy salon that will give my dog the attention and respect that we deserve being a client and in hopes that becoming a long-term client with the next dog salon I hope will be a pleasant experience I clearly feel that Doggie Styles pet salon is unprofessional uncaring and disrespects to therer clients if they feel that you are not giving them what they deserve I pay my bill I get my dog on time but apparently that wasn’t enough I feel Jennifer is very selfish and she’s OK as long as you’re not complaining but again I’ve been a client for 13 years two dogs and as soon as I speak up as an African-American woman she decides not to groom my dog moving forward no explanation just blocks me from calling her and not returning any of my calls so disrespectful so now I’m informing the public of her behavior towards her African-American clients that decide to speak out on a mistake that has been made by her and her stafe not taking ownership of her mistake and not dealing with her staff accordingly and apologizing to her client but again you have to judge Doggie Styles for yourself I cannot take her ability to groom your dog I think her grooming abilities are fantastic but her attitude and the way she treats her clients by the mistake that her and her staff makes I feel is very poor so again bring your dogs here at your own risk and yes I feel discriminated against because I don’t think she would’ve sent someone else’s dog of another nationality out bleeding and not calling them and taking ownership of her and her staffs mistakes so yes I do feel discriminated against

Absolutely wonderful service! My dogs were sprayed by a skunk at 5:30am, called them at 7:30an, dropped the dogs off and by 3:00pm my dogs smelled great! The ladies there worked a miracle on two stinky Labs. They were allowed by in the bed with us that night! Highly recommend them!!!! Very nice, professional operation and they truly care for each and every pet that they groom.

We had a huge disconnect on what we wanted our dog to look like. Not worth the $65 at all. We have a mini goldendoodle. We were looking for a trim. Other places have used their largest clippers on him and it allowed for him to still be "fluffy". Today we picked up our dog, and he was completely shaved down. I specifically asked that the dog not be shaved down to look like a poodle and that he remain "fluffy". He looked like someone in training attempted to groom him. When we explained we were not satisfied the owner immediately went on the defense. I couldn't believe how unprofessional. Ultimately she reimbursed us less than half. Enter at your own risk. Many other better options available in the area.

These women are the best. Drive pass this place daily its about 1mile from my home never stopped until 2weeks ago. Got an appointment 1 week later and love my fur baby hair cut. 😍

I actually stopped taking my Yorkshire terrier here a few years ago. The groomer that serviced us was very rude. She looked exhausted and had a terrible attitude. When I picked up my dog she appeared fine but as soon as we got home there were blood spots everywhere because the groomer had cut my dogs nails way too short and her paws were bleeding. I will never trust this company with my dog again

Jennifer and the staff were amazing! I was able to walk in for a nail trimming for my two dogs and be seen right away. I would definitely recommend and will use their services in the future.

I have had a wonderful experience here on a regular basis for three years or so. I have a labradoodle and she is always groomed beautifully, the length I request, smelling fantastic. They brush her out well and I can actually go longer between grooming appts. then at other area groomers I tried before my vet recommended Doggie Styles. I would like to thank Barb who groomed Molly, and I always enjoyed the warm welcome from everyone. I moved to Traverse City this week and do not look forward to finding a new groomer. Molly and I will miss you all, thank you for taking such good care of her:)

The owner of this establishment was horrifically unprofessional. I should have known there was an issue when she was eating cake for breakfast -with her bare hands. Whoever groomed our dog must have been in training. I suggest as least doing a google search and review all the pet salon options available in the area.

After finally saying "enough is enough" we left our previous groomer and called up this Pet Salon -- right from walking in the door I knew we made the right decision - friendly and professional staff - and the results for our girl Mae were exactly what we asked for - so happy to have found our go to groomer -

One day I will eventually find this place open, or call and the mailbox not be full....one day I will have my dog groomed here...one day. UPDATE. Several month later I TRIED AGAIN and they were closed by 2pm. She calls me 3 days later to argue with me about when I came and how she works for free so she won't stay. ABSOLUTE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. This lady was so rude. Please yell at me more.
