Called the pharmacy- this was a 5 minute call using the automated system. When the pharmacist answered finally at 1:29pm, he said they are going to lunch until 2pm and hung up the phone. He did not ask what I was calling about or care how long the call was to get to him, he just hung up.

Upon looking at previous reviews, its not just me. The blonde, tall lady pharmacist has the worst attitude and talks to people like they're beneath her. I called with a simple question and she cut me off. Told me the supervisor was busy with "other stuff." Lead pharmacist Karam, was just as rude. Asked for her name and he lied and said he couldn't give that information over the phone... I know this is not true because corporate says they're allowed to give first names. I've filed a formal complaint and I will never deal with these people again. With her attitude, she should not be filling prescriptions for anyone. I don't trust her at all.

I have to say I was both stunned and upset by the treatment I received at the Southfield/13 Mile Road CVS by the pharmacist 'Cory'. I was bringing my husband home from Beaumont Hospital and stopped to get his pain medication. He had his shoulder replaced the day prior and I didn’t want him to be too uncomfortable when we arrived home. I waited in line for almost 15 minutes to even see an associate. She informed me that the wait for his prescription would be at least one hour. I explained about my husband’s surgery from the day before and wondered if at all possible to have the medicine sooner because he was still sitting in the car and in quite a bit of pain. She went to ask the pharmacist Cory if they could help me out. Cory came over and talked with me. She was not helpful, not compassionate, and was quite rude. She said other people have prescriptions that need to be filled too and I would just have to wait. I explained that I don’t normally ask for special treatment but this was circumstances that were different. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving a post-surgical patient alone. She told me that she wasn’t going to fill it then and I would need to return in one hour. I asked if in one hour if it would be ready and she said yes. I drove my husband home and dropped him off. I then drove back 70 minutes later and again waited in line for another 15 minutes. Guess what? The prescription wasn’t ready yet. The associate checked with Cory and she said it would be another 25 minutes. I had to leave my husband alone even longer waiting for the prescriptions that she promised would be ready. I hope that if Cory or someone else that she cares about doesn’t have to go through the same unprofessional service I experienced. I will never return to that store and I highly recommend that others find a new location. I was truly stunned by her lack of care.

I came into this CVS on a Sunday after having to go to urgent care due to being in a great amount of pain after contracting a severe case of poison ivy. The PA at the urgent care instructed me to begin taking the medication as soon as possible. After waiting at this CVS pharmacy (although there was not a line), I was greeted by someone who explained they needed more information from the PA. I contacted the PA who was ready to discuss this with the pharmacist who then refused and said that the PA will have to call and leave a voicemail on the pharmacy phone. Despite saying that multiple times, the pharmacist was not helpful in providing me the phone number the PA needed to call. I was continued to be greeted with eye-rolls, sighs, and rude behavior. The pharmacists at this CVS were not friendly and did not appear to be trained in kindness, compassion, or customer service. I ended up having the prescription transferred to a Rite Aid which filled it almost immediately. I will NOT be returning to this pharmacy and DO NOT recommend it to anyone in the future.

Maribel and Mavis both go above and beyond to kindly assist at the CVS located at 13 Mile and Southfield Roads. I hope they never stop working there!

This is the busiest CVS I have ever seen. They closed a couple stores nearby, and this store got even busier. Thank you Pharmasist & Staff! You guys are great.I don’t understand the negative reviews. If it takes an 1-3 hours to fill a prescription, that’s how long it takes. Employees don’t have a crystal ball or a wand. They can’t magically fill prescriptions faster…

Always so slow and rude service. Pharmacy drive through for the first time waited 10 minutes and cashier would only help window line even though it said pull to either lane. Need new managers who will address their staffing issues.

Called twice- was on hold for over 10 minutes each. It’s fairly obvious they don’t give a care for customers or their needs.

As a provider's office working with many pharmacies, this has to be the worst experience I have encountered in 6+years. The pharmacist, Corey's, care less attitude is offensive. I can see why this pharmacy is rated so low. I will encourage my patients to be serviced anywhere but here.

The pharmacy department is the most rudest, unprofessional group of people I've ever encountered. I went to pick up my meds and the girl at the counter told me to step up. I came to the counter and she proceeded with name, birthdate, no hello how are you, nothing. After my transaction, I was just flabbergasted at how I was treated. So, i just stood there and she said "what"? I said "and your not going to say thank you"? And she said "NO"Because of legal matters that's all I'm going to say. However, I'll leave you with this...if this is how they treat you, think about how concerned they are on getting your medication right, I'll even, take it a step further, do they even care. Avoid this place, and this is more then customer service, it could be your health your gambling with..

Pharmacy is over busy. There are not enough people working behind the counter to serve both the drive thru lane and customers in the store. I have waited as much as 30 minutes to pick up a prescription that has already been filled.

Pharmacist ’Cory’ sp? Couldn’t have possibly been any ruder!!! Made us wait an hour for surgical pain meds, then when we returned it took another 1/2 hour. Never go here if you value kind and efficient pharmacy service.

Manager refused to allow me to use online cvs giftcard because she claims that their system cannot process it even though I've been to other locations that have had no problem doing it for me. She told me it's not a location thing it's all CVS which is a lie since I myself have used an online CVS giftcard at other locations. Waste of time waiting in busy line. Poor customer service.

After 20 years of supporting this CVS, I will not be going back again. I was treated so poorly by a pharmacy assistant during a simple prescription transaction - she was rude and for no reason dressed me down in front of a crowded store. I was calm and professional and will never forget how she made me feel. I told her I had a choice of where to go and would not be bringing any more of my business to CVS.

the tall, blonde woman who works at this location is incredibly rude. She refuses to explain anything to you, and will make you feel like you’ve completely wasted her precious time. Go to literally any other location.

Have a very hard to find eyedrop that I to call around other CVSes. As luck have it, Josh answered the call and went far above and beyond in helping me find other CVS with the medication, and proceed to help me with both the insurance & prescription transfer from other CVS.As I can't leave a tip for excellent service, I can only do the next best thing. Had a Sat 10 am appt. Clinic opens at 9, so I'm just the 3rd appt of the day. The 9:30 appt entered at 9:45. I waited, and waited. I finally canceled at 10:55. So, not really a "minute" clinic is it?

I signed into the kiosk and was waiting to be seen before my appointment time, but was not greeted until at least five minutes after. Once I sat down though, it went smoothly and the staff was friendly. They answered all of my questions and when they didn't know the answer to one, referred me to a number I could call. Also, the atmosphere was pleasant and there wasn't a bunch of people around.

I try not to leave many 1 star reviews but this CVS has been a waking nightmare ever since I moved to Birmingham and this is the only outlet that remains for me to attempt to grasp what remains of my dwindling sanity. While the offenses are not egregious, they are both incessant and mind boggling. Within just the past several months, I have had the following delightful experiences:1) Habitually encountering a closed drive they window during business hours (and no not during the new lunch hours, but usually 30+ minutes after they are supposed to be open)2) Gone to the parking spaces clearly marked for covid testing, told to go to a different location NOT marked with signage, and then waited an additional half hour past my appointment time3)Have both laughed and cried in when the pharmacy team member repeated my four letter last name back to me wrong 4 times in a row3) Had my insurance information randomly deleted (on multiple occasions) despite having no changes in coverage4) Waited in line behind a SINGLE vehicle for over 40 minutes5) Regularly told my Rx is “too early to fill”, oftentimes a week or more after anticipated refill date written ON THE BOTTLE6) Almost being given the wrong covid boosterAnd last but not least:7) Calling to check the price of a time-sensitive medication, and being told by two separate pharmacy team members that it is fully covered by my insurance. Ask “are you sure?” Maybe 3 times. They are most certainly sure. Come to find out, said Rx is $224.I have previously used this pharmacy purely out of cost saving measures, but at this point I would drive 100 miles to avoid ever dealing with this particular CVS location again. If you value your sanity, I recommend filling your prescriptions elsewhere.

Worst pharmacy in the area. When to pickup a prescription 2 hours later and they made me wait at the window for 30 mins. The guy told me he would be with me in one moment. After 5 mins I buzzed afain and they never came, i did so two more times wnd they ignored us. Then they left out a medication because it wasn’t covered by insurance but they did not tell me until I went inside. Then I had to wait another 35 mins. This was medication for a loved one suffering from blood clots. This was some of the worst customer service I ever encountered.

This store used to be a decent one, but not any more. Prescriptions are ordered by the doctors and you go there after 10-14 days and the prescription is still not ready. You have to do multiple visits to get your medication. I filed multiple complaints with the corporate office. No visible action.Drive through time is 30 min on average. What is the purpose of drive through????Worst customer service!!!!!!

I'm a CVS returning customer after years of going too a Medical building's Pharmacy trust the facts all Pharmacy's whether mom pop or Pharmacy's in Medical building's or CVS, Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid ,Kroger's Meijer etc. All Pharmacy's, your gonna have too bring your patience . Impatience will never be the solution. And get out and go in see the amount of prescriptions your pharmacy has and meet the Pharmacist and Staffers you'll see their doing what they're supposed too your certainly not the only customers waiting. Patience is the key especially lol if your picking up BP medication chill out. !!!!!!!!!!!

My most recent experience with this location was pretty good!! I live in the area so I come often. I went to the pharmacy (had to wait on my meds due to pain), it was busy but the staff was helpful and attentative, although some of the customers were "trying", one lady clearly saw that it was 1 line but still proceeded to go to the empty window in front of another lady and they serviced her without even letting her know that there was only 1 line. I did not like this at all, however because this situation did not concern me I remained silent. Overall this pharmacy is hit and miss, they have really good days and some days that sucks, but most of the time you'll be pleased.

Scheduled a COVID test for work travel. Followed the signs and parked. Nothing after 10 minutes so I drove to the drive through. Hand written sign said the drive through was closed and additionally that there would be no COVID tests today. Awesome. No notification or attempt to make signage clear or notify me ahead of time. Won't make that mistake again of using this "Minute Clinic".

I wish I could give less than a star for the terrible management of cvs in this local area. CVS should hire new district managers who actually care about their stores and staff.

So it's ok to be prejudice and stereotype people if you're a Pharmacist at CVS? I assume that must be the unwritten rule now. Went to CVS tonight to pick up a script after being in hospital for Kidney Stones. I was told by counter help that they "couldn't fill my script." When I asked why, all I was told was "they were out of stock and the next closest CVS was up the street at Woodward". Not really knowing what was going on, I went home and asked my Mother to go pick up my script. Sure enough less than 2 hours later my Mom was able to pick up the script. Now there is a chance that the delivery came in during that two hour window, but what is far far more likely is CVS is allowed to be prejudicial when deciding whose scripts they will and won't fill. Now I am a 43 year old man with a buzz cut and far to much grey hair. My appearance is not of being fresh from a Grateful Dead show, but also not fresh from Bible Study. Now Doctors and Pharmacists are the ones who created the Opioid Crisis but yet honest patients now get stereotyped and pre judged by Pharmacists who have no knowledge of my character or anything. Maybe the Pharmacists and staff should take the time to get to know people or call the prescribing Doctor instead of breaking the law by not only lying to me, but also pre judging me, and being blatantly racists. Again, the opioid crisis was not started by people magically finding narcotics, it was created by the people who dispense them!! See you in court with a ton of other people who have experienced the same thing...
