I have spent $$$$ at Menards over the years but today was the worst service ever. I picked up a special order and there was nobody at the counter me and my husband had employees look at us and turn the other way. We finally just went into the warehouse for our own item and loaded it by ourselves and left.. The guard could not believe it. I hope when I pick up the rest of my order it is not messed up because of this.Horribly customer service WAITNo customer service.

I dont write review but this is insaine. They had products marked on sale but when i got up to the counter they charged me 3x what the sale price was supposed to be. When I returned the product I got $2 less than what i had originally spent. Had to spend hours to get my money back. This place is insaine!

Bought alot of plants in bad shape. Not enough care given pulled 12 from death row totally tough plant thank got for my care and alot of rain all but two came back to health

Called before I drove 30 miles before purchasing product.1 in stock was open with peices missing,, they did nothing for me.Except, sorry sir have a nice day. That's 60 miles round trip, you guys owe me at least 15 dollars in gas. Thanks for nothing.

Spent $3000 on products for our bathroom remodel. Had some issues with a delivery and things were taken care of quickly. They shipped the missing faucet to me with no issues and great customer service. We bought flooring and all the tiles were broken. The guy in flooring was very friendly and helpful. We luckily found a replacement box and had no issues returning them.Then we bought two faucets and one was missing a crucial part to finish the job. Unfortunately the contractor didn't notice until the faucets were already on so we went to Menards and found the same faucet. We asked if could take the small part from the box since the one we had was defective. Selia, the manager would not let us do that even though it was the same exchange as the flooring?!? She just refused and wanted us to take off the faucet and return it. So we had to buy another faucet instead of making a already existing stressful situation into a bigger one and we then took the small part off and now will return an defective faucet. We had no problems with Menards until she refused to help us and would not budge to help us. It is a bummer because we love Menards and have spent a lot of money there but will go to Home Depot at Benton Harbor instead as we have had much better customer service from them.

As I went to check out lane, lady struggles to acknowledge me, she was the only lane open, as usual they bark at you the amount you owe while you bag your items to be purchased. After paying for the items I was waiting for the receipt to be printed and she literally pushed me out of the way insinuating I wasn't smart enough to wait for the receipt telling me she had to do it (didn't appreciate her getting so close to me) because it would cause an issue with the machine if I didn't wait for receipt to be printed. If she was so eager to get the receipt why couldn't she have been eager to help with bagging my items. Never said thank you, I believe she hates her job! Don't recommend doing business here.!!

Costly because they got great deals and I always go in to buy one or two things and walk out with a whole cart full of stuff. $69 dollars for whole set. Drill alone was $59 dollars.

I'm only giving a 2 star ,for that simple fact is I was there today, spent $640.00 on a swimming pool, for my daughter's birthday, and I'm 52 years old and had to take the pool outside by myself, a 20×48 ft pool and tried loading it alone, because no one came to help me,and 2 wonderful older gentlemen, pulled up and helped me they were in thier 70s, thank God for people like them ,they were only customers and should not have had to help..so I personally won't go back here again.

DO NOT purchase any item from them for delivery. I paid for a washer in full, and before they delivered it, they sold it to someone else. Then, they demanded I come back to the store to get a refund, later agreed to credit my card. These are not honest people

There should be away to communicate to the customer that when purchasing lumber, you are down to the last dozen pcs in stock and none of that dozen are worth starting a fire with ! Just left with $50 worth of VERY POOR deck planking, the yard attendant informed me "the truck" hadn't been in for awhile.......

The worst Menards! No one is working and those that are, are incompetent. The quality of their products has gone down drastically. You have to dig through a whole skid of wood before you find usable boards. Do yourself a favor and go to Home Depot. Avoid!

My best friend bought a stove here, after finding someone to bring it home for her then finding someone to try to hook it up, she lifted the top and found it all rusted out. It was never hooked up and now they are refusing to take it back because it's the 8th day from purchase and they only take back up to 7 day's . My friend is disabled and and this is how she gets treated. Shame on you Menards

This store allows customers to open carry weapons . Though Michigan is an open carry state , any retailer can easily ban weapons in its store by simply posting a notice that no fire arms are allowed within. No other store in South Haven allows weapons , so why does Menards? My wife and I have spent a lot of money at this store , but after a recent encounter with an armed customer , we will only shop here as a last resort. Why does Menards feel any of its customers would want to be exposed to an armed person who they know nothing about and who may have mental issues or be having a bad day ? Most Menards employees at this facility definitely do not want armed customers allowed and neither do the vast majority of your customers.

This is probably the most disorganized Menards I’ve ever been too. Very few helpful personnel working. Inventory in the back is almost always wrong. We’ve driven many 40 minute trips to this store just to find out they didn’t actually have the product even though they claimed they had multiples in stock. They really need to figure out how to do better inventory management.

Eric in the paint section was very helpful to us as soon as we approached the counter. I only gave 4 stars because they didn't have the paint color we were looking for online, but I know that's not Eric's fault. He was not impatient or in a hurry, he was awesome and I'm thankful we had good customer service because we had a bad experience with Walmart.

Bought a &1800 fridge/freezer and &174 for shipping to Bangor. The shipping department farms it out to Mayans Delivery. We’ll they ruined an Anderson sliding door the stationary one I took the slider off. I called Menards immediately and they passed me off to west Michigan insurance I have called them a number of times and keep getting runaround. Took pictures to Menards’s and get an all sorry . Is getting a lawyer the only way to get help. Don’t buy any large appliances from Menards: well you have a customer service department that understands when a customer is upset because your delivery service just ruined a door instead of the not so understanding manager in deliveries that laughs and says that’s bad and gave me the ph number for the insurance company of the people that delivered the fridge. Someone from the store to call and help with problems and the channel to get things done. We are older and when a door gets destroyed it’s devastating for us. I did bring a picture in to delivery manager and basically no help or understandingLarry

The store has definitely improved in terms of cleanliness and organization. Workers are maintaining social distancing and sanitation rules, and it is easy checking out. Inventory is still slightly limited but that is to be expected. Overall, I have not experienced a drop in quality of service.

They are some arrogant people. I went there today they make you walk all the way to the back of the store to order your lumber. The attendant acted like I was bothering him printed my ticket and never said thank you or anything. But they usually got what I need. Finding someone to help is another story.

Not the nicest people. I did an order online to be picked up. Got the email that said it was ready. I called and Chris let me know that they don't load the order.I realize that my 45 10 foot boards are nothing to a store like this but to add insult when I found the wood in the "yard" I saw 5 employees they saw me come in and park by the pressure treated wood and they promptly disappeared.If this is policy that's fine it would have been nice to Know when I placed the order I could have brought help.This is a true case of no good deed goes unpunished. I just wanted to do a favor for someone who needed it.

Today at Menards I had the worst experience with one of their staff members. I always go to Menards to buy any of my supplies for projects I have going on. Today was no exception, I needed to buy wood planks for my latest project. I had went to Menards counter help desk for their out door supplies one needs a ticket for large orders for pick up. After getting my ticket and paying for the planks I needed, I went to the back gate to pick up my supplies.After entering the gate to the back to pick up the wood I had bought, I looked for a worker to ask for help locating the wood I wanted. I found a gentleman by the wood and called out to him for help. He ignored my calls and went to some other customers behind me and I wanted till he finish helping them. Once he did I called out again and he kept walking. I called louder and he finally stopped and told me he was to busy to help me. I told him I understand but just need some help in locating the wood. He ignored what I said and walked away. Annoyed at this point I went and grab the wood that seem to be the one that I needed based on the ticket. When I arrive at the gate to leave the worker there checked my order and supplies and told me that the wood I had was wrong. I explained what happened and they connected me to the manager’s number to explain what happened and would help me locate the wood.I explained to the manager that I was upset how unhelpful the worker was and rude in ignoring my calls for help to locate the wood. I told him that they need to address the worker on their actions and that if I saw them again next time, I would hope they will help with any questions I had. Since Menards’ workers have always helped me with any questions I have had with no problem until now.

Extremely poor customer service!! In my opinion store managers at this location are rude, arrogant and very unprofessional. The General Manager lacked empathy and had zero interest in fairly resolving the issue. I feel like he had a chip on his shoulder the entire time I was speaking to him because I told him I was calling Corporate to file a complaint against one of his "managers" and his store. I dont care if I was A one time customer or spend thousands of dollars at this store, they need to learn how to treat the customers and be RESPECTFUL. Instead of offering a discount on a defective product or damaged item that I paid over $500 for - expecting me to have no sink for 4-6 weeks in the home, pay someone to transport the damaged one which is over 250 pounds back to the store and pick up a new one SEEMS LIKE THE BETTER CHOICE CORRECT MR. GENERAL MANAGER? Great way to lose customers. There are other lumber stores and hardware stores in South Haven. Menards isn't the only choice for those who live here.... I will be contacting Corporate!

Good place to shop people are kind and curious for the most part. Bathrooms are clean and smell nice. Your person that cleans them deserves a raise
