I left HomeTown in Hart because my meds where never ready a lot of the staff was unfriendly and it was always your fault. I came to HomeTown Shelby and the staff is always friendly meds are always there and right and if any problems arise they always call! Thank you HomeTown Shelby I’m glad I made the change!!

I always get wonderful service at our Hometown Pharmacy in Shelby. I am always waited on by very friendly personnel. Whenever I need a gift for someone, or just want something for myself, I can find it here because they have a huge selection and they are very reasonably priced. I prefer seeing an item rather than buying something online so I can see the quality before buying and won't have the expense of shipping something back. I always rely on them for my cards as well. I have also received my flu shot there for several years. It is so much easier, and much quicker, than going to a larger pharmacy.

Normally a great pharmacy, we love the Grice's and everything they do for the community. However, I just recently picked up my insulin (that I need to survive and live on) and we only received 1 vial in stead of the normal 2 that I need in case one breaks or runs out. We gave them a call and the lady who answered was rude and actually hung up on my wife. We told her we received 1 instead of the normal 2 and we explained to her that we were going to need 1 more in case one broke or ran out, and we told her what would happen if we didn't have insulin, that I would die without and she said yes, he would, and he needs to pay cash or that would happen, and hung up on my wife without and further response. This change was brand new to us, and I will most likely run out, and it was also unexpected, and if it was the insurance's policy that made this change, she was still very unhelpful and rude to my wife and hung up on us which was a shock because there wasn't even an argument taking place. Sad. I'll give 3 stars for the stout reputation of the family who owns these pharmacies, but taking 2 off for customer service and lack of information.

We have also received a quick response to any request for refills. The clerks and pharmacy staff are always willing to answer any questions we have. They are also able to process our orders quickly through three different insurances for me and two for my wife.

Horrible service. Called scripts in day before I went in. Still weren't ready when I got here. As I'm typing this, still waiting after 30 minutes but the pharmacists are having a great time chatting, laughing and such.

We fill nearly all our prescriptions at Shelby Pharmacy (and have for over 35 years) and highly recommend their personal service and pleasant, cheerful Staff! And if they don’t have what you need, they can generally order it! I believe they also still price match whenever possible.

For some reason communication between my doctor and the pharmacy always get screwed up and I never get my medications when I need them and sometimes I get them way before I need them. They're very nice but I can't play Russian roulette with my medications and I'm tired of calling just for them to say the doctor never sent anything when I have proof on paper that the doctor did

They do a great job with meds but their gifts are second to none, you can do all your gift shopping here, they also have shoes for diabetics ect that are comfortable

Shelby Hometown Pharmacy is one of those small-town places that go above & beyond to help. Also, their store is stocked with an incredible variety of very nice items. If you're looking for gift ideas, it's a great place to shop!

I did not have to wait long for my prescription. I left the Doctors office and went right to the Pharmacy. I made sure they had the right insurance, and by the time they said they had it in their system the script was ready. Andy was awesome. Thank You!

I went to pick up two prescriptions today. I was told that neither was available, but there was another one for me to pick up. Therefore, I picked up the prescription that was available and went to my physician's office to ask that they fax in prescriptions for the remaining prescriptions. I went back after 5 p.m. to pick up the prescriptions only to find that the one I had been told was not available earlier was actually the prescription I had already picked up. The other prescription I needed was not available and I was told I would have to wait another day or two to pick it up. As I was leaving the pharmacy I heard the pharmacist laughing at me because I had already picked up the prescription that I was told was unavailable. This is after going to this same pharmacist (Joni) two weeks ago and coming home with a completely empty bottle instead of the 30 day supply that I was supposed to get. At this point I am totally disgusted with the lack of professionalism and caring on the part of the staff. I have been making multiple trips per week to town because of mistakes on the part of the pharmacy team. Being laughed at before I was even out the door was the final straw for me. I am going to have every one of my prescriptions transferred to another pharmacy.
