The employees are extremely nice and helpful. I won't buy paint from any where but here. The gentleman who waited on me went out of his way to be helpful and even told me the sale they have on paint and ended up saving me money.

What a great store! I don't live up here but I happened to be in the area and figured I'd give them a call to see if they had plexiglass for a project I was working on. They were very polite and knowledgeable over the phone. But then... I walked through there doors... I swore I stepped back into 1987! The store felt a bit dated but in a really good way. It's bright, super clean and well organized. The staff was phenomenal and my plexiglass was cut perfectly to size. I only wish they were closer to me, if they were, then they'd definitely be my new "go to".

Customer service is good as long as you don't need to do an exchange. I am not talking refund but exchange. I purchased the wrong bathtub spout. I took it back to exchange for the correct spout. I did not have my receipt. I was also going to purchase an additional $80 in merchandise which i had placed on the counter. I was told that it was not "procedure" to do exchanges without a receipt. I didn't matter that the spout was in its original packaging and in the Ace bag I received at the time of purchase. I did locate my receipt and went back and did my exchange. However, I did not purchase the other items on the counter. I did go to the Ace Hardware in Lexington and purchased $170 in additional paint and supplies. Was procedure really worth losing the $80 plus and additional $90 in sales? By the way, the service in Lexington was excellent

Excellent staff, friendly and knowledgeable. Surprisingly large selection, I have found things here not available in big box lumberyards. You can order things they don't normally carry from Ace online and have shipped to store free.

Would not honor manufactures warranty on a water heater purchased there even after talking to manufacture on phone terrible experience hearing excuses and gave me run around for an hour I ended up going to bens 20 miles away and was pulling out of parking lot with a new one in 10 min
