Exceptional care and interaction is given to my pup Reilly every time. He's always happy to see me. But when I drop him off each time I travel, he just runs away happily with whomever is assigned to him. Its safe to say Reilly loves it at Woodland. He gets so excited a mile or so out in the car.I definitely recommend Woodland.

I originally contacted them and explained our situation over the phone. They took down our history and information and had to talk to their groomers. Amber was adventurous and brave enough to attempt grooming our dog. Woodland Pet resort is a very caring place and Amber is an absolutely amazing groomer. We have a 4 year old mini Australian Shepard that was rescued from a puppy mill at 11 mths old. She is fearful of many things, but especially new situations and strangers. Men in general, and loud noises or fast movements. We informed her of her history and arrived with a basket muzzle on Sadie for safety reasons. Amber was soft-spoken and patient with our pup. Which resulted in trust which allowed Amber to groom her without the muzzle! She's seen her two times now and at the last visit Amber was able to do a full groom which included her nails! In the past I had to bath her, dry her, trim and clip her hair and do her nails myself. This is such a big relief and Sadie gets professional grooming. Their prices are very reasonable and they get the job done quickly. I would recommend them to anyone with animals. They've helped make our lives so much easier!Photo with blue bandana was first groom. Purple was second groom. She feels so much better and smells amazing.

We had our puppy groomed last week and it was an amazing experience! The groomer made us feel comfortable- explained what she was going to do and communicated how it went. As a new dog mom, this put me at ease. Mylo will be returning!

Can’t say enough good about this place! They are so friendly and really seem to care about your fur babies. We used a different kennel when we first moved here and our boy would whine and get so anxious as we pulled up to the kennel. He doesn’t seem to be upset at all when we come to Woodland Pet Resort. He actually gets so excited to get into the building and hang with his friends. Thank you guys so much for taking good care of our Archie when he’s with you guys. I can tell he is really comfortable there, which makes it a little easier to leave him when we’re away.

They appear to be well organized. I've never had any issue getting a time scheduled for boarding and being able to combine boarding and grooming has been helpful.

All the staff is so attentive and takes such good care of my dog. At Woodland Pet Resort, my dog runs in to greet them. When I get home from vacation, she acts like I never left. They take her on walks every day and she can play with dogs her size.

Best groomer is Saginaw! My dog used to shiver/shake for hours after her grooming at a Shields groomer. Now at Woodland she loves it!! Highly recommend!!! It's worth the short ride to their location.

My baby started doggie day camp and will now be going every Tuesday! He came back to me very happy and worn out lol. The staff is amazing as well they made me feel very comfortable, answered all my questions, and treated my baby great! I also love their vaccine and spay/neuter policy because that let's me know that my baby is in good/safe hands! I highly recommend!

My year old Black Lab lives his best life there, I live an hour away and make the trip once or twice a week to make him happy! The people are definitely dog lovers for sure!

I hate to give 5 stars because what happens is everyone starts coming here and then I can't get in. It's the best place I have ever taken a pet. You can tell the people working there are pet lovers and understand pets. My dog loves it!

Great place to take your dog to be groomed or to board them when you have a trip. The staff are very attentive to my dogs and keep you informed of everything if they are keeping them overnight for boarding .

The attention to details and pet care here is unmatched my dog always comes home happy and healthy. He gets so excited when we pull up for drop off. They send the cutest pupdates about your pets. The staff is well trained and mannered as well. Over 100 percent rating and referral. Definitely a good place to call home

My dog was there for 9 days. I called a few times to check on him. I was told he was doing fine. When I picked him up he came home very sick. He was sneezing and coughing. I took him to the vet and he had kennel cough. They must not have paid much attention to him. He didn’t even bark for a week. I called and asked the manager to call me but never heard back. I will not take my dog there again.

The staff here is very friendly. I have taken my pets here for years and always feel confident they will be safe and well provided for. I love when they post pictures on Facebook so you can see your loved on while you are away. It is always very clean and well maintained. Weekend hours are quite limited which is the only downside.

I work at Woodland and LOVE IT!! I am also a dog mom of 7 and would never think to take my dogs elsewhere. The staff that works there are truly in it for the pet's. Every staff member loves the dogs and cats and pays special attention to their individual needs & dislikes.

Cooper, my hyper, 1 yr old, Great Dane mix, goes weekly to camp and training on Saturday. He has occasionally boarded for the weekend. They take such excellent care of my boy and Tracy is doing a phenomenal job training us. They also have grooming and regular daycare. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

We've had our Golden Doodle and Lab-Pit mix groomed at Woodland for about a year. The staff is friendly and our dogs both go to them without hesitation (although the pit is a little shy). We've been pleased with the services and the prices are reasonable. Have not boarded there yet, but I expect we will soon.

I boarded my two labs here twice – October 21’ and June 22’. Both times my dogs came down with kennel cough. The labs then gave it to our 3rd dog at home. Each time this accrued a vet bill of $250. The labs have been boarded at 4 different kennels throughout the years and this is the only kennel they came home sick from. This is very unfortunate as we were happy with the services/ grooming but risking the health of our dogs is unacceptable.

We took our boxers today for their first ever visit to be bathed by someone other than us. They came home smelling amazing, nails are done just awesome. We made another appointment immediately. Highly recommend Woodside!!!!

This is the second time I've used this place for my fur babies when I go on a trip they can't accompany me on. The staff is wonderful with the animals under their care. My cats don't typically like anyone but they're receptive of the attention they get from the employees. They also offer grooming services in the event your pet has an "accident" on the way there. It's highly unlikely I'd take my babies anywhere other than Woodland when I'm out of town. I highly recommend them.

I have used Boarding Services many times and know that my Border Collie Cooper is in good hands!!The day Camp is wonderful!! I have Cooper at camp two times each week!!The staff are fun, friendly, and keep Cooper safe during his stay!! They share pictures later in the day so you can see your dog!!

Wonderful place for our dog to stay. We've used day care, day camp, and overnight stays and he's thrilled to come every single time. Staff is friendly and seem genuinely enthusiastic with the animals. I feel very comfortable leaving our pet in their care.

Seemed like a great place to take my dog in the beginning, but as the week stay went on not so much. I only was able to see one photo of him on facebook even after contacting them to check on him. Picking up my dog the staff kept calling him a girl. They gave me no info as to if they even knew who he was, or how his stay went. I had a nail trim scheduled but wasn't met. On the car ride home his fur was coming off in clumps as if he was never even pet, and he also was sneezing non stop and had snot coming from his nose (never seen this happen). Mind you he had his kennel cough vaccine done 2 weeks prior to his stay, and this was also okayed with staff prior to his stay. We have had him home now for almost 3 days and he has developed a cough. I don't know if he has kennel cough or is really sick but he was clearly showing symptoms the second we picked him up. My mom boarded her dog around the same time at a facility in Bay City and she was getting daily updates from them about how her dog was and his overall stay was never a question to her. Next time I will go elsewhere.

This is one excellent place to board your dog. Clean, organized, VERY caring and competent staff go out of their way to care for your pet. Their prices are very reasonable and grooming services available too. Pedro loves it there.

THE best kennel and grooming in our area! They take such good care of the pets. Also the daycare and day camps they offer are amazing!! I will never take my baby anywhere else!
