It's great if you're living on the cheap or in a quick fix, or live nearby. Great place for non-perishable food. But for hard earned money I would much rather buy meat, fruit, and vegetables that cost a little bit more elsewhere.Besides they don't have a very good selection for fruit or vegetables. Not really too sure about the freshness for their spices or various condiments either. Be careful to check the expiration date if you are looking for those especially meat.. it's kind of just gross and off-putting when you see meat that has turned brown, or if you cannot tell that chicken or pork has gone bad.They do sell items close to expiration date or past the date. Just a word of caution. Also just because is a cheap deal doesn't mean I want to risk food poisoning.Items that they do have good cheap prices on include but may not be limited to: body soap, hand soap, laundry soap, dish soap, paper plates, plastic silverware, trash bags, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, other related household cleaners and other related hygiene items.Also its kind of an additional low blow to people who are trying to save money and yet this place charges you for plastic bags. Which I can see why, because their plastic bags are a lot more durable than let's say Kroger or Meijer etc. Unless you get lucky and the cashier doesn't feel like ringing up the price for each individual bag. Which has sometimes been the case. That's still a win in my book.Overall not exactly the best place but not exactly the worst place either.

Walmart is still cheaper than save a lot. Save a lot would be good if ya just needed to pick up a couple things but to fill y'all's cart it would not be

It's cheaper to shop at other grocery stores than yours. Your milk prices are ridiculous along with mostly everything you have also. You really need to relook your prices over or change it to pay -a-lot.

Was kinda disappointed.. it's not what it used to b yrs ago.. it used to b more economical but now in my op it's more costly.. nd less product for the money.. Walmart was cheaper by far! As much as I hate that it's facts nd I don't have to bag my own groceries nd or pay for a bag to.. therefore saving in the long run..

Speaking strictly about the selection, I would have to give it a mediocre. You see recognized brands and off (unrecognized) brands. However the prices do not really live up to its namesake. Good intentions aside, I have always had issues with the groceries that are placed more in a residential area to target lower income. I feel it is strange that the prices of the food isn't really setup to save the customers... but how much income they can get for the food through food-stamp transactions. After all, the prices do not save (me) alot. Although, the location may be looked at as a convenience. Smaller easier to traverse, and does have a selection of fresh fruit and veggies. All in a single stop. If, you live close by.

This is great store to go if you live on a budget like I do. I have been going to to Save A Lot stores since I was a child shopping with my mom. Lately, however, there have been almost no carts available if you don't bring one in yourself and I've even seen people walking off the lot with the carts. It's become a rule of thumb to just grab a cart from outside if you see one because staff won't round them up if it means confronting the cart thieves.

I love this shopping at this Save A Lot. The meat is fresh the vegetables are great. Every one is very friendly and helpful. Will return again , tell everyone about the nice, clean , store.

First time ever shopping here but I was satisfied with the different groceries they offer and at such good prices. The employees were awesome! They all had great attitudes and were very helpful. My only advice is take shopping bags with you or they do have some you can purchase.

They have a great variety of products at great prices. Milk and eggs are super cheap. They have reasonable prices in the meat department. Some of the produce prices seemed a little bit high as well. For the most part, boxed and canned goods are pretty cheap. I'll definitely be back. Overall good experience.

I just love shopping at Save A Lot and save money also i go there 3 or 4 times a month very convenient for my family they also have sales. and the prices are already reasonable

I've changed the way I prepare my food and eat...so I seen they sold brown eggs. I asked the Manager to order me a case...He did it! He ran out of Romaine lettuce...he works hard to keep the supply up. The big bag of cashews run out..he's on it to keep it stocked. He is a friendly guy along with his staff...I have no complaints shopping here. I stay satisfied 😌.

It a easy store to maneuver. They have a huge selection of items to choose from. Their prices are very decent considering they are the only grocery store on that side of town. However, there vegetables are not the best. They really dont last long at all.

I enjoy shopping at save alot I know all the cashiers and they are always very polite and always give you a helping hand. It is always clean and nicely stocked I visit this place about three times a week and have never had a bad experience

Store is not the cleanest, however the prices are great. While visiting this location I had difficulty finding a particular item. I then asked a cashier if she knew where the item was in the store. Unfortunately, she did not know where it was and did not offer assistance in finding the item. After searching high and low, I did eventually find what I was looking for. I feel this store is lacking staff.....only one cashier ringing up customers. I waited close to twenty minutes to check out.

Real friendly cashier, but not one of the worker had a mask on even though it's required by law now. Owner or manager may want to do something since I hear our overlord Whitmer is now fining stores pretty heavily for this.

Neighborhood store servicing an eclectric and diverse customer base. Staff does a nice job with limited shelving space for various items. Good value on many items. Best prices on meat in Saginaw area. Check out staff move the line nicely 🙂. Thanks
