****BEWARE THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR STORE RETURN POLICIES**** first of all I was treated suspiciously, rudely and disrespectfully from the moment I walked in with my return. I needed to purchase a carpet cleaner, a space heater and a powerful air purifier for my home. I spoke with the employee and asked about the return policy on the items at checkout. I was assured that I had 90 days to return the items for a refund of the purchase back to my card. The carpet cleaner was very lackluster and not any better than the one we already had and the space heater did not heat anywhere close to the description on the box. Because I was told that I had 90 days to return I did not make it a priority. When I went to return I was told the space heater was a “seasonal item” and therefore I could only receive a store credit. As far as the carpet cleaner I was told because I used it they would not refund the money back to my card and gave me a store credit. This was after they initially said I couldn’t return it at all because it had been used. How will I know if the item I purchase meets my needs if I can’t use it. I had used it twice very briefly and gave it a good try before I knew that it would not meet my needs. Very disappointed and I enjoyed supporting a regional business instead of Lowe’s and Home Depot but I am forced to purchase my large budget items somewhere that will give reasonable return terms.

My Wife and I came in late. Maybe 20mins before they were about to close. We needed hook-up parts for our new dryer and washer. Monty a very nice representative helped us and showed us exactly what we needed. He was fun, polite and even walked us to the isle we needed to make sure we didn't get lost and found the right product. He deserves a raise. It's people like him that make you want to return to a store. Thanks Monty from 2 tired girls who needed help with crazy toddlers you help us laugh and get in and out with the right stuff!!! We appreciated all you did!!

If you have a choice between Menards and Home Depot go to Home Depot Menards for a multi-million or billion dollar Corporation can't give you a full refund on a product that only they carry if you don't carry a receipt in your pocket I do have the receipt unfortunately it's 160 miles away from me right now so and because they can't measure correctly I got the wrong cabinets go somewhere else these guys are horrible obviously you can see they don't know how to read the measurements on their computer too bad a zero star isn't available three unfinished edges or ends only one piece of wood for it

Just spent thousands on Klearview cabinets and quartz countertops. The cabs are pressboard wrapped in a shrinking type contact paper. Everything is paper pressed together. Although I knew that when I purchased, I did not know my foods in the cabinets (breads) take on the cabs odor. Yuck...

I wanted to check out a Menards since they are building one in my city.Wow, very big! You had a fabulous lighting selection. A very nice tub selection.I grabbed a few snacks while there.Your Christmas section was pretty good.The furniture was a bit cheap looking.I did not go upstairs.The bathroom was not up to par. That caulk over the rust. Yeah, scored a thumbs down. The first stall had smeared yuck on the rim. The second stall had a plunger sitting next to it. Really? I understand that your building may be old, but a few of these things can be addressed. I really did not understand why you wanted to tape your sales ad above the hand dryer either. ??

4 YEARS and 2 doors later still no working door. We ordered a custom double entry front door. It was finally delivered (after 2 delays) the door handle holes were not drilled even you couldn’t close the door. We’re talking the left hole inch lower than the right. Blatantly wrong should not have passed even minimal quality control. We were told to bring the double door unit to the store! To prove it was wrong. The 100 pictures they requested weren’t enough supposedly. Eventually they relented and wanted to replace 1 of the doors. No the whole unit was wrong door nob and center locks that secure the 2 doors together were all wrong. 2 Months later door #2 shows up after paying again for delivery. It’s warped the steel of the door is warped!!!They won’t do anything about the door because it’s not square in the frame. No s***! It’s warped the steel is bent. After fighting for 3 years with both Menards Saginaw and master craft trying to get them to warranty it and replace with a working door, we gave up. Since they won’t replace it and took the $2000 we paid, we live with a front door that doesn’t meet in the middle and lets rain and snow into our house. Expensive mistake we won’t make again. No more Menards for us! Oh pics are of the newer door!! I can’t not recommend them enough. Stay away from anything custom or made to order.

Lia in the cabinetry section was amazing and very helpful. Fast friendly and great customer service. Same for Heidi in the back pick up area. Both deserve a raise. Best 2 employees I've ever had in all my years of shopping at Manards

Everytime i come to this location i never seem to find an employee in good spirits. 9 times out of 10 the employees are uccupying the bathroom just sitting there. I can think of three visits when my son needed to use the restroom and we had to wait for a stall to open. Its always a Menards workers. This location has not been the greatest experience ever.

Over the past year, I've built nearly this entire house through Menards. Around $75,000+ spent in this store by myself. Nearing the end of the build and now they are giving me a hard time over no receipt returns. I'm here every single day making purchases to finish this home. I don't have the hours to dig through all this paperwork and find receipts when I'm already getting in the store at 9-10pm at night so that I can keep working on this house the following day. In store credit or cash returned, it doesn't matter cause I'm spending it in store regardless. I don't appreciate the employee's attitude when I've made the biggest purchase possible within your store. And when your building an entire home, your gonna have a bunch of returns.

I’m not sure why so many people here leave negative reviews….This store has been a life saver for me. I’ve spent probably $20,000+ here in the last year or so while renovating my house. Best prices around, selection is great and people here are wonderful.

They have a wide variety of tools accessories power tools work lights etc. The staff is always friendly and willing to help if you need to find something or if you need a recommendation. Also they are more cost-effective than a Lowe's or home Depot.

I ordered an oven online, I've never done it before and no clue that I needed to order a separate cord because when you order online it doesn't tell you that you need one. So they get here and have to take it back because there isn't a cord to connect it. The customer service was great and worked with me on getting what I needed and agreed not to charge me another delivery fee. I set up a 2nd delivery time for after 4:30. At 6 I hadn't heard anything so I called and was told the driver was on his way. By 8:15 still no word so I called again and was told the driver was just leaving the store...I live 40 minutes away!!! So I get to sit for a 3rd day and wait for an oven delivery. Last purchase I will make from this store.

A great place to save big money. Check out lanes are generally short and move quick. Nice selection of products and prices are good; would be even better if the 11% rebates were instant and “mail in”.

The customer service at this store is OUTSTANDING. We are remodeling two rooms in our house. We have been to the store several times and the service was always excellent from the customer service desk, getting assistance in finding things in any department from plumbing, painting, building supplies and at the check-out. The employees are knowledgeable and if they do not have the answer, they will find someone who does. I would highly recommend this store.

TELL YOUR SECURITY TO LEARN HOW TO READ PEOPLE!I generally shop at Menards for projects and etc. I’ve never had a problem up until about a half hour ago. I went in looking for a battery operated ceiling light and couldn’t find one so I moved on and found myself looking at the clearance on the end caps. There were these two smaller bottles of paint that I wanted. I thought they were on clearance for $3.49 and when she scanned them they rang up $5.99 so I decided not to get them. Security following me through out the store….please as if….I don’t steal, I actually worked in retail for 20 years and I know what it feels like to be stolen from! Following me outside is doing what for you?? Nothing. Ridiculous! You can bet I will be contacting your management because I am beyond appalled!

Yesterday my African-American husband went into the store to purchase blinds for our new home. When checking out the cashier stated “I thought you were going to run out without paying.” We feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome at this place of business. It was very discriminatory and I’m disappointed by this behavior.

I volunteer at our local animal control and another volunteer posted on FB that Menards had fleece throws on sale. I went to the Saginaw store yesterday but I couldn’t find them. I asked Christine in tools and she took me to where she thought they were and did not give up until she found them. She went above and beyond and we had a nice conversation about animal rescue and our pets. She was an absolute delight!

Was literally the only place that had large in-store gardening supplies, like a rotating composter. Everywhere else only had the option to order online. I'd give a higher rating, but they also happen to be the only store of this nature that doesn't do discounts for veterans.

Racist white staff members . Especially in hardware and flooring. They don't even speak to you if you're not white. You can ask them a question and they stare at you annoyed and disgusted you're even there talking to them. They act like they're some kind of God of home improvement stores. I really hate the experiences I get when I'm there every single time. I never experience that at home depot or Lowes not even once.
