This place is the absolute best pet store around also they have the friendliest staff ever!!!!! I had a young girl wait on me by the name of Drew and she was an absolute sweetheart. So friendly to me. She took me right to what I was looking for, opened up the cage of the animal that I was interested in and I was able to hold my favorite bunny!!!....I've never experienced such wonderful and friendly customer service from an employee in my life!!! They had all the items I was looking for and all were at such a reasonable price!!. I would definitely recommend this pet store to everyone!!!!!

Prices weren't that different compared to other stores (as I've heard they were) and no employees on the floor to help with questions. Very cluttered at the ends of the aisles to the point some aisles were hard to get the cart through. My claustrophobia was kicking in which shortened my shopping.

Great place with friendly staff! I was hunting for a Syrian hamster and this was my last stop, it should of been my first! I found the cutest little Syrian Panda who I have named Po(Kung fu panda). The staff were very helpful and kind and Po has been amazing so far! Within the first day of him coming home he was already settled in very well and was allowing some interaction. About 4 days in now and he is so sweet and so very fluffy!

I bought a hamster from this location and immediately fell in love. sounds stupid but i saw him and i cried my eyes out, and i caved. he’s the cutest little pookie ever, everything at this location is very affordable and all the animals are very affectionate and friendly:) 10/10

I've gotten my 2 lizards from here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Just one downfall I got a hamster from there that wasn't vet checked because her teeth were way overgrown which she wouldn't have passed vet check. They were so long that they punctured her soft head tissue, ended up spending $92.00 to have my baby euthanized. Couldn't file a complaint because I had her for two weeks and she was alive when the vet put her out of her suffering.On the plus both my lizards (2 different breeds) are doing okay. I just won't get another hamster, my heart was broken too much.Update: lost both my lizards before 6 months mark. Don't get your pets here they die from not being vetted properly!!!

CHECK DATES!We have been purchasing our dog food and treats at this location (Saginaw)for ~1 year. I have always been aware of the clearance and past date shelves. If you walk in today (2-25-23) There are bags clearly marked past date. We started grabbing treats in the dog aisle and decided to check the dates. All of them were well over a year old. I went up front where there is a circular rack of blue buffalo treats, no marking stating they are outdated, yet they were are expired last year. An entire section of "rib treats" in the middle aisle, no markings of being old, were expired back in 2021. Alpo bone treats, some fish role snacks we picked up, all expired and no markings. It slipped my mind to check the food we buy (nutrisource). I asked an employee who stated they have been getting in shipments of expired food. I was also told they can sell it up to 2 years and when its old they put it on sale, but not required to mark it expired. Every treat we looked at was expired, this doesn't mean I am saying everything is.

Terrible experience. I just spent 100 bucks and the lady behind the counter told the employee, David, to help me with my bag yet he sat and talked and was on his phone. The lady was quite nice but seriously stop hiring staff who’s not gonna work. The man watched me struggle to get the bag inside the car and did nothing. If I could give you a 0, I would, yet I have to give at least 1 star.

The staff is extremely helpful they are always eager to assist. The most important being choosing the best quality food for our fur-babies. Ms. Lucy and Mr. Frodo appreciate the time y’all take for them. Especially, Ms. Picky-pants I mean Lucy. Lol

I bought a big bag of birdseed, took a couple scoops out, stored it in a plastic container, and just went back to scoop out more and it's filledwith bugs. Super disappointed.

Very clean store, and the staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They took the time to ask questions, and make suggestions based on knowledge - whether first hand, or learned...with every customer that walked through the door. Pretty impressive - the staff at other locations could take some notes. Ill drive 15min further to come here from now on. Definitely worth it.

I really like the people working here and they have really good prices. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because they don't know where their supplier gets their animals from. I'm pretty positive at least the Green Iguanas are wild caught. They seem like they have never had any human interaction before and are really wild. They sold me one without asking me any questions at all, I would like to see them caring about the animals more.

Love this store. Moved up from Shelby Township and was happy to see this store 10 minutes from home. It is clean, staff is helpful and prices are reasonable. Took training classes here great program too!

MUCH better! We almost didn't visit today because the two times we went in the past we were disappointed in the inventory and very displeased with the service. The store was fairly new then though, and it has vastly improved. We found more good stuff there than we did at PetSmart, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Not quite as professional as some places, but that actually helps a bit with the friendly feeling. We left happy today!

I usually love this store, today though..went in to get feeder mice and crickets, the girl with the green hair was more interested in trying to entertain my husband then actually do her job, luckily another employee noticed as well and came to finish her job for her. Very inappropriate behavior for an employee.
