Anymore, it is a rare store where you can deal directly with the owner. Lone Star Western Store is one of those rare stores. Patty is great to deal with. She knows her boots, and I'm sure she is just as knowledgeable about everything else she carries. This store is her passion; her baby; her dream job, if you will. Pattie was very helpful when I was saddle shopping. She even let me take the saddle to my barn and try it on my horse. It wasn’t a good fit and she let me bring it back without any issues. Very friendly and helpful.

Well, we arrived at 10:40 on a Saturday to use a gift certificate my daughter won and the store is closed despite posted hours which say they open at 10:30. When we asked the lady at the feed store next door she informed us that the owner doesn't always make it in on time due to traffic and that she has dogs...whatever that means. One other customer has come and left since we've been waiting. Not impressed at this point. Based on other reviews this is not an uncommon issue (wish I had read them before driving out). After waiting until 11:02, we left. Will pay my daughter the $30 gift certificate to spend somewhere else.

Always a great place to find the horse supplies you need or boots! What she doesn't have on hand, she can order easily. This business supports local 4H and FFA kids and events.

Don't bother showing up at 10:30 when the sign says they will open. Apparently the owner shows up whenever they feel like it as the lady next door informed me they should arrive sometime around 11

Hard to shop when you aren't open during your posted open hours. Disappointed I drove 40 mins one way to shop just for your store to be closed.
