The hardware was a great place to go until it was sold,,, The new.Owners do not have a clue, They couldn't make it in Dearborn. And I don't think they'll make it here. The owner's son, the worst. I have caught him charging me more than the price tag. And some of their policies are ridiculous. Don't ever try to return anything. They will find a reason not to take it back. Hope they sell it as someone that knows how to run it as they don't.

Doesn't accept returns on tools. Brought a staple gun and some staples to go with it. The guy working there guaranteed that the staples would fit and when I got home I opened the package and the staples didn't fit. Was told if the package has been open then can't take it back. How else would you know if the staples fit in there?

I recently had the pleasure of working with Amar at Hammer Time Hardware on a project involving finding the right salt for my driveway and asphalt yearly maintenance. Throughout the process, Amar provided outstanding customer service and went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible.From the very beginning, Amar was incredibly helpful in assisting me with finding the right salt for my driveway. He provided several recommendations, and was able to explain the differences between each option in detail. This was incredibly helpful, as it allowed me to make an informed decision about which option would work best for my situation.The next step of the project was to discuss the asphalt yearly maintenance. Amar was once again incredibly helpful throughout the process. He was patient and understanding while I asked a million questions, and was able to provide detailed explanations of the various options available. Once again, this was incredibly helpful, as it allowed me to make an informed decision about which option would work best for my situation.In addition to providing helpful recommendations, Amar was also a pleasure to work with. He was always friendly and professional, and was quick to respond to any questions I had. He was also willing to go the extra mile to ensure that I was happy with the results. For example, Amar was willing to call around to various retailers to make sure I was getting the best price on the items I needed.The project also involved finding the right type of chain and lock for a dog house. Everything that's great about small hardware stores. They always have someone at the door to ask what you need and show you exactly where it is, and offer advice and expertise. Always. Stark comparison to the big box stores where you spend half an hour searching and can't find a worker who knows much about their products.On the downside, they don't enforce their mask rules, and with new cases and deaths hitting records daily I watched as a regular customer talked into the faces of two employees from about 16" away. Gotta step that up a bit, Clark. Your aisles are too small for comfort to be in there with people like that. If it it weren't for that it would be 5 stars all the way.

Hands down, the best hardware store in Saginaw. I entered, explained what project I was doing. The gentlemen that helped us offered personalized service, helping us find the most cost efficient route for completion. The check out clerk was conversational, friendly, and invited us back. I compared prices on products offered at major chain home improvement stores, and Clark's trended to have more value products, and on name brand items, was within a dollar or so. You'll leave here spending less money, less time, and the staff is infinitely better than chain stores.

I have been a landlord for thirty plus years ,bar owner for nine.Time is money in my situation, they are knowledgeable and professional and carry a lot parts that some big box stores don’t even know what you’re talking about. best hardware I have found. I also feel good about supporting a local business!!!

Used to be a lot better but recently sold. Seems they are running out of items. Kept me in line forever due to computer issues.*UPDATE* Seems they are getting together a little better. Maybe just took some time to settle. Kinda pricey but closet than the big box hardware stores.🙂

Seems like something is wrong at this place, when you walk in they are on you. Well I just wanted to return a few small faucet repair items unopened. They said your not getting money back and I said that's fine do you give store credit she said yes so I waited for someone to come to do whatever they do for that to happen and I had to go so I returned today with same items and now it's a different story. Now I can't get anything and I was there to spend even more money with them. Well they lost another customer, I'm done there, good luck, I sense a closing in the near future thanks to the way they operate or lack of. I am not a window shopper when I go in a store to shop or return something i usually spend more with that place for my rentals. #Megamillionlottowinner Google this!!!! I will bet you $500 you won't keep this at the top of your reviews!!!

Two or three times, whether intentional or out of incompetence, I've been initially overcharged by 25-30% at the counter, leaving me to inform the cashier of the price label on the shelf, and wait for another worker to go back to the aisle for the correct price!

My husband and I live close to the Clark on Bond in Saginaw and shopped there often. After today, we will not be back. I called first to make sure they could mix tint into cans of paint we had, as we were not looking for perfection but wanted to paint a room as cheaply as possible. We explained that we only had $10 to spend because Christmas just passed. He said no problem, he could help us but the color might not be perfect and so we immediately drove there. We waited 20 min for someone to even help us. When the man finally came over he said he was the one I spoke to on the phone. He proceeded to give us every excuse he could think of for me to buy paint and not use what I brought. Little did he know my husband is an experienced builder and called him out on every excuse. He finally said he wouldn't do it and rudely waked away. We took our business elsewhere. Had he been a bit more polite, we would have just put paint on our credit card. Menards got over $100 of our business today and we will never shop Clark again.

What's not to love about this place! Really... There's always someone there to help you as soon as you walk inside. They direct you to the exact aisle and location for what you are looking for. It may not have everything a big box hardware store has, but I'll take service over selection anyday!
