One of the few places that does a excellent job on cats. She did an excellent job on my rescue cat and he was very dirty and so were the insides of his ears. He came home clean with soft shaved fur (I have allergies 🤧). Now we have a new kitten and we take them both here. My pets are my family & I trust them to treat them with kindness while in there care. I recommend you give them a try.

Took my cat Juno in for a shave for the summer. He’s got very thick fur and loves to shed all around my house!If your animal is scared and uncomfortable with a certain procedure they make sure to not go through with it. My cat didn’t like the blow dryer, so they dried him the best they could and made sure to tell me! I thought that was great.He’s never been to the groomers before so I was nervous for how he’d react to it all. But! When he came out with a nice lion cut and new pretty claw caps I was so excited.It’s funny to see him walk around the house looking like a whole new cat. Great job! And understandable about a rather moody cat.

First they cancelled on us the day of the appointment and couldn't reschedule us for a week. We were taking our cat in for a wash because my allergies were getting really bad. THEY SHAVED HER.We have taken her here before without issue but this was the last straw. I wanted my cat washed, groomed and brushed out. NOT FULLY SHAVED. I'm so angry. She still had loose hair clumps on her back when they turned her over like they couldn't be bothered to brush her after shaving her. She peed in her crate she was so scared, and has eye gunkies from crying.When we confronted the groomer she was swearing at us left and right. Absolutely unprofessional.The groomer claimed my husband approved this. He did not. Then they said they spoke to his wife (me) and that I approved it. I did not. I have no idea who they spoke to or who approved this.I don't know what happened today or what the issue was because our previous visit was great.

My daughter who was home from college took her dog to Pets Smart for grooming yesterday. The dog is a Yorkie and had not been groomed regularly. She is eight months old and of course was very nervous. Pet Smart stopped the grooming in the middle and had my daughter go back and get the dog. They sent the dog home half groomed, nicked in places, and looking a complete mess!!!! I began looking for groomers that could get the dog in before my daughter had to leave town for work today. Hairy Paws had an opening for today at 10:00 and they were very pleasant, and took their time and trimmed the dog nicely and fixed the mess that Pets Smart made yesterday. This will definitely be our regular groomer. They had excellent customer service and we are very appreciative!!

Hairy Paws grooming was wonderful! My domestic long hair cat hates to be brushed which lead to some serious matting in his fur. He can be very aggressive to the point he requires sedatives prior to all of his appointments. Staff helped him so much by shaving his body per my request. He no longer has painful lumps of matted hair, nails are trimmed, and he'll be nice and cool this summer lol. Thank you Hairy Paws and Hunter thanks you too 😊 😊😊

Called to make an appointment for a nail trim and bath for my older female. I was able to take her on my lunch break and pick her up after work. She's a rescue who is difficult to groom, but she was in high spirits when she came home. The groomer is very good with her, which I really appreciate!

My dog TJ is very difficult to groom. Every place I have taken him, he gives them a hard time..He likes the staff at hairy paws! He does good every time. It doesn’t take all day for him to be groomed and on top of that they do a great job.

Do. Not. I repeat DO NOT bring your dog to Hairy Paws Day Center or do any business with Carry. She is HIGHLY unprofessional. The customer service I received after she completely disregarded EVERYTHING I said, is appalling. I called and booked a grooming appointment for my nearly 6 month old Goldendoodle. I was very specific when booking appointment with what I wanted done, re-explained at the time of drop off, and called on my way home to insure that I was understood. There was to be no hair cut from his face or body with the exception of his hind end and the tiniest bit off his paws. My poor boy came home with his eyebrows, around his eyes and down his nose cut.. she shaved in his ears, which were left dirty.. and completely destroyed his paws. He has been left with trimmed burns in between the pads of his paws. When I called to ask WHY he was groomed the way he was and why my requests were completely disregarded, she argued with me, denied trimming his face, to later say that she did. When I went into the business to receive a partial refund.. she argued with me again, to the point of yelling at me. After showing her photos of his poor feets, she had ZERO remorse for what she had done to my poor boy. ALL she was going to give me was a $15 refund on the $50 service that she totally screwed up. She refused to give me a full refund.. I left with $25. Still angry and hurt with how she handled the customer service and what she had done to my poor boy.

Staff are Welcoming and I truly believe that this is the best haircut my dog has ever had, with her being a schnauzar/terrier mix. She's cute as a button. Thanks to Hairy Paws. She'll be back soon

I have a cockapoo that has been banned from PetSmart because of snapping at the groomer. She never made contact. She wasn't always that way and I feel they hurt her and she was afraid. I have been trying to groom her myself, with poor results. A friend recommended Hairy Paws and they agreed to try to work with her. Sophie acted.up like normal but they knew how to handle bad behavior without making it worse by yelling at her, etc. They did a really nice job in spite of her lack of cooperation. The plan is to take her back every four weeks and use the same groomer each time to get her comfortable. I couldn't be more impressed with the way they handled her and I feel sure that with their loving approach and understanding of animals, one day grooming won't be so traumatic for her.

I have taken my little shih poo Myah here twice for grooming and have been very satisfied both times. Myah had her summer cut here, and she looked adorable. The staff was very nice. We justed moved to Saginaw in December 2020.

I would give less if possible. I had long since stopped taking my dogs there, but recently my mothers small poodle mix was severely attacked by a large dog while in there care. Not only was there negligence, but they did not tell her about the incident until she noticed her dog was injured. Hairy Paws is refusing to release her insurance information to my mother to help cover the over 15,000.00 in costs from the surgeries and week long stay at the pet hospital .

I took my fur babies in for grooming so they'd look beautiful for Christmas but they did nothing for me but and my dogs back un-groomed and one halfof them half shaved. Worse place ever to take your fur babies

Love, love, love Hairy Paws! Kerr(i)(y) & partner treat Bella (Jack Russell) very well and sometimes let her hang with the bigger dog; she can hold her own like most bossy small dogs, or with them as the do rounds cleaning and such.💜💙💚💛💛🌈🐾

This place is highly disappointing. First of all, I called in January to enroll my puppy for obedience class and was told the next class would be late feb- early March. It was actually march 15th, which was too late, because we have a family trip planned march 30th. After this, I decided to at least get a few one on one sessions before we leave. The first two were fine, but the third appointment, my husband drove from bay city only to find that the Trainor had an emergency and no need called. He was told that someone left a message in my phone, which no message was left. This week I even called to confirm our appointment, and yet no one met us or even bothered to call.i can't begin to explain how upset I am to have wasted my time and money for maybe half HR sessions. I will never be back and I will shout out to the entire world not to waste your time or money on this sad establishment
