We have shopped here from time to time for 3 years. We have seen this store have more and more racist black employees. The employees tolerate it and say they are "working on" the racist employees. Racists have no place in this country. We were actually told by friends of the manager that we should "be put in cages." A horrible thing to say to a Jewish convert or anyone Jewish period. It is also offensive if they are of Asian descent as well. There is a track record here of racism from some in the community towards certain groups. This store mirrors the neighborhood as being racist towards the Jewish community and towards "Caucasians", especially those who may be of Ashkenazim descent. They also appear to possibly target people looking "AmerAsian." We were asked to leave their store when we were masked up and carrying sanitizer to use on our hands. I informed them I am a certified Covid facilitator and it meant nothing to them. A facilitator is someone who is trained about the disease so can inform or teach others about it and trace their contacts if they test positive. We are also called certified "Contact Tracer" investigators. The employee told her friends and friend manager we had Covid and we were asked to leave. We told her when we entered we were positive and were masked up and using sanitizer because of this. She neglected to see the social distancing stars on the floor in front of her register. Her and her friends announced our personal business to the entire store to humiliate my 8 year old daughter and myself buying food. I love google reviews and find it offensive when businesses have their friends and employees do positive reviews to skew their review raw data.
