We no longer shop here. Some people who work here and their kin retaliated against my family and myself. I am a decorated veteran. I applied to work here and the week after my resume was filed with them they made legal trouble for us and even lied on a police report about being on their property making trouble. I know a lot about some of their employees legal past as well as issues about food sold here that should not be sold. The thing is they tolerate unprofessional and unethical conduct here and tolerate some really bad employees also. They also like to retaliate. Dont let it be you. Go to the State and Davenport one.

It’s over all a nice store with lovely cashiers. I do wish that there would be more lines open as there is often a large volume of customers through out the day. But the store could be just a tad bit more organized on some isles as I can see they are quite messy. Overall it is a nice store and I enjoy coming here. Also about a summer or so ago there was a “security guard” or whatever he was since he didn’t dress as one but was obviously employed to be one, that flirted with me and followed me around the store. He was a bit weird and made me uncomfortable but I was nice and declined him and he was nice. I’m glad he’s gone now.

Not sure if it was just the holiday boom or the COVID, but the store was very dirty. Floors not swept, shelves dusty, and boxes of stock just laying on the floor. The employees are always great though!!!

I called at 3:35pm to ask if a item was there and a woman answered the phone 2-16-2020 put me on hold for 20 minutes as I listened to her laugh and talk to another person and refused to come back to the phone to give me an answer. The mistreatment I encountered was absolutely uncalled for I believe it had to be associated with my race! We call it reverse racism!

The manager I dealt with on 5-19-18 was extremely rude, chaotic and unprofessional to say the least. My husband came in and spent about $30 if not more in items such as pops, paper plates & cups, napkins and etc. for an event. When he got home he noticed the paper cups were not in the bags. I went back to the store immediately and kindly asked if they can look for them behind the counter. But cashier said there was nothing there. So I asked to speak to magamgement. And he was very defensive saying he dont know if im one of the people trying to get something for free. He then said well I guest the thrives got you the way they get us all the time. I told him we are regular customers and we deserve the respect of being HONEST. Also keeping in mind if my husband just bought $20 or so in pop and over $10 in disposable dishes that it wouldn't be such a far fetch that the casheir accidentally didn't give us 2 bags with paper cups. He then OBSERDLY and loudly reached out to other customers inviting them in our conversation saying "man I wouldn't give these people the items if they came back 20 minutes later either" . The people shopping looked very confused and I apologized on his behalf that he did that and left the store.

They sell everything for $1.00! They sell foods and other stuff that would cost you an arm and a leg somewhere else. EXAMPLE; THE EGG COOKER THAT WAS ADVERTISED ON TV LAST YEAR FOR APPROXIMATELY $20.00 OR MORE I PURCHASED THAT SAME ITEM FROM THE SAME MANUFACTURER FOR, $1.00!
