Came into this store back in the summer after dinner with family in the Saginaw area. I did not want to stop here but my mom did so I tagged along. I had nothing in mind that I wanted to buy so I was just walking around helping my mom find items. However, the store clerks seen me in the store for awhile with no items and apparently thought I was SHOPLIFTING, thought nothing of it. Once my mom finally finished shopping I went to sit down but I hadn’t brought any items about 20 minutes later I was stopped by police in Bridgeport because they were looking for possible “shoplifters “ are you serious? It was nothing in that store I wanted plus I’m from Oakland county area where we have access to way more. Don’t know if it was a connection between this and the shoplifters they were looking for but I will tell you wholeheartedly there is NOTHING in Saginaw township I want to steal. I will be sure to bypass this place when I’m out traveling

Hoping someone else has some more info or experience with the metal frame Pergolas. Both look nice. We like the screen feature on the smaller one. Our concern is how long will this last in the Northern Michigan weather. Will we have an issue with it rusting out? We found another one similar in price at Sam's but with wooden posts vs metal.

If you need to find help on the sales floor, good luck, because it's A Ghost Town. Otherwise, it's just what you'd expect from a Big Lots - lower priced items that come from closeouts.I got pickles, sweet tea, and a cute pair of discount sandals that I had previously seen on Macys.Super nice Cashiers too!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! We bought a mattress less than 90 days ago and it started falling apart! It was for my toddler, who rarely even sleeps in her own bed. I called the store to make sure we could return this and was assured with or without receipt we would receive our money back either credit card or store credit. Well, my husband took it in and they refused to give him his money back! They took 20% off the purchase price because “we have sales anyway” and that was all they could do. The manager was absolutely zero help! We are a big family and every penny matters. Got rice service, horrible management, and awful products. I will never shop here again…ever again!!

We should be able to give a review without giving a star! Google needs to fix this! As far as Big Lots goes, I'll never walk into this place again! They don't want our business! I've gotten attitude 3 times in store and now, my wife gets attitude over the phone. We've ordered a table and chairs 3 times now, through them and always an issue and now more attitude!!!!!! Big Lots, you need to train your personnel to be respectful and helpful!

Asked an employee if they had more large patio umbrellas in stock, he was nice to go look for us. He never came back with an answer for us. Told assistant manage of the store....he was like no they have no more. Said that it would have been good customer service had the employee returned to let us know so we weren’t waiting for about 10 minutes. He could of cared less so I guess we don’t need to shop there again. Customer service must be a thing of the past & this is forcing people like us that want to shop at the stores in our community, to shop online.

Went to look at mattresses. Found one we liked, but they didn't have any twins. Was told it would take ONE YEAR to get delivered!! How ridiculous is that! Needless to say, we went somewhere else and got a twin delivered in 4 days.

More Knowledgeable Staff then Other Locations! Didn't Have To Explain their Expected Job Duties! Cameron and Dan at this Saginaw store and pretty much every employee I have come across at this particular location are not just friendly but helpful and knowledgeable too! Unlike many many other locations throughout this state.

They have good stuff at good prices...But some of the products don't last very long..So it looks nice and they give you a fair deal, but if you want something of good quality pay more and go somewhere else....

Just bought a sofa and a love seat.Was happy with how the store looked but our "sales man" was a complete dick. His name was Gene,id advise not to have him help with anything. He is not nice AT ALL

It's a very clean store I had a good experience with the sales personnel gave me all the information that I required I was wanting one of those big boy chairs that's real wide to sit in comfortable chair so I'll be back to get it I just want to have the information about it they are real nice people and it's a nice clean place to go I recommend it to everyone

Big lots in Bay City is awesome The I believe his name is Ken who helped me in the furniture department was just wonderful patient and took time to explain things to me and move furniture around so I could see what they look like. I went to Saginaw and I left their so angry I'd never go back. I was told in Saginaw that this man was the emergency floor manager and he can't help anyone which I found out that is not true. So I will shop in Bay City never step another foot in Saginaw.

I love big lots. Especially around holidays. One of the best mattresses we ever owned was from here at a great price. Other furniture... Not so good. It might look good, might sport a 'name brand' and be priced good but shoddily made and won't last. But of all the products they sell the furniture is the only downfall the rest is awesome! Sometimes the Saginaw store is pretty disheveled but... It's Saginaw.

Not once did any employee say hi or did i need help. They just sat around talking. I was going to buy a table but i couldnt get the guy right next to me to help so i left for good. Wont be back. Walmart from now on. Kids today are lazy.
