I want to thank the guy who works here, unfortunately I don't know his name, it was 16/10/23/5:30 in the morning, I had my first delivery here. He didn't wake me up, he unloaded where I parked, it gave me some rest, he even put the seal on the next delivery himself, I didn't have to do it myself. He did the work for me. Had a grooming appointment for my dog. They didn't blow her dry nor did they cut her nails as requested. She's a 30 lb dog and they said she was too stressed. She has been groomed at PetSmart before with no problem. I will not be back.

My first puppy and Petco got us squared away. The coupon booklet is definitely a money saver. Plus the store is super clean with tons of supplies and other pets. The staff is friendly and helpful!

Very clean and organized. Knowledgeable staff and friendly service. I came to purchase fish and frogs for my aquarium. I'd previously shopped at pet supplies plus and was very disappointed with the treatment of their fish and animals in their stores. But this place was great. Tanks were clean and well cared for.

I just took my puppy for a full cut. He's been groomed before and been fine. The cut is uneven, the face is horrible and his temperament is off. For $70 never again.

I recently moved to the Royal Oak area from Florida. Previously, I had a bad experience when I had my former dog groomed at PetSmart. This was an excellent experience. My dog is shy. The groomer took her time to calm Lucy down. I appreciated her kindness. Lucy did fine. She looks beautiful and will return in a few months to have her groomed again. Again, I appreciate her kindness to Lucy.

It took me a while to leave this review. Chelsie H. groomed my dog and she basically shaved all of his hair off to his skin. She’s lazy. Not only that she gave me papers saying that my dog was misbehaving and charged me a 40 dollar handling fee. My dog has been going to groomers since he’s been of age. He’s a curly doggy but I’ve had groomers that DO THEIR JOB if you can’t handle curly hair dogs then don’t be a groomer. She also tried to diagnose my dog and after going to the Vet he literally didn’t have what she claimed he did. I literally want to dispute the charge because of her lazy work. Don’t book with her she likes to remind you how she’s been doing it for 20 years but she just shaved my dog down I could have done that my damn self.

The gentleman that helped me was very knowledgeable to my pet needs and had such a great attitude . Everything he recommended worked. I will definitely shop there more often. My apologies I missed his name but he had very cool hair gray high top.

Staff was attentive and friendly even in our present trying circumstances. Smaller store so don't come looking for a pet show or a training area. That said, it is well laid out and we'll stocked for dogs and cats. Modestly stocked for exotics and garden feeders. For a quick in and out to get your essential pet stuff an altogether pleasant place to shop.

Had a great experience stopping in at my local location. Everyone in the store was so friendly and helpful. I needed assistance locating a product and the lady working came over and helped me find what I was looking for. Also - they had the sweetest kitties looking to be adopted. Can't wait for my next visit in.

The groom salon is awful. Always booked up- got an appointment over a month out, and then they called a couple days before to tell me they couldn’t keep the appointment. The staff has been rude to me several times. One groomer told me she would call when they had about 15 min left. She called and I was there within 20 min, then she threatened to fine me because I “took too long” getting there. The grooming services are over priced anyway- you’re better off going to a local groomer.

Walk ins welcome for nail trimming is such a convenient option! I was able to get my pups nails taken care of while I got more treats that I can only find at this location. Plus they were super fast. All of The staff were helpful and friendly!! Thanks team!

It is a wonderful pet store, you can buy animals or adopt them, and you can buy all sorts of things your animals may need. For instance I bought my cute little Guinea pig pup here!

I came in with my puppy as a walk in service for his paw pads to be trimmed. I called ahead to check on a good time to bring him in. I explained to them he has only had professional grooming one other time. Once they started working on him I figured it would take maybe 10-15 min as he is only 28 lbs and there were 2 ladies with him. About 25 minutes went by and I started to wonder why it was taking so long as the 2 ladies had not been working on any other animal other than my own. I watched for a bit to see if he was being aggressive or overly difficult. He was crying and whining but nothing over the top aggressive. About 10 min later another lady steps out from the back and I ask her if the person working on My dog is new and she says yes she is but she is being supervised by a more experienced groomer. 5 min later they bring him out, front paws look great back paws still had long fur so I ask them to clean it up a bit more, but have someone else do it. They take him back and 5 min later paws look great. So here’s my issue: why would you put someone new with a puppy who has only had their paws done one other time??! I understand they have to train but put them with a dog who has had their paws done many times. A chill dog, an experienced dog.. NOT a puppy who is new to the grooming world. Who now has that 45 minute poor experience to remember the next time I take him in. what a terrible call and thing to have a puppy sit thru. Really disappointed with the whole experience.

So. The 3 star. Is ONLY because this is a tiny satellite location. It's great for specific STAPLES that you are used to getting and are top choices. But because of size if you need a one time specialty item. Not so much.However store is clean and bright. Easily accessible and staff is VERY knowledgeable and friendly ( first time I've been SAD to have to give 3 stars. Cause if I could rate each aspect they'd get a 5 for everything except specialty product availability )

I do n ot normally shop at petsmart. I had some major issues with the one that used to be at 14 and van dyke. My daughter introduced me to this particular store and I absolutely love the staff. They have everything I need and are exceptional people.

When I got home today, I found that my cat had been puking heavily when I was gone. I realized that her hairball medicine was empty, and I ran into PetSmart. I got there at 7.02, and I had no right to get in since it was after the closing time.However, the lady closing the store listened to me and allowed me in, the transaction took 12 seconds but she did not have to do it. A few minutes ago, I got home, gave my cat the medicine, and she is now sleeping peacefully.I don't know your name, but thank you so much. The world is a better place thanks to people like you.

Always like going here for my dog's care I love the grooming services and vet care. I have my dog on the insurance plan offered through Banfield and its a great prevention plan saves big money his shots are covered and he gets an annual teeth cleaning, other services you may need are at significant discount or no cost at all. It is very worth the money and they offer a variety of coverage plans so very affordable.

This will be the last time I go here for grooming. Im a Shih tzu mom and have been for the past 20+ years. I know how this breed should be groomed for a shorter cut. My previous groomer retired. I took my new Shih tzu in for a cut at petsmart. Even brought a picture! An absolute disaster of a cut. Paws uneven. Body fur uneven. Face uneven, ears not even cleaned, and her rear end is shaved! And not in a good way! My last dog (golden doodle) had these beautiful long eye lashes and I specifically reminded the groomer (petsmart again) to not cut them. She did. Looked awful.Case in point- if you are looking for a good hair cut/groomer, go elsewhere. I should know better but this place is down the street. Convenient for a busy mom with many jobs. Ive learned my lesson today though. Its a “chop shop” for grooming.

I was looking for the canned food my dog loves. My regular vendors had been out for weeks. They had a large quantity in stock. The prices were very good. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I plan to make them my permanent supplier.
