Huge selection, friendly staff. Store is always well stocked. Usually not busy. They offer vital care for my dog which is $19.99 a month and I get $15 off anything coupons every month and 10% of food. Totally pays for itself. I think it's 20% off grooming. My dogs favorite store. And they have a nice refrigerator section of dog food (my dog has severe allergies and switching from kibble that has nothing but fillers to a whole food human grade diet. If your dog has a chicken allergy, make sure you read the ingredients because most are labeled fish etc, but contain chicken smh. Even the top shelf expensive brands. Absolutely love the grooming department! Thank you Nittaya for being Sparky and Goliath's groomer.

Great service - never have any complaints about this location. ( Masonic & Gratiot ) They have very knowledgeable staff, they’re compassionate about their jobs & what they do. Never felt like an inconvenience asking any staff members for help. Always a good shopping experience every time I come here.

Bought this little chameleon there. Didnt plan on getting a new pet but couldnt turn down a great deal. The girls (staff) there answered all my questions and concerns. They know their lizards and were very friendly and informative. 5 stars!

PLEASE PLEASE do not take your dog here to get groomed. Please read all the reviews on Facebook and on here before thinking of taking your pet to get groomed. My dog got a terrible uneven haircut and they try to charge $62 for a horrible cut. The reviews I've read are horrific from hitting the dogs and for letting a dog go and the owner could not find him and how they butcher the dogs hair. Don't put your dog through this and go elsewhere. Petco does notcare. I tried contacting corporate and they do nothing! Never will I go back to this place.

Beth was a sweetheart!! She took great care of my puppy yorkie miss Royal!! Royal looked and smelted amazing when I picked her up from being serviced!! I will definitely return in 6-8 weeks as Mrs. Beth suggested. I really hope that I can continue to have Beth as my groomer for Royal. SHE ROCKS!!!!!!

Always in & out fast. Clean & the critters usually seem well cared for and not in dirty cages. The adoption center always makes me a lil sad but It's nice that they offer it to help the cats find a furever home!

The worst thing this location has ever did was get rid of Kim. The new groomers have no clue what to do. I will not be returning because when i ask for my dog to me cut a certain way don't tell me you have to cut all her hair off. She has had long hair for four years. Honestly take your pet somewhere else. If anyone is looking for Kim I found her after a month long search at petsmart on little mack. Thank me later

This is strictly the salon not the store after making an appointment for my animal over a week ago and then receiving multiple text, confirming this appointment even the day of at 9:37am States looking forward to seeing you. I show up with my animal 15 minutes prior and waited patiently. Then the appointment time arrived waited 10 more minutes after waiting , it took another employee from inside the store to go inside the salon to talk to the groomer Reggie, after what was said which I was not aware of it’s amazing how he waved me in as he was putting the other animal away, he signed my pet in after we had a discuss of what I wanted done and that was it hour and a half goes by after doing some shopping I stop by to see how things we’re going that is when I found out that my dog was locked up the whole entire time that I had dropped him off . Was I upset at absolutely no haircut no bath no nail trim no brushing teeth. They took him from me and put him in a cage and left him there and supposedly every hour on the hour they give your animal water that sounds like boarding I was not paying for boarding I was paying for service that never got done, so was I upset? Absolutely Why have rules and regulations in a business if the employees are not gonna follow they had three people there so they can’t tell me their short staff don’t overbook. Don’t tell me about this 3 to 4 hour thing after I come in to check in so after my dogs been there for an hour and a half I’m being told it’s gonna be another 3 to 4 hours , this is a place where they make the rules as they go that is not professional, honest business next time you drop your pet off do a Pop in and see where your pet is at? Just remember, pets have rights to and my pets rights was violated and the trust was broken. Caging an animal without the permission of the owner is unacceptable.

The bag of food I had delivered was no good. I was offered a 30% off coupon if I did online shipping. So I ordered online everything was fine when I got the bag the feed was mushy like it had been wet. I took it to the store to do an even exchange 2 days later. And they made me pay the 30% off that I got originally to do the exchange. I’ve never had this problem with any other store. All I was trying to do was an even exchange. Will not be shopping at this store anymore!Update:After calling corporate they refunded me the charge that the store made me pay.

I went in to pick up a winter coat or two for my dog. Most of the selection consisted of pullovers, which are not conducive to older dogs. He needed the Velcro kind, which I did find. Not a lot of selection, but I did find two.Also picked him up a new toy, which he absolutely loves!

Took my dog Toots into be groomed for the first time ever in her life. She looked beautiful when I picked her up. She was soft, very fluffy and not stressed out. Groomer said she is so well behaved. Made me proud as a pet Dad to hear that.

This place was great until the last couple years. I loved the staff super friendly, even at it’s busiest the line moved swiftly, always made sure the shelves were stocked. Now however they run with almost no staff and with the exception of a few people the staff tries their best to avoid customers or in general it seems like they are trying to be unapproachable. They are consistently out of stock on dog food and have changed their dog aisles so that they are actually harder to find products unless you are looking for only the most expensive items. With the amount of pet stores in this area I suggest you go to a different store or at least a different location. It’s really disappointing because this was once my favorite pet store.

I Enjoy Shopping There One They Have A Clearance Area I Just Purchased My Dog A Dog Pool I Was Extremely Excited WHY I Found It In The Clearance Area for 50% Off yep, I Even Found My Dod A Couple Of Dog wipes yep I use them To Remove The Dried Up Sleep on The Sides of Her Eyes, I purchase The Dog Wipes For Her Paws To Keep Them Clean After She Goes Out To Use The Bathroom, and Dog Treats My Dog Loves The Sweet Potatoe Dog Chews,I purchase The Nail Grinders Because I Don't Use The Nail Clippers My Opinion They Hurt Her Nails & The Grinder Is Much Easier I Also Purchase The Probics Soft Chews And A Variety Of Calming Treats, & Calming Vest, fish Supples Any/ Hamster Supples, Even Has Adopting Area For Cats,Rabbits, Etc Anything A Pet Owner Needs Even Live Cricets yep

I have been going here for years and they are amazing!; I always ask for Beth, my oversized Pomeranian gets excited to go, I think he feels like it's a spa day. They care and love animals and it's nice to see they treat the animals with patience and love. All of the groomers are amazing😊.
