I've taken my puppy here for two training classes, and he just had his first daycare session today as well. Everyone at Happy Dog Acres is super friendly and genuinely cares about the dogs. The training program is really fun and top notch, and Cosmo had a total riot in daycare today. Kudos to everyone at this facility, I cannot recommend it enough

My boy Luke loves spending time at Happy dog acres, even if it's for the day or a night or two. He has a lot of room to run and my who is a coonhound definitely needs it.Kelly and the girls are absolutely wonderful with all the dogs and keep them very safe.

I have two very energetic German shorthair pointers. One with Addison disease, the other is still recovering from a traumatic injury approx 1 yr ago. (Severed achilles tendon and repair) she has some pretty bad separation anxiety. However, with the love and care of the staff at happy dog acres they both were happy healthy upon pickup. It was our first good kennel experience. We will definitely be going back! They helped ease my anxiety as we were going out of state by sending photos of them playing in the yard! Fabulous job all around!

We rarely need to board our dogs, but our son was getting married in Northern Michigan and we found Happy Dog Acres. Could not have been a better experience! We received photos of our dogs and an update while they were there, which we greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this caring place!!

What a great experience. The staff was great! They were very perceptive, could see the stress signals our dog was presenting and took extra time to sit with her for a long period and help her feel comfortable in the new environment. Super caring and good with our pup. Thank you.

We love Happy Dog Acres and so does our dog. We never feel bad about leaving our GSP there. We like that the dogs get plenty of exercise and outdoor time. When our dog is there on longer stays they will send pictures so we know he's doing well. Great place and great people.

I do the day care service (and an occasional overnight). Kelly and James are amazing with my drop off and pick up times. I have an Australian Shepherd who is very high energy. When I get him back from day care, his energy is levels are much lower!! He comes home and takes a nap, and we will do our normal 2.5 mile walk before it gets dark. It takes a lot of stress off me so I am not coming home and rushing to get all of his energy out. They are very professional and do an amazing job. I would 10/10 recommend!

Our dog had a great first stay at Happy Dog Acres. Kelly was very accommodating and willing to work with our rescue dog. She sent us a video and picture to comfort us that he was doing fine. He had play time and walks throughout the day. Would definitely use again!

We love having this kennel so close to the cottage on Higgins Lake. They’re friendly, flexible, reasonably priced and obviously love caring for pets. It was a flawless experience. We will be back next season.

Kelly was so kind and took great care of our 2 year old poodle-mix for doggy daycare. Before we left we saw our dog jumping up on her and giving her kisses... and our dog is usually shy with people! This made us feel so good about leaving him with her for the day. When we got back she had him out in the yard for playtime. We would definitely suggest Happy Dog Acres if you need somewhere to drop off your beloved doggo for a day. Thank you Kelly!
