Pulled in hoping they would have pizza by the slice on a Saturday afternoon, nope.So i went to order a pizza, said it would take 45 minutes to make.So i settled on an Italian sub...... Very pedestrian at best. Really not very good.Still trying to find that little gem in Higgins lake, this is not it.

Country Corners is an "off the beaten path" eatery that should be experienced at least once when you're at Higgins Lake. Now, I'm not someone to rave about a double cheeseburger with bacon, but wow! It's exactly what a cheese bacon double should be. Great flavor, fresh toppings, juicy. Order the fry basket and you'll have a meal that definitely hits the spot! The price is close to what you'd expect these days, but the quality is damned well worth it. Earlier, I said you should try it at least once. I know I'll be going back again. Pretty sure you would, too.

The food here was exceptional and was the service! When our large group arrived, they were almost out of donuts but they offered to make us a customized order on the spot. They also let us know that we could call ahead next time to place an order for pickup. The owners were incredibly friendly and super helpful! The pizza was also great. Highly recommend the chocolate cake donuts with chocolate frosting. We went back multiple times during our vacation and look forward to returning next time we’re in the area!

We get pizza most lake weekends and always here. They have great crust that is buttery and just a bit garlicky. Toppings are plentiful. Make sure you order way in advance or you may end up eating late.

The gentleman that took our order was very pleasant. However, our Hawaiian pizza had no ham or sauce on it. Flavor was extremely bland. We also ordered a supreme pizza. We were told that they were out of Italian sausage but that they would substitute bacon. There was no bacon nor did the crust have the butter herb flavor we were told it would have. The pizza was mediocre at best. A very disappointing waste of time and money.

The freshest donuts! (Made to order if you call ahead.) Pizza and ice cream are fabulous, too! Suggest that you allow extra time when ordering pizza on weekend nights, they are very popular.Owners are very friendly, accomodating, and welcoming! 👍👍👍

The best large supreme pizza I've had in a very long time. We just moved here and learning some places to go and this is a definite place we're going to get our pizza from. Just the right amount of sauce, not too much, which is the way we like it.

They have very good food: a pizza burger, sub type of menu. They also have built a market cafe next door for breakfast food and market items. Very nice combination..Parking: There is limited parking in front of the two buildings. Probably can hold 7 to 9 cars.

They have Ashley's ice cream, which is really good and generous size scoops. The pizza is very popular. Can dine in or carry out. They now have coffee and espresso drinks tooParking: Free parking out front.

Great little place run by super nice couple. Have 3 booths to sit inside or umbrella tables outside. Got grilled chicken salad and it was excellent. Nice ripe tomatoes and crispy romaine lettuce. Ordered small and had enough leftover for dinner tonight. Also, it is nice not to drive all the way to Roscommon or Houghton Lake to get a restaurant style salad.

We spent the weekend at Higgins Lake and visited Country Corners Pizza for two weekend meals. We started our Saturday morning with their amazing breakfast pizza, coffee (Higgins Lake Coffee Company) and doughnuts. Everything was delicious and started off our day perfectly. We even bought a bag of coffee to brew at home it was so good.Then we visited for dinner on Sunday and had Hawaiian pizza, antipasti salad, and bosco sticks. If you are in the Higgins Lake area, visit Country Corners - you will not be disappointed!!

Great people and great pizza/salad!! We have been coming here for almost a year and a half since G’s Pizza went out of business. We are on the north shore of Houghton Lake, and this is by far the best pizza in the area!!! Thank you!!!!

Tasty, hearty, punctual and affordable!! So good I came back the next morning for coffee and delicious ice cream before leaving town. Fantastic restaurant run by genuinely wonderful people!
