Great one stop shop for all your home project needs. A massive selection of hardware ensures you'll always be able to find the specific nut or bolt that you can't seem to find at the larger big box hardware stores. On top of their great selection, the staff will go above and beyond to help you locate an item, and are extremely knowledgeable with whatever project I'm taking on that week.

During the Peach Festival, our car battery died while parked in Ace Hardware’s lot. We were about 90 minutes from home too. Devin and Nate of Ace took time away from the store to look for jumper cables to give us a jumpstart, even for a non-customer. They went way above and beyond to make sure we could get home. We are forever grateful for their compassion and generous spirit.

Been shopping here a lot this year and I just moved to BruceTwp. So I applied for a “house account”. I completed the application back in November and finally received a call from Sue. I missed the call and came into the store and the store manager called her. She had him ask me a series of questions in front of employees and other clients. Turns out she didn’t even check with my references after having my application for over 6 weeks. Owning 11 properties and 46 units, you think Stones Ace would appreciate my business. The staff are very nice. I’ll be shopping elsewhere moving forward.

I headed into Stone’s with pieces of a trellis I had ordered in the mail, intending to ask for help finding fasteners I thought were missing from my order. Realized I actually had the correct parts all along—the guys at Stone’s Ace patiently and helpfully worked with me to put together a product that was not theirs and that didn’t involve a purchase from them. Now that’s great customer service!!

Well managed location with friendly staff. I have come here twice to buy storage bins and both times they led me to the right box right away and I was in and out in less than five minutes. My only complaint is the store is hard to find. Otherwise I have no complaints.

I have been coming to this store for years and it has always been a great experience. Immediate and friendly customer service must be their credo. You never need to wait more than a minute or two before a friendly and knowledgeable clerk is there to assist. They seem to have everything! I'd like to give a special shout out to Devon, who has helped me on many occasions. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly very patient with my many questions. He always makes sure i find what I need, even if I'm not quite sure what that is when I get there! Many thanks Devon!!

This review is well over due. I’ve had a business in Romeo for the last 22 years. Every time I go into Stones Ace with a problem there is always an immediate solution. Devin is almost always the person who helps me. He is patient, kind & extremely knowledgeable. What I really admire about Devin is his positive attitude. You can tell he is dedicated & loves his job. Finding a solution is always at the forefront of Devin’s mission. Devin is my go to person & the main reason I go to Stones Ace in Romeo.

I frequently shop at the Ace Hardware store in Romeo, but lately have been even more impressed with the service I have received. The staff immediately offered assistance, checking to see if I needed help. Not only was I directed to the location, but accompanied so that it simplified the process. I explained what I needed to accomplish and was offered additional solutions, one of which was far better than the idea I had in mind. The next time I went - about a week later - not only did I receive similar service, but my previous project was remembered and asked about. I could have managed getting my purchases to the car, but I was assisted with that as well. The items in stock were what I needed and I was offered the opportunity to special order the others with a turn around of only 2 days. Much appreciated and a good reason to shop locally.

I am the owner of this store. I regret that this customer had such a bad experience. I would just like to say that we had an equally bad experience with him and we are not unhappy that he will not be shopping with us anymore. It's actually a relief. If you have ever worked retail you know how some customers can behave. He was a terrible and horrible customer. Rude and vulgar. I know that you may not expect an owner to make a comment like this but I want to support my staff and every person who works retail. He is the kind of customer who ruins your day and is unnecessarily rude and cruel. He was very rude to my staff and I support my people in this situation unconditionally. Come give us a try at customer service and courtesy and knowledgable sales personnel and make your own judgement. I'm sorry that I had to make these comments about a customer but I will defend my staff completely and unconditionally when an unfair public comment has been made. Beware of Steve Jones. Not a nice guy!
