Well, I was there with my grandma and my grandma has IBS and she asked to use the bathroom and the lady would not let her use the bathroom we were shopping there and the lady was rude I’ve never seen anything like that before and you should be ashamed of yourself to have employees that are rude to elderly people like that I will never go there again. I’ll do my business somewhere else. Oh, and let you guys know that was at the Dollar General on 10 mile in Rockford Michigan.

The manager is rude! Went in for a snack, got fourpackages, which rang up wrong. Displayed ad clearly stated buy three get one free. I told the the cashier about the posted ad. She she quickly was taking it off my order. And explained to manager that they needed to remove the sign. Manager states that you have to have digital coupon. I go over to make sure I'm not loosing it. And proceed to show manager the sign. She stands and yells give her a refund and that she will have to send her boss a picture. No apology, no sorry for wasting me while I stand and wait again for a refund.Where have simple manners gone. Very disappointed in people.

The store was disorganized, cluttered and appeared dirty. Their items were not displayed in a manner which made it easy to find. Many of their items were either out of stock, strewn about the floor, or damaged. The aisles were blocked by the store's stocking/supply carts or misplaced display shelves.This review/rating is being made after multiple visits over the course of a year, with no improvement. While it is a dollar store, the experience shouldn't feel "cheap".

Management team here needs to be replaced. Sitting around talking on their personal cellphone while the regular employees struggled. Not sure if they were on their break but if so keep it off the sales floor. Employee had to ask the manager a question and was forced to wait as the line grew longer for the manager to stop chit chatting on the phone

If I could rate it zero stars I would. I was attempting to buy dry shampoo and there was a coupon for 50% off under it. I took it up front and it did not ring up correctly. The cashier then said I guess that isn’t the deal today then. I said there is a coupon directly under the shampoo. He said can you show me where I don’t know where it is. He said the “manager” would fix the price for us. She came up and refused to fix it. We did not buy it. Horrible customer service, the store was a mess. I will not be back.

Okay. Good for a quick stop. Dim lighting and short-staffed during apparent peak times (1 staff member around 5pm). They sell wine and beer here though, so that was cool :)

I was there on 01/25/2019. I normally love Dollar General but today I was mad. Empty Shelves every where in the store. Dirty floors. 3 employee s had time to stand around and visit but not help customers or stock shelves. Very mad at this point. Not sure I will go back.

Worst service ever! I actually found that I was overcharged before leaving the store and the person in charge "Samantha" refused to correct the price. Told me I would have to come back and have someone else do it. She was very snotty and did not want to be bothered by or help her other employees. The store was a mess, making it difficult to really walk through.Not impressed.

Not the nicest Dollar General I have been in. Walking around this store I felt like I was on an episode of 'Hoarders'; products tossed everywhere including the floors. I almost tripped several times. The Staff is ok.....that is if you like cigarette smoke hitting you in the face as you leave the building while the stores employee is blasting some kind of Hee-Haw event from her phone with more swear words than a Marine Corps Drill Instructor finding one of his recruits mothers sent him a Hello Kitty notepad in the mail.

Of the five Dollar Generals (that I am aware of) near or north of 10 mile road in Kent county this is our least favorite. The product selection is ok and its location is likewise ok.The problem has been that the staff seems to be too preoccupied doing ? to have someone monitoring the registers. My wife had to wait several minutes for assistance. Another customer who was also waiting got so tired of waiting that they left their items on the counter and left. This waiting experience has happened more than once.We likely will not return.

Place is pretty much a dump, could barely walk down any of the aisles with so much stuff on the ground and in the way. Prices were also not as marked and got charged more for some of our items.

When I asked the clerk if she had a particular product and if there was a chance she could take a peak in the back to see if they had more, I was told that whatever was on the shelf was what they had. Didnt even take the effort to even look in the back, pure lazyness and dad that something that would have taken two seconds for her to do resulted in me leaving not only without what I needed but with thoughts of not wanting to even return to the location due to the lack of customer service

The company apparently doesn't allow enough staff to sufficiently run this store in Sparta.The staff are so very helpful and its hard to see how they have to work.

The store was clean, the employees that are spoke with was helpful and I found what I needed right away in. Nice to have a local store clothes like this to the house for QuikTrips

Kind of disorganized. Items wanted not available. Charmin strong toilet paper with bear photo a knock off. Tissue did not have imprints as original. Shame on u selling this

This is a smaller store than some, but they still have a nice selection and the staff is always friendly when I'm there.

I like going in the Dollar General actually the baking items is a lot cheaper than a regular grocery store where you pay a dollar for powdered sugar and a regular grocery store you pay more money
