I can't go by this place without stopping. Their baked goods are the best in the area. Bar none! In 1976, I purchased the Lowell bakery and use these very recipes for my baked goods then. Those owners opened this bakery and still use the original recipes made from scratch. Trust me when I say these might be the best donuts you ever ate!

Great selection first thing in the morning. Beautiful big donuts. I’m excited to eat these at break time. $21 dozen. The box is even big. Lol!

Edit/Update...previous was 1 Star review. Decide to stop by today and give it another try, now a few years later. Appeared clean and staff friendly. Sandwich and cookie were tasty ! Will be back ! Bummed, just ordered cheeseburger.Cashier took money & gave change w/latex gloves on,then proceeded to make food with same gloves.It was burger ,so as you can imagine all ingredients were handled by those grubby gloves.Very disappointed,food is good but this time went in the trash.Wont be going back!

Its a bakery how can you not love it. There breads are so fluffy. With the location and how well the product is the price is what keeps me coming back I rather buy my bread and buns from them then Meijer or Walmart.

Family was excited to try this place out and have been curious for many years. Unfortunately the experience was awful. We were not greeted by anyone when we walked in. Employee helping us with doughnuts appeared to not have any knowledge on the baked items. Our pastry was stale and rubbery like. It was not edible. Upon leaving there was not thank you or goodbye from staff. This place was a disappointment and we certainly had higher expectations.

This is a great local donut spot. The donuts and pastries are huge and well made! The only reason for the 4 vs. 5 stars is that the coffee and food items are not as good as the pastry items. The coffee is actually pretty terrible. ;) But if you go in knowing it's just diner style coffee, then nbd. The breakfast sandwiches are good if you're in a rush. The eating area is cute and full of regulars. Overall, it's a staple in the area, has friendly and helpful staff, and the best donuts around.

Absolutely the best bakery around for that sweet tooth of yours! The ready-to-go breakfast sammys make for a quick bite and are still soo good. Donuts are MASSIVE and also the best I've had. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is top-notch.Edit: forgot about the dog treats! Our doggos love em!

My family has been coming to this bakery since I moved to the Rockford Area (23 years) These are by far the best donuts I've ever had. When I moved out of state I searched for donuts like these but was so disappointed in the quality of pastries. They are not only larger in size but they just have a better quality taste then any other donut shop I've been too. If you want a family Mom and pop donut shop experience this is the place to go. The staff are friendly the coffee is hot and the donuts are amzinly delicious.

Great donuts nice people. Always a nice treat. I've been coming here since I was in high school. That place is changed hands at least once that I know of. They expanded to multiple locations. But the donuts are always fantastic. If you were passing by and would like a treat definitely stop. It has that family-run atmosphere. Because it is. It is not a big establishment with a lot of high-tech gadgets to make their donuts. Some of the best I've ever had.

great place you should support, some of the donuts are just huge and I dont prefer some as they're covered in frosting and bacon maple etc. Makes me feel full and sick but I know people love that stuff. Great service always throws deals on dozens and even 10 cents a donut before they close. Lots of options coffee sandwiches and lots of seating never crowded.

This place has the best baked goods in town! I remember as a child I used to beg my mom to take me to Bostwick Bakery to get a strawberry strudel. They had those today and it did not disappoint at all! It was the best strawberry strudel I have had. So much nostalgia!

A little more expensive than your average donut. But, when you see how big they are you'll understand. Great selections and friendly staff make this a great place to feed a group of donut connoisseurs.

This is a great local bakery. All the donuts are amazing, but I recommend the fried cinnamon rolls. Choose your favorite frosting. The hidden gem of this bakery is that they also make breakfast sandwiches and hamburgers for lunch. These are served on their own fresh made rolls which are the best rolls in West Michigan. Really a great all around.

These long-johns are the absolute best! Their staff (owner included) is extremely accommodating and willing to make things right no matter what. Can't wait to get more donuts every week! Yeah, you have to get there early, but that's because they're so awesome!

This is an old-fashioned donut shop. Really you could call it an old-fashioned small cake shop because the donuts are that large. The frostings and fillings, especially the putting in the chocolate eclair, are amazing. They make really nice breakfast sandwiches too. Unfortunately, the coffee could be better. I bet if they served a higher end coffee it would be a hit. Right now it's more like your standard diner type coffee - kind of water down tasting.The staff are extremely personable and friendly and helpful. Definitely enjoy the overall experience and will keep coming back now that we live in the Rockford area.

Cool local bakery with an expansive selection of donuts and other various pastries. Good value for your money. I took off a star because the sometimes the donuts and cinnamon rolls seem overly-sweet, but I will still be going there because of its value and convenience.

The decor needs a little updating but why would you need to do that with a pandemic and no inside customers? The confections though are seriously worth the trip! This is one of the best donut shops ever!

We placed an online order two days in advance. When I came in to pick it up they acted like they didn’t know what I was talking about. They found my order ticket eventually then said “oh we wouldn’t have had any of these anyway, we sold out early”. I told them I ordered two days in advance so they would be held for me and their excuse was their online system must not be working right. I got different leftover donuts instead. They were dry and very disappointing. Never going back there.

One of my favorite bakeries! So glad we have one in the GR area now too after moving away from Rockford. Friendly staff and big ol doughnuts at both locations that are yummy. Just recently found out they will add any toppings you want as well. Ty!

Gross. That pretty much sums up the donuts we got. They were definitely day old donuts, dry, hard, nasty tasting donuts. Who puts orange marmalade in their fritters? Pretty sad for a brand new bakery location. To say the least, we won't be buying them again. If your product doesn't get better, good luck staying open. Oh yeah, are those still frozen pastries?

Went in for the first time and they were slammed! Donut rack was picked through, except for a couple of the traditionally less popular options. One of which being chocolate frosted custard filled long johns. So I asked if they were cream filled (by the way, these are called cream sticks, not long johns, that’s just a weird Michigan thing, it’s cream stick everywhere else lol) anyways......the very pleasant person working said, oh no sorry those are custard filled but if you want cream filled I can make some up for you right now!!!!!I was honestly surprised by how friendly and genuine she was, so I reluctantly said yeah if you don’t mind I’ll take 2, and she smiled politely and said no problem at all. Super refreshing to experience such awesome customer service! Def will be a repeat customer......oh and ps, the donuts were awesome!!!
