Lived near the store as a teen and always loved the food. Went back as an adult today to grab a reminder of childhood only to find a rude man, malfunctioning card reader, and Bosco sticks I couldn’t even bite through because they were so old. Should have read Vinny’s review before I came back.Update: My mouth is now swollen in places where the Bosco stick was so hard on the bite I tried, that it actually wounded me. 🙃

No longer much of a convenient stop. Owners are awfully rude to not only employees but customers also, any item you’d wanna purchase will be 20% more expensive than any other gas station in Gratiot county, and since they’ve chased off their long time cook the food’s not even worth the stop. Save a few bucks AND your time and shop elsewhere.

Only reason I gave this dude one star was to write this review ... I have lived in between elm hall and Riverdale for 24 years.I have never refused to spend my money locally but this guy will never get another cent! Rude unprofessional and definitely doesn't need to be dealing with any business involving customer service.

Bob made it perfect and Mike is keeping it real.Best pizza in the area.Only place to get b & g during hunting season before 7am.And where else in the area are you gonna have a chance to run into your baby's daddy's cousins momma!It's like our own little town hall!

Never had it happen to me but owner is rude, over priced always expect gas for some reason to be 10-20 cent higher. I've lived in riverdale my whole life and have seen that store go through 4 owners and this is by far the worst. I'll never order another pizza from there because you never know based on how that stores day went if the deli is going to be open around dinner time. If it wasnt such a must go because most people in riverdale cant drive I doubt this place would even be in buisness. Take your money to M46 market way better people.

The owner Mike is VERY VERY rude. We had bought a large pizza and when we had gotten home we noticed it wasn't cooked all the way and very doughy. My mom actually called to explain about the pizza and MIKE the owner told her charity would be willing to eat it if she wasn't and hung up on her. Never will they get my buisness or my family's buisness anymore. He is by far the rudest "owner" i have ever met. He should not even be an owner at all!

The Store makes the best pizza and cheesy bread they also have chicken, potato wedges and lots of other yummy made to order food. Its not only a place to fill up your vehicles you can also buy grocery items at The Store too.

I work at an AFC home , the owner is very disrespectful and rude to our disabled ladies , speaks poorly and down on them and has even made them cry .. and they spend a lot of their money there . I do not recommend this store nor the men who run it

Was a great little Country Store when Bob had it. Then he ended up selling it and it's kind of went downhill since. The new owners already sold it again but Bob has been there trying to make all this happen with a smooth transaction. Bless him...😊Who knows when the new owners take over again which is supposed to happen next week. Apparently a man from Edmore that owns a station there bought the one here in Elm HallToday is Wednesday September 26th, 2018.Update... November 22nd, 2018Changed my 3 * to a 1 *......The newest owners took over about 3 weeks ago now. A lot of people I know, including myself, refused to go in there any longer. The prices has gone up on everything, employees has quit. This place has turned into a Big Freaking Joke.Sure wished Bob still owned it....I'll make the trip into Sumner at Wilson's or The Spot in Vestaburg before I will ever return to THE STORE..BOYCOTT THIS PLACE

Prices went way up and food quality is horrible. Got a piece of pizza to go same price half the size and hard cheese . so sad. Its always empty now when I go by but I'm not surprised.

Great Store , Everyone is so nice , helpful hometown feeling , it sadness me to say thou The owner is selling the store and I think will lose the great customer service and the good pizzas only time will tell ! 😕

Great little store, have to go Saturday morning for some awesome turn overs! During deer season they open early with biscuits and gravy for us deer hunters.
