Usually their prices are higher than the big box stores but I found a 10 piece deep well metric socket set for $20!! I highly suggest looking through their bargain bins before going to "Big Orange"

This is a true family hardware store. I've been going here for over 20 years. I've never gotten bad service!!If you're not sure what you need, they will help you figure it out, and provide best options. And you'll get better pricing than the big box stores...

I have called several times looking for items, and most of the time, they were nice, but there are times that the guy is rude and plays like you're asking him to work by looking for an item, I'll be on hold and either he forgot your on hold or forgot the questions. This is an over priced store twice as much than home depot

Scott and his employees are the best. They help guys like me that need parts for home improvements but don't know how to do some jobs. They don't just grab the parts they explain how your goona use the part, what to look for and basically explain how to do most jobs. Excellent for guys like me that need help with plumbing and so on. Excellent customer care. They all hit ya at the same time. What can I help ya with today... Unlike Home depot where they just tell ya. You'll find what your looking for in Aisle 3....Love this place...Love the staff....Love supporting local Businesses.....

Old fashioned family run store with REAL people who actually WANT TO HELP YOU! Stocked full of every odd or end you need! And prices great. Couldn't believe I just brought in a nice sized window and to replace the double thermos panned glass was only $50!! And they install it! Very happy.

Went to the hardware store for extension cord and grinder blades. They had everything in stock I needed but when I went to cash out I asked about military discount the man said yes and tried to apply it he told me to put my debt card in now. So I did it the cash register claimed denied but the the card device said approved. He told me to put it in again I told him it was already approved and I pulled the transaction up on my bank app showing it was approved. He claimed not on the cash register side. So I asked for the manager and he told me to put my card back in and do another transaction with it. I told him no I already paid for the stuff and not going to paid again. He said at the end of the day he would deny the one transaction and only charge me for the one transaction. I said no I want a refund it that’s the case and claimed they couldn’t do a refund because the cash register denied the transaction. Why does it show the transaction on my bank side as a pending transaction? He couldn’t answer the question he just wanted me to pay him again for the items. So I called my bank to have them file a complaint. Will never step back into the hardware store ever again. They lost my company’s business.

Great local hardware store. Very friendly and helpful staff each and every time you are there. Staff has always shown an interest in whatever project I'm working on. It's the kind of place where you run into your neighbors and a 5 minute run turns into a half hour neighborhood chat .

Great people. Very helpful on all my projects around the house. They will help you with any project you have. Show you the parts to get. And they take the time to show you how to do the project. Not like Home Depot at all. I love supporting my local businesses. These guys are the best of the best. .....

I stopped by for keys. I asked how much and was told $2 each ( I saw the blanks sell for$1.49 so like $.51 for the cut) but they didn't have any of the keys I needed. I also had 2 car key blanks that I needed duplicated so I had the man take care of that. I went to the register and the woman said, to my shock, " that will be $20." They wanted $5 per cut(2per key) because I brought my own keys. That's TEN times the amount for the other key cut for each cut on my keys. If they would have told me that price (sorry it will be not $1 or $2 or $4 each but $10 per key) prior to my keys being cut, I would have walked out the door so fast it would still be swinging back and forth

Lozon is a family run business. I've been doing business their for over 50 years. Their a great bunch of people working there. I don’t agree with this now. Heaven forbid you have to return or exchange anything. They will give you a hard time. I told young clerk the grass seed is no good. He said we can’t give you your money back it open. Of course it’s open after 2 weeks no grass. I just wanted to exchange for something better but didn’t get that far young clerk threatened to call police. I said Lowe would take it back no questions. He said you’re not at Lowe’s . From now on I will take my business to Lowe’s or Home Depot. It a shame I’ve lived in River Rouge for 71 years. I shop at Lozon when they were on Henry street.

This location is okay for a quick stop to pick something up like I did furnace filters... the store is dirty cluttered and just not appealing to the eye... it's dark I really thought a rat was going to come out... they have cardboard all over the entrance and exit doors... for as long as this store has been in business seems like the owner can renovate this place for the community GIVE BACK AND STOP TAKING FROM THE COMMUNITY THEY MATTER.... THEIR MONEY MATTER TO YOU!

Great staff working. Very knowledgeable and very helpful. If things are not in stock they will normally get your item by the next if possible. I purchase all hardware needs from them as much as possible.

Some of their prices are higher than other stores but when you have no way to get to another store its ok. They are always polite and very helpful. Just tell them what you are trying to accomplish and they will do their best to get you everything you need for the job.
