Everyone who works here is friendly. Excellent selection of meat. I got a beautiful porterhouse that was cheaper then the big stores. I'd rather support a small local business any day. I'll continue to be a repeat customer, Highly recommend.

I come here when I ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO. Sadly it's the only grocery store in Rouge. The only problem I have is the prices. The prices are insane. U might as well shop at the gas station its the same thing. The staff tho are Amazing very helpful. The location is great for me anyways. Wish they were open alil later.

Please always check the expiration dates.. Convenient location but they almost never clear their shelves. You almost will always touch something that is expired 😩

Your store is in River Rouge not in Beverly Hills. Prices are way to high!

This market is ok, they have a nice variety of products but their prices are typical of a small market, a little higher than they need to be. The store itself is pretty clean & well lit. The employees are somewhat helpful, when you prompt them to be. Their clearance policy is nice because they do not require one to buy all of the product to get the deal. (I.E. 2 for price is half if you only want 1.) Parking is limited near the entrance, & overflow parking is on opposite side of the entrance, of the building.

8/01/2019 - I went to the deli counter to have ham sliced.The lady behind the counter is handling RAW chicken. She stopped bagging the RAW chicken, came over to the deli meats put on 1 glove and picked up the meat and put it on the slicer. At that point I say to her you can't be serious. You didn't wash your hands and you put on 1 glove. Then she tells me that she was about to wash her hands. She had already contaminated the meat that she was holding and the slicer. She also had a very nasty disposition. BTW she's the older white woman looks to be in her early 70's.I advise any and everyone that shops at this store not to buy meats that aren't pre-packed. This is the second time in a year that I've seen this happen at Bi-Rite Deli counter. There's know telling how many people have received cross contamination poisoning from this store.To the owners of Bi-Rite, it's time to have your butchers and deli help trained properly before you make someone really sick or cause a death.

Very helpful and friendly people that work there and they have wheel chair access too😁! Very clean and reasonable prices! Could you please see if you can order these brands for the store?!Cape May Brewery Crushin,Brewdog Elvis Juice,&Abita Brewing Purple Haze oh and one more Senor Sangria Classic Red!? Thanks again I will be there to get whatever I need they are polite I just don't know why some say that they look on people and think they are better than others?! Yeah they look down on me because I'm low and in my wheel chair so they have look down to me and talk with me lol but we always make eye contact so I Just wanted to say they don't think that they are better than others because if that was the case they would be out of work and the store would be out of business!! So don't believe everything you hear or see until you see for yourself in person!!👍😎👍 Everyone at that store ROCKS (AWESOME) PEOPLE Thank you for everything you do for the community!

I went into BiRites the other day and the meat was already put away and everything cleaned up. This very nice gentleman said he would get the hamburger for me and I appreciated it so much. So I think Kevin u r very lucky to have such a nice man like Ben to show ur customers how Birite will take good care of their customers. Thank u Ben.

Impressed with my first visit to this local grocery store. I thought the store was very clean and well stocked for the size of the store.I was thoroughly happy with my experience with the deli counter and the person taking my request. She was very courtious and helpful.I definitely recommend trying out this grocery store.

The employees are friendly and helpful.. but the quality of there products is super lacking. The vegetables and fruits on the verge of rotting. No way in the heck I would buy their meats... Not to mention ALL of there goods are over priced.

I love this store and everyone is so friendly. I wish the store was bigger . It would be nice to see the store relocate to the old sav a lot building on Jefferson in Ecorse. Maybe they would have a bigger group coming in . Just my opinion still love your store ❣️❣️❣️❣️💡🙏

Not the fanciest grocery store in town, but they have all of the basics and they also have everything that I need. A good place to go if you want to avoid the crowds at the bigger stores. Good meat counter and pretty good pizza too!

Well, I walked there this morning since it's in "my neck of the woods" I wanted and needed to get out of the house, it was very refreshing to walk among the morning sun even tho it was quite nippy. But, overall the store itself is A small local supermarket for quick pop-ins to grab some quick items. And... Of course, prices are A little high compare to other groceries stores and big name brands (chains competitors) like "Meijer, Krogers and Walmart" but, this is to be expected, since, it's A smaller store. The cashier lady was very friendly and respectable in which I do appreciate as so.Good Store... 👍

I love this place everyone is so nice & friendly they make you feel like your apart of their families! The owner is An Awesome gentlemen always makes me feel comfortable& greets me everytime and his cashiers are awesome & nice ,very friendly & helpful too with helping me with my groceries loading up my bag since I'm disabled in a wheelchair thank you so much ladies Carivia & Misty!👍😁👍 so if you haven't shopped there please do they are great for a small grocery store very clean price's are good so be "Smart and shop smart and buy right!" at Bi-Rite Supermart and tell em Bruce recommended you!P.s. could you please try to carry this products you can't go wrong neither it cleans & moisturize your skin and makes smell good like a king! Well it does me lol Egyptian Musk Black Soap - 5 oz. Please Please carry it I have a hard time finding it let a lone I don't drive 😩😞 and if you carry it that would make my day and thank you for getting the elvis brew dawg beer!😃 "ELVIS HAS LEFT THE BUILDING!" 😁👍 THANK YOU AND HAVE A GREAT DAY!

WAY to expensive for sub-par produce. No excuse at all. There is NO other grocery store in River Rouge this store could have the entire Market of all of rouge shopping here except for greed. Their prices are outrageous and the quality is terrible. I can go to Aldi's and get a gallon of milk for under a dollar 75 but they want almost $4. All of their produce is disgusting overpriced buy eat times what Kroger Meijer or Walmart would sell it for. And the staff who checks you out at the registers are not nice or polite. They look down their nose at you like they're better than you. And the sad part is if people don't have a car like many people don't in Rouge to go get a green pepper they have no choice but to go pay a dollar and a half for a green pepper that's kind of shriveled up. So Bi-Rite owners and managers shame on you for your greed. I wouldn't shop here even if somebody gave me a gift card that's how bad their produce and products are. I've even bought a box prepared foods that were out of date by a year! You're better off taking a bus and going to Kroger Meijer or Walmart.In response to your comment I ask you what would you do? Reduce the prices on everything in your store? Take preconceived notions in your workers heads out of their thoughts and make them realize all people rich or poor are people and still should be treated equal? Would you remove 90% of your produce which is usually old and magically have good quality fairly priced produce appear? No. Because you know all of these things and do nothing and have done nothing for the last 8 year's I've been coming down there to help a family member. So please don't patronize me words are cheap but action can change people's lives and put fresh fruits and vegetables on children's or senior's plates and in their stomachs. River rouge is small but I've seen more people help others in times of need then anywhere else. You should get with the program and help the people there.

Ordered fried chicken and two out of three people are very ill from it..3rd.. have other symptoms...... Normally very much love there take out food from here but I'm a little weary of this experience.

I am sadden that due coivd-19 . this store even before. Price are ridiculous. 4.27 for eggs. 4.00 for bread. 🍇 7. To 8.oo. Has been since . Prey on people. Only grocery store in area. So 😥.. What will the people . do. Lost me as a customer. 44.90 no meat. 13 items. Every thing. Mostly is 2.99. Mutli color bell 1.79 a pound. They cut it down and. U will get a slice of bell pepper. Onion. 😥 . five black stars

Small local grocery store that has been here decades. Thru pandemic, things you couldn't find at the bigger grocery stores you could still get here.water, flour, sugar, yeast. They also have a butcher you can talk to , to get what cut of meat you want.

Spoiled and overpriced food. I've been coming here for years and it just seems like it's getting worse and worse
