We went to a birthday party here. I think i expected more is a dive bar, but I was pleasantly surprised upon our arrival.It's very clean, everything looks new. Has a great sports bar vibe on the bar side and a restaurant vibe on the other.The food was really good, came out fast.I felt like the servers were frazzled, there was one very demanding person in our group, but they really did a pretty good job.

The waitress ee had was her first day but was extremely helpful. Even though she was new, she was able to answer all our questions.The food was delicious and plentiful. Although it was a bar, there wasn't a "bar" atmosphere. It was extremely family-friendly.I would definitely recommend visiting here if you are in the Remus area.

Good food, had a younger gentleman with quite nice curly hair greet me and get my drink for me, polite as possible. Server was also a very nice woman. Young man brought out my food as well and made sure I was set, food was quite good, cooks were a bit rowdy but it was entertaining to watch honestly!Kid-friendliness: Very polite to my niece and nephew, gave them their own child sized cups.

On sunday April 8 2024 we went in for lunch at 150pm we were ignored by waitstaff for 20 minutes I ordered the grilled walleye special unfortunately it came undercooked and very watery sadly we will not be going back! We do like to dine out locally but the service was poor and the food was terrible 😢

I've eaten here many times and this Christmas season as I begin to go to functions for groups I find myself in many large group, restaurant situations.This makes service slow and food quality a challenge and I understand that. But, when food is served it must have an appropriate requirement of an internal temperature appropriate to the item that is served.I'm afraid that as I continue to come, it's gets more difficult to return each time because your food quality seems to be waning. I have friends that don't want to eat there. I strive to support local small restaurants but every one has limits. I want to continue visiting my local taverns and restaurants. Please, strive to put out quality meals, consistent, and at the proper temperature.

The food was pricey and not cooked very well (the fried fish was soggy and limp. The sweet potato fries were also under fried) the flavor was good on both but gone very fast.Service? What service? A guy let us know we could sit anywhere we wanted after standing at the door looking dumb for 7 minutes. An older lady came up and asked what beverages we wanted and said that our server would be there shortly. After 19 mins the older lady showed back up and said your server hasn't been there yet? We said no. She then took our orders. The food was brought out by the guy that told us we could sit anywhere pretty quickly. Yes I was displeased by my food but my friend absolutely loved her black and Bleu burger. It did come out not as well done as she would have liked so it went back to the kitchen I assume to be cooked a little longer and not tampered with. When it came back my food was gone and she truly did love her burger.When her food was gone we waited for the guy to bring our check and finally a younger lady comes up and asks if we enjoyed our food, if we wanted dessert and if we wanted our water refilled and she was sorry she didn't make it to our table before now. I said just the check. A refill would have been nice while still eating. She said no need to be rude wasn't her fault she had other tables to deal with and for me not to short her tip because the other staff didn't treat me good.I tipped a dollar on 37 dollars worth of meal.

A great place to get good food! Typical tavern/bar set up. Quick and polished service staff. Daily specials on most days. Have never had a bad meal here. Good burgers, a varied menu that should satisfy most tastes. Would rate 5 stars, but I reserve that usually for fancier restaurants with more sophisticated menus and ambiance. Food is always served hot and quick. Highly recommended!

Waitress was cheerful and friendly. She was most helpful taking the time to give us first-time diners recommendations on her personal favorites. She also brought us some honey mustard (unasked for) to go with our sweet potato fries - just because she thought we would enjoy the combination. 🙂Reuben, and sweet tater fries (with or without the honey mustard dipping sauce) were all tasty! 😋Not sure if I'll be back in the area again, but if so, I'll definitely eat here again!
