Great little medium sized community store with LOTS of big city amenities. Deli counter, packaged store prepared sandwiches, mac&cheese, hot soups. Small but varied produce, good meat selection. Great beer and wine selection, pretty good liquor selection. Gas station & lotto. Lots of little gems like local fresh breads, honey, snacks, local microbrew beers. Very friendly staff, clean and well stocked. We always stop here when we are in the area. UPDATE: The gas station portion has been remodeled with a convenience store added where the old pay window was located. Really nice if you just need gas and some snacks etc.

Village market has been our go to for just about anything for many years. Recently tried their pizza which is made-to-order. We were definitely impressed. I’m ordering again tonight to enjoy while waiting for the predicted winter storm to roll in.

Great little market. I always just thought it was just a gas station. I was wrong. Great selection; full grocery store... If you're looking for Torch Lake swag/gear, they have a better selection than anyone around. My new favorite hoody!

I understand prices are going up but I have never seen prices like this. Cereal was $7!, milk was like $4. The prices are triple what Meijer or anywhere else is around the area. It’s actually cheaper to eat out around here. Only go here for an emergency if you need one thing.

We are from Florida and shopped in this wonderful store several times while at Schuss Mountain for 3 weeks at Christmas. I just love this store. It is clean, has great merchandise that you can't get at the huge chain stores and the owners are wonderful. All the help is friendly and caring, too. Can't wait to go back up North to shop there!!! I just called the owner to order a Bill Knapp's cake for my daughter's birthday and he is working on details to send one to us in FL What service!!! Hope they open a store just like the Village Market in Florida soon.

This store has plenty to offer with each isle packed with snacks, beverages, cereal, pastas, baked goods, you name it! They also have a bakery and hot/cold deli to make sure you're buying fresh, quality items every stop. Definitely a great place to buy ingredients for any food occasion.

I love this one-stop store for gas, groceries, and special meats! It's small, but they have a wonderful variety, nice fresh produce, and it's one of the very few places I feel comfortable buying beef and hamburger meat. Nice oven-ready pizzas. Good price on gasoline. Easy in, easy out and friendly.

This is a GREAT hometown small grocery chain that keeps their prices down and listens to their customers input.They're contributors to almost every community event and the staff in the store is genuinely friendly and helpful.I recently had the opportunity to meet the owner Rick Young and the is a humble good man! I had to personally tell him how impressed I am on how he runs his business.In other words, I Highly recommend the Village market!!!!

They've got pretty much everything. Everyone there is really nice and friendly. They lost a star because they have beautiful Torch Lake t-shirts but sizes only to XL, nothing for us bigger girls 😞 if they did I would have bought a bunch.
