My last oil change or maybe the one before. they recommend an air filter. A rats nest built up in mine. I agreed no problem. I go to do my own maintenance today since I had the time. They didn't even bother to clean out my air box still remnants sitting in there. Please have your employees clean out an air box it takes 30 seconds with a shop vac if there's stuff in it. My own fault for not checking it sooner.

Very friendly and professional staff! Had oil and filter changed, ( brought my own Rotella T6 and Wix filter). They just charged a small fee for labor. Also had wipers changed at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this place!

I pulled right into a bay. The technicians proceeded to change my oil. Check my filter, tire pressure, and fluidsand got me on my way in about 10 minutes, AND I also was able to use a $5 online coupon. Highly recommend Performance Plus Quick Oil Change in Houghton Lake.

I give them 3 stars because they have always been kind in the past, and this time in particular the man who greeted us was very kind, extremely welcoming and polite.I will start by saying my car had a lot of ice on it from traveling, that’s why we went to the car wash.When we arrived there were no other tracks indicating they were very busy, nor was there anyone behind us.All of a sudden a second person came to my window and angrily knocked, I rolled it down and he seemed to have scolded us as if we were maliciously rudely interrupting a busy day, with anger in his eyes and in his voice he made sure we knew if he saw our car first and if they were busy he would have turned us away, rather than politely bringing up the fact that it would take a couple minutes to hose the ice off. He even was mean to his co worker, the gentleman doing a great job.So basically if your car is to icy or to dirty don’t go to the car wash.

When I first got there the gentleman that helped me out his name was John he was very nice however I am very upset and the pricing situation, I asked them if they could please set all my tires to 34 he said yes and then he started the process and didn't do all the tires he went down to the deck did the oil change and then simply when I was done I asked if I could please get some windshield wiper fluid they said sir the package that you bought does not include windshield wiper fluid. I wasn't told that at the time when I was buying the package and also the pricing standpoint is way far off I mean I think you just lost a customer for not helping me out with a little bit of windshield wiper fluid when you've already changed me this high of a price I'm used to getting fully synthetic oil changes for $26.25 and I just paid $34.25 for unsynthetic oil. just very upset and I don't think I'll be coming back

Girlfriend went for a simple oil change and told her her air filter was good when it wasn't the last time and we forgot to change it. They said her oil had sludge in it and never showed her, they just wanted to sell a engine flush. They were rude when I showed up but mind you I was a mechanic for 40 years and I thought the customer was always right. Oh and them back mouthing me and caught by my 23 year old son. I will never be back nor will I recommend anyone to go there.

I have taken my car there many times. Yesterday when I pulled in I was guided by the attendant in such a manner that my tires scraped on the rail. I stopped and then proceeded a few inches when I heard a loud bang of metal on metal. I backed up and asked what happened and the attendant told me my car was "too low". That is of course nonsense. It's a Cadillac CTS and has not been modified in any way. Then it was suggested that one of the rails was bent. There was no expression of concern for my car, no apology and no interest in what to me was potential damage to my car. I told them I was not going to be back the response from the attendant "no problem".
