I'm going to have to agree with the other customers about the long hair staffer. Not very friendly, rude and not helpful at all. You just can tell he hates his job and customers.

The long hair hippie John I think his name is doesn't want to help consumers with purchasing products. I spend at least 200 dollars a week and he acts like he is dissatisfied to be there to help you. Dirty store and still getting the same treatment. Not the face DG wants to be a face for the company.

This place sucks. Too much product sitting in the carts that came off the truck is always sitting in the aisles. It's very hard to navigate around the store. Seems like a fire hazard. Plus both bathrooms are not available because the managers are using them to store merchandise. Lots of bare shelves. Plus you're charged more at the cash register than what the shelf price states . Criminal empire.

Great place and it’s right outside of downtown poterville it’s actually kinda hidden but it’s a great place to have a DG in town. Great staff always stocked and clean environment

Great Manager! Things weren't ringing up right, and he moved me over to his register to take care of me so his empliyee could wait on other guests.It's a bit close in spots to run the carts through in the front of the store, but with that much stock, it's no wonder we can get through at all.Lots of everything and anything, so if ya like low prices and shopping...this is a great place to start.

They have a lot of things packed in here,which is nice. Unfortunately that means fewer of each item on the shelves to make up for space,so what your looking for isn't there a lot. Most of the employees are really friendly,and always helpful...but there are a couple exceptions. Store is clean,and open until 10 pm,which is handy to have in our small town.

To start I have witnessed the cross eyed gentlemen be rude to customers and tried to passing off as him just having a bad day, which I understand we all have them. I came to the store tonight at 845 and was refused service by him stating they are closed store hours online say 10 is the closing time I can understand them closing at 9 given slow business but to turn a customer away before 9 is ridiculous. Never will return to this location

Chevy was so sweet and amazing she helped me out just a week ago and remembers me by name. The store could be a little cleaner but it's probably just the lighting. The lower score is because one of the employees Jon was a bit rude

Always look forward to shopping in there. Always have different products and my mother in law and I can spend hours in there. Keep up the good work Dollar General employees, you do a mighty fine job at keeping that store always looking nice and tidy.

Well it's a normal Dollar General you should find what I need this time I actually didn't I had to go elsewhere but they just don't have enough people buying certain products to keep them in stock which makes sense but employee was really nice and helpful as she tried to help me search what for what I needed just in case Avery starts and he didn't know it so it was a good stop to have

For a simple dollar store in a small town they do a pretty good job of keeping their shelves stocked and the staff is always friendly. I've never had any issues there and if you need anything simple they've probably got it.

Hard to find anything with their hodge podge selection, and there's only 1 or 2 employees there to ask so expect to wait at checkout at least 5-10 minutes to ask any questions or check out. Good selection of random stuff you would impulse buy at decent low prices, even has an ok selection of $5 movies. Handy place for summer essentials like lotion, bug spray, and other outdoor necessities. Def would recommend, but don't have high expectations for selection or anything like that. They carry a little bit of everything as opposed to a good selection of any one thing. But it's still an easy one stop shop before you have that picnic or beach day. Plenty of room to pull your truck in with a trailer on the back, so it's a lot more convenient choice than Meijer or Walmart for stocking up for say a beach trip. Also a lot quicker in and out, even with the incredibly slow checkout.

Tried to use the app could not get it to work ask the cashier to help me with it and she was rude and you know your phone I don't it most likely our internet you will have go out side to make it work I ask her why have a app that people can use then and I also said are you not getting paid to help people in the store and she says they don't pay me to help people with the app or to remember what's in the ad.she then tells me I do not need to get snooty with her. Yes I was rather a little short with her but she made it very clear that she was not there to help people other then to check them out and get out the door

I am so happy Potterville has a small store for more than just pop and snacks! I wish they carried a small produce selection of lemon, tomato, potatoes and onions. Very friendly staff

Dollar General is one of those stores where you find what you need most of the time. It also has the extras that get you spending more then you had planned on...lol. Yes the sales, especially after the holidays 😊

Prices are good, but not sure if it's worth the hassle of trying to get your cart down the aisle with a bunch of displays everywhere, random items thrown everywhere (especially in the aisle ways) The store is a complete mess if you ask me!

They don't put there stock away it sets on carts on the floor so you can't get a shopping cart through make any kind of shopping hard to do. workers are not as friendly as they use to be.
