I brought my dog in for grooming, asked them to shave my long haired great pyrenees, leave the head and tail alone. They butched her. I received a call from management who asked us to give them a second chance for free. we did and the service was better as was her cut. good job people.

I brought my American Bully in and instead of people miss judging Cause of his cropped ears and muscles and the fact american bully look like super pitbulls lol. They loved him he literally stole the attention of just about the hole store.

still on the fence from few years ago. Did not have a good experience when I had my little yorkie, don’t want to get into details. However, couple week ago i took our little Maltese and almost left paying for some things that they did not do. They realized it was their fault, I did not make a big deal, but still not confident they have changed for the good.

Curbside pickup was a breeze, ordered online (there was a discount to order online and pickup in store so I tried it), got a notification that my order was ready for pickup. Upon arrival they confirmed my identity and brought my items out right to my vehicle, it was all ready sitting on a cart near the checkouts. Overall it was a easy and fast way to get what I needed without having to go in the store. Although I'd happily go inside if this location would get their saltwater tanks back up and running, they've been out of order for over a year so they don't stock any marine fish. All I keep hearing (for over a year) is "they will be up soon, our manager doesn't care much about the saltwater tanks so they don't put priority on it", but nothing ever happens. Closest alternative with saltwater Fish/Invertebrates/Corals is MVPets (I highly recommend), or Petco in Battle Creek (has a pretty good selection but you should probably call before driving there to confirm what you want is in stock). Other than that the store is always clean, and employees are friendly when I do go in.

They definitely have everything you need, but I felt their supplies were a little picked over, which was surprising. The markups were also pretty intense. I seriously advise checking the prices on their website and comparing those to what they ask for in the store- they will price match their online offers. I also wished they would have done the rewards sign-up for me as I asked BEFORE I paid the $69 bill...every $100 you spend, you get $5 off, so I guess I'm starting from 0, unfortunately. I did find the employees to be very nice and jovial though.

*Update: Watch the quality of the live plants they carry. I purchased two a quarium greens and the Petco brand had nothing but rotten roots.*Need better support in the pet sections for shoppers to get questions answered. Should NOT have to wait an half hour for one item or a fish or any service.

The staff is friendly however their return policy is lacking. I made a purchase online and went to the return the unopened item about a week later. I brought the transaction number but was told that I could only have a store credit in the form of a gift card. I don't think there was any reason I shouldn't have been able to get my money back and just seems like it was a way for Petco to keep my money in their store. A better return policy would make a big difference.

You can find a little (actually a lot) of supplies for just about any animal here. They normally have pretty decent sales on pet foods, and excellent deals on wet foods nearing their use date. My only complaint is that this location ALWAYS has pallets of stock sitting strewn out all over the store. It makes navigating aisles difficult, especially with a cart.

Friendly knowledgeable people that are very helpful. They know the products they sell and can make excellent recommendations based on your specific pet.Clean store with a great selectionYou will never wait in line to check out, if there is more than one person in line they will open another register.If your in a hurry they have call ahead service. Just tell them what you need and it'll be waiting at the front when you arrive.Always willing to carry your items out to your car if you need them to do so.Prices are always very competitive and they do have a price match guarantee for local and online stores.I definitely recommend them!!

One person working as cashier, attitude was apathetic at best. Bought a buy 1 get 1 for 50% off item but it was scanning at full price. I asked why and the guy just shrugs and repeats the full price and does nothing to answer my question or resolve the issue... told him I'd go and figure it out since he clearly wasn't going to try. Left the line so the 4 others piling behind me could get through... store products are decent but ill probably just order online so I don't have to deal with the people who work here.

SOME OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! Me and my wife bought a bearded dragon that wasn't eating and a baby crested gecko that died within a day. We came to the store for a refund and the manager put us on the restricted list!?!?! We have bearded dragons and other reptiles at home and I swear we have been to other pet stores who have given us better service with no problems and the animals we have are thriving. Never again and I recommend you do not buy any reptiles or lizards from this store! We recommend petsmart or chow hound pet supplies!!!

This is a good place to get your pet supplies. The store has tons of products and services for all types of animals. The store is decently clean and the staff are always very nice. I get my cat's food and litter here all the time and I would recommend coming here for pet supplies.

It was very easy to look online, choose a store location, make the purchase and then have my husband pick it up on his way home from work. I didn't give 5 stars because the store didn't have something that I wanted and even though the online checkout asked who would be picking up the item and asked for my husbands email, he never was sent any confirmation.

Wasn’t entirely thrilled with my visit the other day. The guy that helped me in aquatics came off as pretty snotty even though I have fish and just wanted to know what type one was. I cannot remember his name but I believe it started with a B. The store seems pretty messy with boxes all over and the products were very bare on the shelf. I also noticed that there was ick in one of the saltwater tanks with the blue tangs and alot of crowding in those tanks. Used to come here to buy fish a lot but the selection was bare. Not sure if I will come back for fish.

I drove here from battle creek, and then they wouldn't even cut my dogs hair.So consider your self warned, if you don't have shot records, you are out of luck.Other than that, it was just a typical pet store. Under staffed (like every other business), average prices, but at least you can bring your pet.

I was very dissatisfied with the rudeness of an associate that was assisting with their live aquatic plants. Everything was fine until I went to cash out and the price of the plant was $3 more than the highest label on the display. When the issue was brought up to the original associate she rudely remarked "I'll honor it this time" without letting me speak any after that. I simply suggested that they put a label up showing the price for this item as it isn't the same as the labels already displayed (with a small emphasis that it's a Michigan law).

Quick and low quality service. Took my 2 year old and 4 month old pups into get their nails cut there. Both of their nails are cut awfully and are now sharper then they were before. If you are looking for worms to feed your reptiles I would not recommend this place. They have worms in stock that are three months old and almost half of the worms are dead.

2 guinea pigs died in less than 1 month for no reason. I'll be going to a reputable breeder now. They're bred in puppy mill conditions, and not worth supporting. The hamster cages they sell instore are inhumane but they do not care, its all for profit. I've spent hundreds of dollars there, that ends now.

I have had multiple problems with this store. Over the weekend I came in to get 2 freshwater snails it took 30 minutes for someone to tell me they will be right with me just for them to skip over me..they had 2 lady’s in the fish section Saturday and one of them was complaining about customers and then finally I got helped 15 mins later.. I told her I needed 2 snails for a FRESHWATER tank...I got home after a few I put the snails in my tank and they instantly went into the shell...4 days later they still haven’t came out and all my fish (I’ve had for over a year) are now dead...looked at receipt looked up the snail name come to find out they are SALTWATER snails...spent 45 mins in the store waiting to get helped

The cashier was super attentive and allowed a price match. I didnt feel rushed while looking up the other store's prices. And she was super positive and helpful. She wore a mask and wiped the cc machine before and after I used it.I forgot her name sorry but she was fantastic.

See picture. There is actual MOLD over grown on the food in the bearded dragon enclosure as well as way too many housed together. This is horrible!!!!! CLEARLY THEY DO NOT CARE!

Got yelled at for having my phone out when i was talking to my mother who lives in Florida about purchasing the chinchilla. (Chinchilla had no water in bottle) Since i am pregnant, i like to consult with her about most things. I've owned many exotic animals and have managed pet store in the past. This is not how you treat your customers. No one offered to help with anything... I bet if i asked them about pet food, they wouldn't have any idea about any. Luckily, i have an extensive knowledge on that stuff and didn't need any help. Should have routine secret shops in to keep your employees on their toes and actually do their jobs. One girl nearly pushed me when she walked by and didn't say excuse me or anything. I'm 31 weeks pregnant, i knkw you see me!!! The only nice person that offered to help was at the register. Heavier set girl. I do not recommended this store...

Never really had a problem here before: it's overpriced, yes, but I call it a 'convenience charge' for not having to wait for an item to be shipped and thus deal with it when I need something. Animals are healthy and active, staff are friendly and helpful.I would now go out of my way to avoid the store when the manager is there. While buying the next couple months of flea medication for my two dogs, she hassled me the entire time I was checking out as to whether my vet had recommended it, lectured me on overdosing, pushed a certain brand, and threatened not to sell me the medication if I hadn't been told to buy it by my vet.I lied to her and told her, yes, of course. I've also been routinely buying flea meds to kill and repel for the past seven years. I don't appreciate a know-it-all, particularly in regard to the well-being of my pets, and I would not go back to deal with management again.EDIT: Most of the employees are very knowledgeable, but every time I management is working they give me a hard time. Most recently, it was when I came in to buy a ferret and asked to handle them first. Normal employees will let me do this, and I appreciate it as it lets me pick the pet best suited to my furry and human family by observing the individual personalities. It lets me know that the animals are being cared for. Animals that are handled regularly do not bite. A member of management was working the day I went in for a ferret and she very rudely told me that none of the ferrets were taken out of the cage unless a sale was being made. As in, from cage to carrier. I understand if she would rather I wait until there were less customers, or if she wanted photo ID, but she was so nasty and unreasonable about it that I am determined to go when I know that the pet-friendly employees are on duty so I can make an informed purchase from the ones who actually know how to do their job.tl;dr management is a pain who don't seem to care for animals and hassle their customers, everyone else in my experience has been a top-notch pet owner, prices are generally inflated but some things are a steal. The pets I've gotten there have been healthy and friendly.

I tend to love the variety of brands you guys carry! Tons of stuff for dogs, not as much for cats (I am a cat owner) but really like what you carry for our feline friends! Always helpful staff!

I have had such a bad experience going to this store. The sales floor is constantly littered in boxs and the most of the animals habitats are unsuitable for the pet to live in even short term.The sales staff is unprofessional and unkind. My boyfriend and I brought a bird from them a few days before we had to quarantine for two weeks due to an exposure of Covid. During those two weeks, our newly beloved bird passed away. Good thing we kept the paperwork right? Wrong! After our two week quarantine went went back to the pet store and explained the situation. The lady running the counter was unapologetic about our situation and that she would have to see the dead body to give us any kind of reimbursement. Obviously at this point we had already had a birdie funeral in the back yard. I was so taken back that they wanted us to go home and dig the bird up to show them that he was actually dead. Never returning. Poor management.
