This place is amazing and I highly recommend their services. The staff is great and treats my Rottweiler Olivia like she's part of their family. She loves them and gets excited in the truck when she realizes she's there. I really can't say enough for those that have pets. This is the place to take them for a little pampering. The prices are also very reasonable.

First time here and had a great experience! Staff were super friendly and welcoming. I could tell they really loved on my dog. They explained what all they would do and how they would do it which was helpful to hear. My dog absolutely hates water/baths as well as nail trims and they said she did very well with both services so they must have worked some magic! My dog was very calm and happy when I picked her up and she is now clean and smells nice. I will definitely be going back on a regular basis. So happy I tried this place out and highly recommend!

If your dog hates grooming as much as mine does take them here. Bear is a Pomeranian we have had since he was a puppy and he has NEVER liked to be brushed or have his hair cut. EVER. So I was afraid to take him to someone else because I didn’t want him to be nasty with them. For some reason I thought he would grow out of it, but he doubled down and it got to the point where it was impossible to try. I finally brought it up to our vet. They gave him some meds and we brought Bear to Paws and Claws on a recommendation from family who takes their cat (THEIR CAT!!!) to this dog groomer. I am still in shock. Bear looks amazing and no one got bit. She even got the dreadlocks behind his ears and his beard is gone. He has always been the cutest, but now he’s on cuteness overload. Thank you so much!!!!!

I bring my cat in twice a month, and they take her right away, trim her nails, done in less 10 minutes, I'm out the door, I tip them, they do excellent work, you should check out all the services they provide. You can't find this kind of service no where for these prices. With such kindness ❤️ services.

Having any type of doodle groomed is usually a hit or miss adventure. Not so with Brooke at Paws and Claws. She groomed my mini goldendoodle so perfectly, that everywhere we go people comment how adorable she is. Brooke has her looking like a stuffed animal! She also must use a special conditioner, because my pups fur is sooo soft! I can’t recommend Brooke highly enough—you won’t be disappointed.2024: Note—Brooke has apparently moved on. I don’t have experience with any other groomers here.

Absolutly lovely experience. My little Melody had her first grooming here as a 10 week old pup and she came back fluffy, good smelling and happy. They said she was a sweetheart which I had trouble believing. Her second appointment was just as wonderful. Even though I accidentally made an appointment at the Battle Creek location over the phone instead of them they were still willing to squeeze her in on a busy Saturday morning. The groomer said she had a corgi as well and that Melody was a model doggy citizen. Her nails are always well done and I've never seen her butt fluffier (lol). 100% satisfied.

The staff is very friendly and made the puppy and 3yr old very comfortable immediately. They did a great job grooming the 3yr old who has never been before and got her undercoat under control! They both look great! My dogs loved it!

Experience was decent just can’t justify paying $130 and tipping $15 to come home and find that the flea treatment I paid extra for didn’t work. I brought my 2 cats home after being bathed and flea treated and decided to brush them with my flea comb and there were still fleas on them. Had they gotten the fleas off I wouldn’t have minded the price bcuz I’ve been trying to get rid of them for a minute now and was willing to pay whatever to get rid of them that’s the only reason I wanted them to get bathed by professionals so they could get rid of the fleas. Other than that they were great just wouldn’t recommend going to them for their flea treatment.

My parents brought their long haired dachshund today for her first grooming appointment. I was really nervous for them, since I have read soooo many horror stories about abusive or negligent groomers that resulted in trauma, physical harm or even death to dogs. This place acknowledged my overprotective butt and my elderly parents’ worries, and put them to rest. Melania looks gorgeous with her patriotic bows!! My dad said they were very kind and that Melania will be returning to them!I am giving 5 stars because I reached out and they responded not even an hour later, and assured me they treat all their furry clients as their own dogs. Who cares if a half inch is cut off instead of a quarter inch. These people care about their clients and we are very VERY happy.Thank you Paws and Claws! She looks gorgeous and she is so much happier!

We love Paws & Claws and Evvianna is amazing! After a bad experience at a previous groomer that left my dog traumatized, I wasn’t sure what to do because he was terrified of being groomed. We came here and Evvianna went out of her way to show my dog extra love and care. Now he is excited when I tell him he’s seeing his Evvi and getting his hair cut. I highly recommend Paws and Claws!

Paws and Claws Finishing Touch is my favorite groomer! We have a bernedoodle and a mini goldendoodle that we take to Brooke. She does an excellent job and pups look forward to seeing her as well. Everyone at Paws and Claws has been excellent to work with. I highly recommend them!

After my husband and I have been coming to Paws and Claws for quite some time now - which they have done a great job every other time, we will NOT be back. Recently we had taken our Siberian Husky and our Akita in for a bath - I understand that they are not small dogs and that yes they like to roll outside and dirty themselves up however being charged $187 for their toenails to be clipped and two baths is absurd. When speaking with the lady who initially took care of our Akita, she had no reason other than “They had to clip their toenails and trim their paws” which was apparently considered a full groom to them. She offered absolutely no refund or other explanation, and all of the other works had terrible attitudes and looked like zombies walking through the place. I had mentioned the price to my husband so he had tried calling several times and knowing that they have caller ID - They avoided the call 4-5 times. We finally got through and requested to speak with the owner. She apparently was not available so the worker was going to have her give us a call back. Weeks later we have not received a call back in regards to this matter. I guess after reading all other not so good reviews, charging people extra for services is how they stay in business. Not to mention, the last time we had taken just our Siberian Husky for a full shave and bath was around $120, so how the price was $187 for two baths is beyond me. They were unable to find our contact card to no surprise while I was there also. Maybe more of an excuse to over charge.

My father-in- law took their dog to get groomed back in December of ‘22 and their dog cut cut on its hind leg. We were told that it was a minor cut and should be fine and not a big deal. His dog hasn’t been able to walk properly on its left hind leg ever since so I have been taking it to the veterinarian for more insight as to why the area of the cut was still bothering him. We were finally told that his Achilles tendon was cut and he needs surgery. I cannot believe how they downplayed this situation here. it was not a “minor nip” and it did not “get better” like the employees here assured my father-in-law

Julia is the best groomer we ever had. Julia is an expert at grooming and she is also a dog trainer. We brought our Golden Doodle to her and it was just the best experience we ever had. We went through 4 different groomers before we found Paws and Claws. I recommend this groomer to everyone who is looking for a great groomer. All the ladies are so very friendly and very knowledgeable about their job. Great atmosphere with the most friendly staff. Our Charlie Bear turned out great and so very handsome. Julia really took the best care of our fur baby.

Worst grooming my dog has ever had they didn’t do half of the services we asked for his cut was very choppy And he came home in pain. The groomer said he came in like that but that’s a lie because he went to the vet the day before and had a clean bill of health and was fine in the morning before going. Needless to say he will never go back there! This is a Pomeranian bet you didn’t know that by looking at the pictures.

I love this place. Walk-ins are truly quick and easy. I have taken my dog here twice, and I’ve had Abby both times. She is amazing! My dog is a very nervous dog, and she’s able to get the job done safely and quickly. I think her confidence, speed, and precision, is what makes her so good, and why I can get my dog to tolerate the nail trimming. I plan to come back every month- 6 weeks to get her nails done! I’ll have to ask for Abby each time!

I made 2 trim, bath, and nail clips appointments for my 2 puppies about 2 weeks ago. When I called, they asked me what breed they were, which I told them and their age. I went today on time for their appts. I felt unwelcome. They didn't even say hi or welcome or nothing. They asked for the name which I provided. Then, the lady in the front asked me to provide her with a correct number. I told her that I got a call yesterday from them to confirm the appt, so the number they had is the correct one. She said that she was calling me multiple times this morning , and I told her it was weird because I didn't have a missed call. Then I asked why she was calling me, and she was very rude and with a attitude and repeated, "Why was I calling you?" I told her yeah I am wondering why you were trying to get a hold of me. She said that they were going to ask me to come in earlier. I stated that even if she did talk to me this morning, I wasn't going to be able to come in early due to errands and things to do. Then I was asking if there was a problem, and then another girl stepped in, stating that it was because my appt was at another time. When she realized that it was at noon and I came in at 12:03, she looked at the other girl confused. Then the first girl grab the phone and was dialing somewhere when all of a sudden my phone ranged so I realized she was calling my phone in front of me, that made me feel like she was thinking I was lying to her about them having my correct number. She started to say, " oh thats werid now it did go though, well now that I verified we have the correct number, we can check them in." She then she asked me what I wanted I told her that I booked for a small trim, bath and nail clip and she said that they cant do the trim because it will take long and then she said she doesn't recommend it due to their coats and it could ruin it. I completely understand and respect and appreciate her telling me this because its something I wasn't aware of because its their first groom appointment and our first puppies. But I am pretty upset when I booked the appointment, and they knew what breed they were. Why didn't they tell me, then I assume you are aware of the coats of certain breeds. But that isn't really the reason for my poor review, because I understand mistakes happen, and maybe they didn't know or they had to see them in person. I normally take them a bath often, and I know how to clip their nails. So I was really taking them for a trim and, of course, to take advantage of them to do all the services, trim, bath, and nails. So from the moment I walked in, I felt so unwelcome they werent nice to me she was rude and treated me like a liar and it just seemed they didn't want to do the services and I dont understand why. I do not recommend this place at all due to poor customer service and just frankly being rude and the way she treated me. I left the puppies and went around the corner and just called them and told them I was turning back around to pick them up.

I took in my long haired kitty, Mira, for a bath and lion cut. She's a little nervous so I wasn't sure they would be able to complete the job. I got a call two hours later that she was ready. They told she was well behaved and she's beautiful! She's a lot more comfortable with the lion cut.I highly recommend Paws and Claws!

My GS has been going to paws and claws since 2019. Julia is a marvellous groomer. Actually her whole staff is. I would not go any place other than paws and claws. Highly recommend this groomer, very attentive. You can tell they care about your fur babies!!❤️❤️❤️

Poor grooming. Shaved my yorkie dog without permission and tried to pull the “Matted” card. My dog was in good condition when dropped off and was told we would receive a call if puppy couldn’t be groomed or had any problems. Instead of calling to inform me that dog was “matted” and needed to be shaved, they instead shaved her anyway. My dog also has a sharp cut near her ear and has on and off bleeding. My puppy now doesn’t want to eat and looks very sad and the kids are sad too. I called to speak with manager and was told “since they provided service there is nothing they could do”. When my child asked what was matted process like the groomer had nerve to say a racist comment like “you know when black people get curly and knotted hair, well that’s how your dog was causing her to be shaved”. I’m so disappointed because I trusted them with my dog. Lack of communication and poor service overall. Also text my personal number which was very unprofessional after service
