The majority of the workers were very polite and helpful. As the store layout can be confusing if you don’t regularly go there. However, I did witness an employee who was collecting boxes tell her customer that she was there first, and she was moving stuff out of the way expecting the customer to move first the customer graciously moved and apologized, and the employee move towards the back of the store to get rid of the boxes. She had black rim, glasses and shorter hair. I am going to assume that this is not the norm for the store and the policy to tell customers to move out of the way as it used to be that were there to help the customers, and it was just a grumpy employee.

You can tell the people who work in fashion at this location love their jobs.. easy to find items, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The shoe department is always neatly organized and loaded with a variety of shoe options for the whole family. Grocery isles are stocked neat abs together... I love shopping at this location

Meijer has some cheap price good quality meat.Very easy and convenient to find your way compared to other supermarkets.Staff is very friendly.It’s open until midnight so I always come here to get munchies.

Regularly completely out of carts. Lines have doubled in length since the remodel. You spent more time in a check out line than shopping for a weeks worth of groceries. Just walked out to go to another store because there are no carts and the lines are out of control. It's Sunday afternoon and there are only five lanes open.

They are like the other big box retailers. Little higher quality products and nicer stores.My problem being, with all brick and mortar stores-they've outlived any usefulness they may still have in this century. Empty shelves, can't get what you came for. Complete waste of time and energy.

Usually a good experience but anytime I pick up groceries on Sundays the pickup lady is extremely rude. Was called “weird” and other names for simply backing into the pickup spot. Weird behavior on her behalf

Meijer is.. well Meijer. Everything is relatively easy to find, prices are.. competitive. The only problem I had with this particular store was the Customer Service desk. Not quite a week after Christmas and there was only 1 employee behind the desk? A "quick" visit took me over half an hour. Ugh

Use to love this location, but since the renovation, they are super rude, nosy, and did I say rude? I had 4 items and had receipt in my hand, an my cart had brakes that locked before I even got to the first set of doors, it's sad because this was my favorite Meijer growing up and now I feel like I'm being looked up an down as if I was a criminal....

I'm sure you won't see this, but I have NEVER had groceries so disrespected while being bagged in my whole life! I had a can of biscuits broken open because the bagger slammed 2 2-Liters on top of them, raw chicken juice is now all over my honey crisp apples because the cashier didn't place it back in the protector bags and also why is raw meat being bagged with produce, my bread is squashed because a glass jar of pasta sauce was set on top of it, the top to rubbing alcohol was broken off because 5 cans of food was thrown in on top of it, smoked sausage ruined because it was also in the bag with rubbing alcohol and the package got torn and dog food bag now soaked in I'm assuming rubbing alcohol because it was sitting next to it in the car so that is now unusable as well. I now have a mess to clean up. I have to make another trip to the store to get at least dog food for now which I don't have the extra money for until I can return said items above. I work hard for my money and what time I have is very valuable, but because someone was either having a bad day, improperly trained and or overworked. I now have to find time out my already busy schedule to return items. I called the store to make a complaint, I was calm and kind even though I wanted to go full Karen, I wasn't going to post anything but the straw that broke the camels back is when the manager laughed and said yeah that happens bring your items and your receipt to the service desk we will help you but dont forget your items and receipt or we won't and she hung up. Not a sorry, didn't bother asking who my cashier was, just a laugh and a brush off and making me feel like I did something wrong. Cool. Thanks a lot. I won't be back to Meijer on S. Westnedge. I don't care how pretty and remodeled it is.

It Meijers. So I stood in line for at least 15 minutes. They have self checkouts, but those lines looked even longer. It's getting to the point that I might need a scooter or order ahead and pick up. There has to be a better way. I am happy for the people who show up for work. Are they purposely short staffed is my question.

The listing says you close at midnight but I get there at 11:30 and the store is closed. The sign on the door says you close at midnight. I just wanted a bag of coffee I would’ve been in and out in five minutes.

This store and all Meijer stores are great. They have a good selection of everything.Their bottle return however is poor! Almost every time I get turned away for bottles not accepted. I buy all my beer from Meijer and then they don’t take the bottles back. Huge pain, done buying anything with a deposited from this store (S. Westnedge, Portage, MI.).

This store is constantly out of unsalted bags of peanuts by Hampton Farms. There used to be piles of them in a huge bin before the remodel, now they are in tiny wire bins that are never stocked. One shopper told me I have to ask someone to get them from the back room where they are often in stock because some department doesn't want to fill the bins. Why should I have to do that? Fix your personnel problems Meijer!

The employees here are always so nice and very helpful. Every time I buy bread or vege products they stay fresh for a long time. They literally have everything here.

Not a good store...Constantly overcharged on sale price items. At one point it was 4 trips in a row that multiple items rang up higher.The website does not accurately reflect "In Store" causing countless trips for items that are not actually available.Store is usually out of stock on common items even when not on sale. I haven't seen ground beef there in ages and I attempt several different days and times from early to late in the day.Spoke with management and was disregarded since they are meeting their sales quota. I stopped shopping here due to the horrible customer service.Finally, typically only one cashier is open and forced to u-scan. While its a pain ringing up items, the machine constantly accuses of theft even considering children as goods and services requiring a lengthy tracking down of the one cashier present to override the "theft" of customer.

I was shopping with my wife and we were purchasing a ham that your company sells. Just so we are clear, you sell them. But seriously the Person encountered at the deli to get my ham sliced. Done it at least 10x. Before I could get to the counter this bald head skinny and short. Myself and this gentleman had words so I ask to speak to a manager he said I am mgt. I want your boss then. Well it happened I got the ol F bomb. Now I am no prude there is a time and place. This is all over a ham that I wanted sliced. Anyway I couldn't get a word in edge wise. I left after the 2nd mgr. He was awesome. NO SLICED HAM FOR ME it's a??? health code Hazzard. THEN WHY ARE YOU SELLING IT? Terrible tag teaming terrible communication and disrespectful.

I personally do a lot of my shopping at Aldi because most things are cheaper there. However I still shop at Meijer because Aldi has a limited selection. Meijer has everything and pretty good prices too. Big fan of meijer brand.

Terrible, you have mastered Walmart's standards and practices!!!! Extra long lines, less actual cashiers and self checkouts down the nearest aisle by produce!!!!!!! ANd 10 people or more behind me I just didn't wanna turn around and take a picture of them looking at me!

I haven't been to Meijer for 20 years and have missed it. This is the one I used to go to! It is even better, so many upgrades and still a variety of items.I went one day, there was no cilantro. A produce worker offered to go look for some, came out with a whole box, and that made my dinner superb! I appreciated it greatly.Good store, good products, good people.

Meijer has the best produce around. I buy LOTS of cat food, they carry the kind my cats love. Prices are good, competitive. Selection is good for most things.

In-store is the only reason this gets 2 stars from me. Ordering online is like pulling digital teeth. I think my attempts to ACTUALLY order are around a couple dozen, but for each dozen, I MIGHT get one through.The only reason I stuck with Meijer for so long was that they had a good selection of bread. I'd rather take my chances with Walmart than have to spend the whole day with failed orders for the possibility of a delivery in 3 days.NEVER ONLINE ORDER.

The employees seem to busy to actually assist you, or are unable to when they take the time to actually acknowledge customers. Also the New way they set up the store is poorly designed and not very user friendly!!!
