I go shopping here a lot prices are fair and good variety of products. I recommend using there rewards system the points add up and you can save on even more money. Also you can digitally clip coupons on the app as well. Clean tidy organized store. Everyone that works there is super friendly and helpful. The store carries organic and specialty products as well. The bakery there everything is fresh and good quality.

This is my local Meijer and I love it! Turnover seems to be low because I recognize most employees over the past 5 years. They hire seniors and neurodivergent individuals, which is great. Store is usually clean and stocked. Employees are friendly.

Was greeted by a very rude lady. I need a cart, 3 were plugged in. 2 in one area. I checked them. Not charged. I asked if the other one (plugged in by check outs) was charged. She said, well.go check it.Ok.I unplugged it, although it wasn't plugged in very well, plug was falling out---it wouldn't turn on.So I plugged it back in. Told her it wasn't charged. She was rude again, saying rudely" well you have to unplug it." I said, I did, it wouldn't turn on. I told her, sorry I'm the thorn in your flesh today. Seriously, be nice lady or go work in another area. Not greeting.Then these plants were in clearance area but cashier wouldn't charge the clearance price. He and bagger guy were talking back and forth enough not paying attention to anything I was asking. I finally gave up. Probably won't ever shop at this Meijer again.

I used to love going to this meijer. Once upon a time they always had the store clean and organized & had plenty in stock. This never seems to be the case anymore after the pandemic this location has gone down hill. Shop at the one on west main it is much cleaner, more organized, better stocked and overall a better experience

Nice store to get your groceries and everything else in general. It's usually well kept and properly stocked. Nice deals on Apparel/Shoes etc for most of the year. The Self check-outs have been updated and gives the front end a really modern look. Also they always have carts unlike the other big grocery store down the road.Produce section has a lot of choices and a variety of chopped veggies etc. There is plenty of parking and the covid safety measures are being followed.

I don't normally leave reviews but the woman working for Meijer pick up saved us tonight! We had placed an order for pick up for tonight and, after a series of unfortunate events today, had a few last second items we needed asap. I called and, with less than 2 hours from our original scheduled pick up time, she was able to get our much needed items added for us so we could get them tonight. Thank you for your help! I'm sorry I don't remember your name but I hope this review reaches you - we greatly appreciate you making this happen for us!

Not only is this the worst Meijer, it is the very worst grocery store I have ever been to. Every single interaction I have had with a staff member has been frustrating. Whatever you do do not absolutely do not do a grocery pick up. It is just not worth your time which means you have to consider going to shop… And I would highly recommend not doing that either

It's quick and easy to get in and out even when it's busy. It's very clean nice and the employees are always friendly. Good atmosphere. They have a lot in stock.

Great deals, produce, and staff. I had an item that had a discount sticker. But the item wasn’t able to be discounted without the barcode. O’ndrea did the above and beyond and made sure I left with a big smile. Very thoughtful individual. 😊All of the ladies I have encountered there are awesome. Stephanie and a couple other kindhearted ladies helped me find something , after the app had mislead me. Thank you to all the wonderful women at Meijer.

People working at Shaver road Meijer have no clue about which product can be found where at the store. I needed to pick up something after finding it online and even after telling them them the location, many still acted clueless. A tall lady greeting at the front gate near pharmacy is also very rude

Meijers Shaver Rd Curbside/Pickup Area is an unorganized chaotic mess. The curbside work area is nasty & dirty with food on the floor. They treat new employees poorly. Barely any training is involved for the job that you perform. Management from the Top is non existent & very poorly managed with no problem solving skills at all. They allow employees to do whatever they want just as long as they come to work. And please never order your groceries from there.They return food that wasn’t picked up from online orders back to the store shelves (including produce) for consumers to shop from. Please choose Walmart Spark Delivery over Meijer Curbside Pickup. With Walmart Spark Delivery you receive your groceries directly to your home without the hassle of waiting for orders that are missing items from severely under paid low wage employees who are only paid $12.50 per hr.

It may he nice for customers if you labeled your canned fruit for isle 15. Who would look in the paper aisle for canned fruit?? Then you mention it to someone that looks important and they laugh about it.

Meijer has consistently caused us issues. Multiple pick up orders with tons of "out of stock" items and yet we found all of them in store immediately after we picked up. The store then not doing anything to fix it. I decided to give them one last try and will not be using meijer again if I can help it. This pick up order we got cream cheese and opened them and both were completely molded despite the expiration date being 2024 and the fruit tray expires the next day. They have also raised their prices and for what? Worse quality all around. I am now worried about everything I bought being bad and wasting money and food by not being able to eat it.

There were actually enough cashiers to get into a lane for people with large orders. Those self check out lanes have been a pain, and I was shopping elsewhere when I had a lot of items to get.

Shop there all the time, pharmacy pharmacy also. It can be frustrating when they Don't have an item. I have a Meijer shoping for 60 years.

Meijer is ALWAYS great. This location is good for people in southern Portage. Clean, well stocked, friendly. We just moved to the area and stayed over a month in Southfield before arriving and this Meijer is so much cleaner and stocked so much better. We're happy to have it close.

I put in an order earlier today to be done between 1:00 and 2:00 it got doneI So before leavingI told him I was on my wayWhich would take at least 20 minutes.I got here and unfortunately I'm still sitting here 45 minutes later people are coming in and out of here getting their stuff and mine is not coming out this is stinking ridiculous I'm in stall number nine and I've been here and all of the people that had pulled in later is here.One of my favorite little girlsThat I've had before.Finally I got my order 45 to 50 minutes late compared to sitting here all this time this is ridiculous.!Thanks for making this kid do it all alone until he was so over run by orders!!Pam Wiessner

Curbside pickup is a literal nightmare. Orders are rarely correct or on time. Don’t do so at this location.Edit a year later. Tried pickup again. They moved the time of the order to the next day with no notification. Fully incompetent system in place. Avoid.

If you are looking for general work experience, this is the place to go. After about 2-3 months, GET OUT. The management, especially up front is a complete joke as well as it's pay. Would love to see a complete re-staff as well as a hefty raise in minimum pay. If you already have retail experience looking for somewhere else, LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE

I'm not a Meijer person so when I come here I'm always super confused where to find things. However it is all around a decent place to shop if you've been to one before. Lol. I get overwhelmed with everything I'm unfamiliar with. People are nice

My least favorite Meijer in the Kalamazoo area. The Main Street and Westnedge location are both superior in my opinion. I still frequent this location as it is unfortunately the closest to my home by far, but the stock availability, variety of items carried and friendliness of the staff (especially the “greeters”) is severely lacking.
