Staff is always friendly. Ashley our vet tech was great with our 9 month old puppy who needed a blood draw.I appreciate the diligent efforts the staff makes to prevent multiple pets from being in the reception/waiting area at one time. This really helps reduce chaos and stress for pets and their owners.

I am like my cats - we don't like going to the vet. Lakeview does a good job. I've been taking my cats here for several years the staff, the doctors all seem to be on the ball and have a genuine concern for your pets well being. I recommend them.

My visit was incredible! I felt like the staff genuinely cared about my dog’s health and didn’t feel like other places that I’ve been that saw me like a bank with surprise charges.At Lakeview they were upfront and explained everything to me and answered all my questions. My pets have been patients at Lakeview since 2011, I think. Back then it was just the Greathouses. Now, with new digs and lots of new doctors it’s still a great vet. I’ve sent so many people and their pets to them, and they are always happy. Keep up the great work!!

Our 17 year old kitty needed an ultrasound to explain some things that were happening and Dr. Corinne Herman did the ultrasound. She was very thorough and explained everything clearly. She has such a heart for animals. She helped us put a plan in place to keep our sweet boy going strong. All of the staff we have interacted with are kind, caring and helpful.

The total staff from Lakeview Animal Hospital is friendly and great to my dog. They have always given me options and a price before doing anything so I have never had a surprise bill. When my Shih tzu Smore ate moth balls and was deathly ill, they swooped him right in to pump his tummy and bring him back to full health. They're Awesome group of caring people

Been going to Lakeview Animal Hospital for the last 3 months. I had two kittens registered and shortly after moving then into my home, one of them happened to break a leg. They helped me find a trusted care path, not just for my hurt kitten, but his healthy brother too. They constantly remind me how much they love seeing them grow up, and always are so loving. I highly recommend you check out Lakeview if you're near the Portage area. Best service I've had here, and the only service I'd want to keep having. Thanks team!

I want to thank everyone at this vet. Today was a hard day all together. They got me in and was understanding of my lateness to my dog appointment but still took us in. They talked with me about the issues my dog was having. After having my dog for 14 years and how small he was and what was going on it was decided to put my baby boy down. Everyone was great and helped as much as they could. Thank u for the care and help u all provided me. Also helped with all the private cremation planning. I love this place and recommend ppl to bring ur pets here. Even those it was a hard choice to make for coming to this vet the first time it was the best. Thank u all so much! SO much gratitude for Lakeview Animal Hospital. A few weeks ago our 3yo cat, Murdock, was found draped across the water bowl, very lethargic, and vomiting. We couldn’t get him into our regular vet, and couldn’t get through to the ER. It turns out Murdock had a blocked urethra and the prognosis wasn’t great initially. The vets were very upfront about the type of care needed and the costs. Due to his young age we decided to give Murdock a fighting chance and he was able to pull through. I am just so amazed and grateful to the staff here for taking care of Murdock even though we are not regular customers. They kept us updated throughout and were extremely kind.

When Mika came to us, we knew we needed to find care for her that mirrored the love we feel for her. I had reached out to friends with pets in seeking area vet offices and received multiple suggestions. After ranking them by the number of friends that had voted for them and cross referencing each with those accepting new patients - we opted for a different one than Lakeview Animal Hospital in Portage.Boy were we wrong.Lakeview Animal Hospital - is fan-TAS-tic. The amazing staff is cognizant of the current global pandemic, but also, they are knowledgable at every level of their staffing. They are kind, caring, reasonable not rigid, fair market affordable and offer a variety of doctors on hand. Further, I am SO impressed at their professionalism and connectedness plus tech-savvy options aimed at making navigating one more element (pets!) easier to manage in our already busy lives. I recently moved to Portage from LA and decided to try Lakeview Animal Hospital based on the great reviews. They did not disappoint. Everyone was friendly, the vet spent the time to explain everything to me. Additionally, my dog is fearful/shy and they made sure we got in and out without making the dog more anxious. Thanks again!

We absolutely love Lakeview Animal Hospital. From the receptionists to the techs to the vets, they are all rockstars! My dog, Murphy, has been dealing with an unfortunate disease (that Lakeview found and diagnosed) and it’s extremely emotionally draining with lots of trail and errors with medications. Dr. Harlan has made this whole entire process so much easier on us. She’s reassuring, she goes above and beyond, and she has my dogs best interest at heart. She would call to see how Murphy is doing, respond to my emails with thorough responses, and always a pleasure in person. When this first started, we had concerns of these lesions that popped up and she stayed on the phone with me and had me email a picture to her to give me a proper response instead of blowing us off with a vague answer. Myself, my husband, and Murphy love her and trust her with all our hearts. We are thankful to have her as our vet and be clients at Lakeview. Also, a shout out to the amazing hardworking techs. I believe Ashley was her name this last time and she was awesome. Murphy definitely loved her.

Five years ago things were great here.. Over the past several years it became a business that tests and retest..I cannot keep staff. Girls in the front are nice but the vet and techs that work with your pets, not so much. I'm pretty sure it's due to the fact that they cannot keep staff.
