This is probably one of the best looking, best zoned grocery stores we have been to. Everything is so well kept and organized.The Deli, produce,juice section just looks beautiful. What they lack in size they make up for the quality of the products. The place is pricier than other bug retail stores but makes that up with a much better shopping experience. This store feels really upscale as compared to the other Harding's.All Covid measures are being taken and the staff is friendly. Also you can buy the delicious Mackinac Island fudge here.

This is by far the nicest Hardings I have shopped at. The Porter House 🥩 steaks were fresh and a nice thick cut for the grill.I also had salmon to buy that day for dinner. They had filets that were already seasoned and marinated nicely priced as well. I am really glad that we decided to stop and just get our shopping done there. I wish our ( Coloma, Hardings) store had the fresh veggies too.

Was just in line and they wouldn't sell alcohol to an obviously 70+ year old lady because she didn't have ID because it was store policy. Compassion, common sense and community is not something this store has.

Not just your generic store they got a little bit of everything from every aspect of every person's life that they could possibly have there they even have an open fresh area where you can get fresh food that's made right there aside from the fact that we all know that it's just a grocery store and it doesn't have a bunch of electronic gadgets but it has plenty of selection.

Great grocery store. The deli has a variety of salads and already made sandwiches. Bakery food is delicious and allot of choices. Plus to me I love great customer service and the people that work here are awesome. Very clean store.

I appreciate the service that you do not get anywhere else. I appreciate the amazing paper bags, and the fact that they will carry your groceries out for you. I love the old time feel. I'd rather go here than Walmart. I hope it stays the same!!!!

Though we live twice as close to a Meijer store than to this Harding's, my husband and I would rather patronize Harding's any day. Their service is top-notch, the staff could not be more friendly or more ready to assist the customer. They pull off what most merchants only hope to manage -- making their customers very comfortable and satisfied, while maintaining a high level of efficiency. The only time I ever saw a line at checkout, it was less than a day until Christmas. In addition, we prefer their meat and produce hands down -- fresher and better quality than any competitor. And, when I avail myself of their pick up service, my order has been filled with as-good or better items than I would have picked for myself with no difference in price. Plus, I have the benefit of getting the inside track to customized requests, whether it be the size of a roast or the freshness of bread. Such great attention to detail! So glad we moved here where they are a presence. There were no Harding's stores where my husband and I moved from and we feel like we stumbled on a real bonus for the relocation (Kroger's was the best we could do before the move).

I love this Hardings! The workers here are always kind and helpful :) The only change I would make is giving the cashiers tall stools at the cash register or providing chairs for them. It would go a long ways to accommodate disabled workers.

This Hardings is the ONLY chain store in Portage to carry Loot Energy at time of posting - and that's a shame! Hopefully other Hardings will carry soon and other chains will catch on! Crisp, clean lemon-lime flavor (leans more to the lime side), NOT full of sugar (Stevia instead - 7th ingredient), and none of the "supplement-rich" risks - pic of can with ingredients included. Definitely try a can if you frequent this location!

This is probably one of my favorite cozy local grocery stores that I absolutely adore. Deli is always stocked and fresh, sushi bar is amazing, staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is certainly homey and welcoming. As of recently, the cafe area has a 'take a book, leave a book' library, the old pharmacy area now has gifts, and they are also selling Hardings branded merch in the front. I highly encourage to keep shopping locally!

The best three bean salad in the area. Which I find surprising. It seems like all the Hardings would have the same recipe. The West Main Hardings is closer to me but it does not have the same flavor. Hat’s off to Woodbridge Harding’s

The one on Center is excellent. Clean and very helpful staff.Only have to check expiration dates on bottles and cans, as sometimes are very close to expired. Not a problem if you are going to use it right away but not if you want to stock up on the item.

I love shopping at Harding's when I'm in Portage visiting my grandkids. It's a great store, especially their produce, deli, and bakery. Their donuts available for individual purchase are SO good!

Four stars just because it's a little hard to get to and a bit pricey. Deserves five stars for quality, cleanliness, selection and service. Plus, no need to ask, they just take my order to the car and put the bags inside. Paper bags, too, that I can easily reuse.

Wonderful little gem of a store. I was very surprised at how many specialty food items were available. Great gluten free selection, and organic section in the produce. Lots of fresh cut meat choices, and a gorgeous seafood case!Impressive wine selection too. There are wine and cheese tastings here on Thursday & Friday evenings.Employees are friendly & helpful. I have yet to have a bad experience.I will be back! Thankyou for the great service.

Always a great place to grab some quick groceries. Employees are nice and the store is always clean. Produce and meat always look fresh. Seafood looks good to but I do not eat seafood. Deli always seems to be a hit or miss, really depends on who is working.

A great place to shop. It's always very clean and the staff are very friendly. It's small enough you can find everything you need quickly. This Harding's has an absolutely amazing wine selection. Good produce!

Well I live close to this Harding's, however, they don't have diet Pepsi wild Cherry pop in the 8 oz bottles. They do have excellent coffee. I like shopping there. Their meats and deli items are really super!
