Great selection of different foods. They have the option of having the bagger take out the groceries for you for free. They have a hot bar and the food is good for a grocery store. They also have a bakery love the fresh different types of breads they have here. Everyone is friendly and the store is organized and clean.

This is a really nice store. My wife and I recently started stopping at Harding for a few of our weekly grocery items. The store is very clean. The chicken smells amazing. The produce looks great. They have a clearly marked section for Gluten Free. Thank you Harding. I recently found that I have a gluten allergy. This section makes it easy to find new foods I can try! The employees are always friendly. They actually have a cashier and a person that bags your groceries. Nice experience after doing self check out everywhere else for the last few years.

Haven't been to this harding's a lot. But usually this store is well stocked and kept well. Sometimes there are good deals on Snacks, Chips, pop etc which beat the prices of Walmart, Meijer's etc. But everything else is relatively more expensive than the big grocery stores.Unfortunately came in to get the Stewart's Orange cream soda but it was completely out like most of the other drinks on that shelf.Overall a good store with a laid back pace and way less crowded which a great bonus during these crazy times.

I love this local, home town store. I've been shopping at one Hardings or another since I moved to Kzoo (depending on what side of town I was living). Yes, the prices are a little higher (I took off 1 star only for this reason) but they tend to stock some harder to find items (Mrs. Grass soup, the chop suey vegetables that don't have the disgusting little corn in them, molasses, etc.) & they are nowhere near as crowded as Walmart/Meijer. I believe they also give some people who are having a hard time employment when many other employers won't take a chance on them. Nice, lovely, local store! Also the baggers will take the groceries to your car for free (although tips are appreciated) if you need which is especially handy if you have heavy items & have a hard time lifting things or are disabled. Also if you bring your water jugs back they have refills on them for about 39 cents! The original jug will cost you about $1.50-$2.00 but the refill price makes this worth it. They also sell money orders for cheaper than the gas stations @ $1 each up to $500.Edited to add: Hands down the best meat out of all of the grocery stores around here. I only buy my hamburger at Hardings! Reasonable prices on meat for the quality of it.

This store carries Otto's chicken and I always come here to get my Boston pork butt for pulled pork. It is also a store where you can go in and get hot food and sit down and enjoy your meal. Where some of the other grocery stores and the big box chain stores do not have.

So I was strolling through Harding's with the most amazing woman. I mean, truly, you have no idea. We made our way through the deli and the baked goods area, which momentarily diverted my gaze from this gift of the gods. Those were some really good looking muffins, ya know?Then we walked through the meat section, jostling each other and giggling like teenagers. It's amazing to be in love again so late in life, so even choosing hamburger together was a tiny little adventure. I suggested the bigger package, so we could split it up into a couple meals. We chuckled about bigger packages. We held hands."Do you want some Coke?" I asked, knowing how much she likes a sip after she gets up. We already know each other so well, so I knew she'd be glad I remembered her mornings.We forgot a few things, no doubt distracted by the stars in our eyes, the butterflies in our tummies, and had to circle back around. Back to the produce section for some onion and tomato to put on our burgers. My girl is a freakin' Jedi Grill Master, on top of all the other things she excels at.She's proud too, so she didn't want me to pay. But come on now, I'm at her house almost every night, devouring her luscious cooking while I devour her with my eyes. I'd do just about anything for her, and her for me. It's hard to believe something like this happened. It's like magic, and so our trip to Harding's was just another magical journey.Harding's, man. Bring the girl you love, and maybe even grocery shopping will be a moment you won't forget.

A few days before SS pays, so I had to go in with change. Tried to get it counted at the service desk to save the clerk time, but she directed me to the coin machine which charges 11% PLUS a flat 50 cent fee. She then said I could BUY coin wrappers. I just said I'll have to take up your check out person's time then as I need everything for food. That was a mistake because, lane 3 clerk at 2:15 was a really RUDE person about counting the change. Then she rang it up before charging my ebt the $2 balance like I said. Oh well, was her reply. RUDE RUDE RUDE PEOPLE.

What was once a local gem sadly seems to be declining. Consistent inventory shortages, prices rising to the point where I can get a better deal on meat elsewhere, on my last visit I got attitude from the manager because I had $35 in bottle returns, despite my purchases being well over $50. Okay, you don't want to work with me? Then I can find someplace else that appreciates my business. Employees here have always been top notch, that's what kept me coming back. Sorry to see that customer focused attitude fading.

5 stars because this is my local store and I shop for groceries here most of the time. I am satisfied with the store overall. The one star is for cashier Bennet who needs to put her phone away while she is working on the clock. She was texting while the customer ahead of me was waiting for the bagger to finish. Then she made me wait while she finished her text. That was about 15-20 seconds. Why is it that some workers can't disconnect from their phone while they're working?

Very well staffed and usually very well stocked. Harding's is the kind of store that you can get nearly everything you want. Better service than Walmart or Meijer. You're going to pay a little bit more than the national chain stores.

I always love shopping local, and Hardings is a staple. This was my first time at this location and I wasn't disappointed at all. Excellent selection of products, all in stock (what I needed anyway), and all at reasonable prices. Great service from all employees encountered.

Decent grocery store, but it feels like you are stepping back in time 20+ years when you shop here. No self checkouts, and the prices are quite a bit higher than most other stores. And they go crazy with the plastic bags, I end up with a mountain of plastic waste given to me whenever I leave. Hopefully they can update this store soon to be a bit more modern but I imagine this store will be overtaken by all the better options around it eventually

Nice clean market. They still have that old fashioned customer service quality that the larger stores don't have. The prices are a little higher however you can't beat the atmosphere.The people working the deli counter are great. They work as a team to get things done. I.E. a lady was cutting our meat up and when another worker finished with their customer they asked if they could get us anything else while our meat was being cut.I also liked the fact that they still have baggers who bag your groceries and cart them off to your vehicle. That's something you won't get now a days with the larger stores.If they had competitive prices it would be a 5 star rating!

Impressive selection of adult beverages. As far as groceries go, well, I wasn't shopping for groceries, so I don't know. But if it's similar to other Harding's, it's probably fine. Except for I used to be able to find my favorite soy sauce (House of Tsang Ginger flavoured soy sauce) there (and buy several and take it on the plane back to the west coast) but I haven't seen it in several years.

Love this store and the employees. Great service! When you walk in, there are smiles and greetings to be had. The store is very clean and has a nice selection of groceries. They will put your groceries in your car for you. Such a great experience!

Friendly staff and very helpful. The free Breakfast that they give to every payed guest was absolutely wonderful. Other hotels could learn something from them. My King Room was only $52.00 a day. Very Nice!

They have a plasma center next door to them and have recently decided that in order to get cash back they will now be charging $5 fees. I get your a smaller store, but do you really have to take money from poor people? You do realize that a lot of your customers come from the plasma center dont you? Imagine whatll happen when they catch wind of it

I don't want check in my tote. I use a tote something pack a snack and sunscreen for work or to carry mail so I can take it to the post office. You want me to go home and drop off my tote at home before I go shop at Harding's? I bought from here before its because its a convenient location from before and after my work commutes. I work hard for my money and ostracizing me is showing me that you'd rather I take my business somewhere else.
